Spent a few nights here in August. Main impression -- it's basic and dingy, but if you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep, it will do. Negatives: The walls and floors of our room had many stains that had not been cleaned or repainted. Things like the faucet and TV worked but seemed ill maintained, such as the loose doorknob. There was once a fire detector, but it had been removed. There was basically no natural light -- one tiny prison-like window near the top of the bathroom was the only source. Sound carried throughout the building and we could hear just about anything the other guests were doing. The room smelled strongly of mothballs. The hot water never really got past warm. Positives: Despite the stains and being "rough around the edges," the room was at least clean in that it had been swept and the linens seemed fresh. The WiFi was super fast. The attendants were polite and helpful. There was secure parking available. The location by the airport and the price are hard to beat.

Two stars only because one particular female attendant was very nice/friendly to me when a relative visited Trinidad and stayed here. I'm not sure if the rest of reviews were paid for or if it's not the same place they are speaking about... This is what I've witnessed/experienced. The "Inn" is in a very inconvenient dirt road that is very far from the nearest store or grocery. in fact... It's not close to... Anything. At all. As they stated. "Dirt road" is a compliment. The holes can fit an entire car in them. Transport is hard to get if you don't have a rental with you. This particular place has no phones in the rooms, one microwave downstairs. If you need a hair dryer you need to go downstairs as well and look for someone. Everytime you need to leave or enter the premises, you need to ask someone to "please open the gate." It can sometimes be a wait and feel pretty embarrassing. The "Inn" has the worst cable/ internet service which is practically none existent. And for a business.... Bad water supply? Rain water is collected for use and runs in the taps without the residents knowing what they are using. There were also a couple instances of guests bathing and the water just being turned off without them being told - "to save water" because the supply was low. So you have to now... Wipe the soap off, dress, walk down stairs and ask someone to put the water back on. It's also a "pay by the hour" guest house. Imagine sitting in this tiny windowless room where there's not even a door to go to the bathroom/shower section. Just a curtain. And you're talking to an old relative when people start.... Moaning... Loudly... Down the hall. I was SO embarrassed. I don't know how this place exists. My relative got up one morning and there was a roach in the bed... That had died there while they were asleep and probably rolled on it. The rooms aren't cleaned each day. Only when you're leaving. And all food needs to be ordered, by you, from a catering company... in advance. There is no food service on site. At all. The face basin faucet is also really close to the back of the sink so you have to touch the back of the sink to wash your hands. This is an honest review. As per my experience.

Stayed here for a short trip and I was very happy with this experience. The owner took every step possible to ensure my guests and I had a comfortable stay at this residence. The driver was on time at the airport and taking us back to the airport was also very much arranged and on time. If you're looking for something close to everything but a feel for countryside, then this is your spot. The staff were friendly and the room were clean. I will definitely stay here again.

This place was excellent. The manager made sure that I was well taken care of, provided me with a taxi to and from the airport and even to go to my own destinations. He was very friendly, kept in touch and made me feel comfortable. The room was lovely. Bed and bath were great. I definitely recommend this place. Good price too 😆

Warm atmosphere, cool n friendly staff.. A place to visit and experience for yourself I am more than happy to rate n promote this establishment.. I will love to revisit soon..

Good night cap hotel for a layover or a quick travel to Trinidad. Owner makes the necessary arena for you to have an amazing stay.

Me and Michael Berry visit this place and I just like the Manager he is an awesome guy and always willing to help 😀 The staff was great and very helpful and professional 👍 I don't mind going back 😀 It was a pleasure meeting all off them at studio 27 inn.

Rooms were clean and pleasantly surprising for the price. Staff was very professional and helpful especially with organising things like food or any services that you may need. They didn't even charge extra for these things. Happy with my stay.

Something about this place is just convient for business. Been here twice I just overnight and they are very accomodating.

Studio 27 Inn is tucked away in suburbia close to Trinidad's major airport. Whilst the neighbourhood can seem intimidating for those not used to security fences and barbed wire, this accommodation is excellent value for money. A cosey, well air conditioned room with a comfy bed, large shower with hot and cold water, reliable WiFi, and friendly and helpful staff, I recommend this place to anyone travelling on a budget or needing cheap accommodation whilst transferring flights in Trinidad.
