As a Roman Catholic, one cannot think think about Arima without giving a thought to one of its oldest Landmarks. This Church has served the Roman Catholic Community in Arima and environs for over Two hundred years, since 1789 to be exact. Many an Arima person can lay claim to stepping into this marvelously constructed church. Also many can claim to have been Baptized, held their first communion, their conformation, Marriage and other RC sacraments. It has even been the focus of a Vatican investigation involving a weeping virgin Mary Statue in 1991. A symbol of Arima pride and the strength and stability of the Arima Community. Definitively worth the Visit

Great church,known here since i was a tadpole.Nice masses,an early mass daily @ 6:a:m,comfortable seating,spacious,very relaxing,wheel chair access on the right side entrance,i believe there are two(2) differently-abled parking spots along with ordinary parking in yard(along the park across the road is also utilized).There is a prayer room aft of the church,a few seats in the garden/recreation area,an office & books,several other items & light refreshments for sale also.

It's very peaceful the office staff have excellent costumer service, they are always willing to listen and offer a comforting word.

Can't come better than Santa Rosa De Arima, Patroness of Arima. Parish of the Indigenous people. People of Praise Community's church.

Really nice experience.

The environment was clean. Following the Covid 19 protocols ( wash your hands, temperature check, registration).

The church is beautiful, but there is need for some upgrades.

Unfortunately the church goers who have a little "power" don't take example from the priests and tend to make attendance at some events (not Mass) less pleasant. They need training in basic love your neighbour behaviour and to practice service. Not much parking for church attendees... and the police like to pass and wreck illegally parked cars - be forewarned. Bargain Saturday is not usually a bargain but maybe good depending on whether you enjoy the people's company who frequent that monthly event.
