Cons NURSES and GUARDS Several rude nurses who begrudgingly gave me directions or act condescending and impatient at every point of the hospital. They are fairly authoritative and stand offish but the doctors at general practise are pleasant. One security guards was unsurprisingly confrontational and openly rude to me in particular. FOREIGN DOCTOR ACCENT Can't clearly understand the foreign doctors at GP. HYGIENE Bathrooms need to be cleaned, always moderately dirty. WAIT TIME Waiting time, basically take the day off. Very long with impatient nurses. Pros FREE TESTS There are so many tests that can be done freely and the lab wait time appointments is only 1-2 weeks. I come in anytime though. NICE DOCTORS AND OK CSR The doctors are patient and pleasant. The CSR (GP) are ok as well. GENERAL CLEANLINESS It's big and breezy and clean.

Very helpful staff. Very hardworking men and women in the health care industry in the fight for healing restoration and recovery for those in dire need of medical care. All Health and Safety protocols are observed and well maintained. Patience is key at this time Prepare to wait for some hours depends on the level of treatment required. People your mind is the cure and healer of the body.

I recently used a department of this facility, it required me to attend at 8:00 am for the procedure. I met other people waiting and when the clerk did come in, she asked for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc., I was the fifth patient to go in and was made to feel very comfortable. The shock came after, when I was given a slip of paper and told to return in 4-6 weeks for the results. Surely they need to be more efficient than this.

Long wait time, due to the fact it's an accident and emergency department and not a hospital....it's not first come, first in....it's based on the severity of your complaint. My advice....if it's not serious don't bother going, you'll be waiting for a while and end up being frustrated and angry.

Arima General Hospital was recently opened and is one of the new state of the art, health facilities in Trinidad and Tobago. The facility is well staffed, modern and it's located just opposite the popular Arima Velodrome. Trinidad and Tobago is one of the few country's in the world where, higher education and health care are free... and that is a remarkable thing. Aroma Hospital is also one of the Covid 19 centers for testing and treatment. The entire staff of Doctors and Nurses, including the EMT attendants was pleasan and attentive. Plus everyone was supportive, patient and very professional.

It is a big place. Polite staff. Long wait. Plenty parking.

In the old hospital it takes hours for service

Went to get help for my 3 month old. The staff was friendly but the process to reach a doctor was long and frustrating. Stayed 5 hours waiting before we saw a doctor.

Long wait, no beds... and stress

The most polite and helpful person I met was the Amalgamated Security, from there it was down hill. I registered, as this is the formality, and was sent to sit under a tent with my fellow botherations. No one said anything to us outcast, my thoughts were that there were bets by the staff on who would die first. When you are ailing and visit a health facility everyone in scrubs is assumed to be a doctor, and boy I saw a lot of them walking around. The good thing was i made it to see a doctor, after ….. cellphone from 100% to dead, so walk with a charger. In Trinbago you get what you pay for and the say health care free.

The service was good by the nurses and I got threw in 2 hrs time cause I git their early and waited until 8am

It's a sad place to be. Not all but some of the Nurses and staff need training in socialism. They need to know how to speak to humans. They treat you worst than a stray dog. Make worst if you have a child with disabilities. God help them, they need plenty of it.
