Place of history. Then is a tour available for guest about the caribs. Wonderful place to spend the day with the kids and watch nature unfold with the squirrels.

Woodland area surrounded by housing developments. The area was dedicated to show the way how the Amerindian communities lived and survived. It is a great location for schools to have field trips as students will be able to gain insight into the history and culture of a people who lived here in Trinidad.

The best thing about Cleaver Woods Park is the Amerindian exhibit. Visit with your kids especially just after they cover the topic in school. I've stopped by occasionally after school just to provide a different, outside, relatively quiet environment to chill, read or do homework. My friend who used to live in walking distance used to do there with her six kids for an occasional picnic. The bathroom conditions and play area do not wow me and that's why I just say Okay.

Long Awaited Reopening, however the outskirts of such nature park has few seating areas and on the Southern side of the park is more open for pictures and trail walks, in groups that is.

Trees have fallen with the recent heavy rains and high winds. Work is still underway to remove and clean up the park

There are falling trees here so it's a pretty old park. Don't recommend hanging out there until the authorities can do something about the old trees

Set in a well maintained wooded nature park. It has trails for light traversing its 32 acre setting. One can also find artifacts from the First Peoples' in a museum, I housed in dwellings representative of that pre-columbian era. Its tranquility, amidst the greenery, lends itself for peaceful relaxation. Where one can recharge in verdant natural surroundings. There are park benches and tables, with thatched umbrella like roofing. Where over can have a picnic with friends and family. It is located on the outskirts of Arina, bordering D'abadie. Easily accessed for commuters, as it borders the Eastern Main Road. Which is well serviced by maxi-taxis. The "Priority Bus Route is not too far away, but is not advised, for the lack of pavements on part of the roadway.
