What a beautiful 4 hour adventure this was!! The hike was long but we did stop ever so often to regain stamina and strength and refresh ourselves with water and food. There are no trash bins around so please pick up after yourselves and maybe bring a bag or trash bag. We did not plan this hike at all but it’s a hidden gem and a nice little getaway from the city mess. There are different types of terrain, rocky, sandy, steep, etc. The Colorado River was also very beautiful, as we were not prepared we obviously didn’t have any water shoes on hand so getting into the river bed barefoot did hurt a little but it was beautiful nonetheless. The park has a ton of different trails, some easier than others. They also have tons of activities that we will have to check out later!! I got some amazing photos but pictures do not do the park justice, the smells, the views, the sound of the tall trees swaying with the wind. I recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun hike!

I took a day trip with my dog here and we did a 5 mile hike. Doggo had a great time! Its pretty out here. You can hear the road during the hike. This seems to be a popular place for trail runners, however, when I went I only ran into three people during my entire hike (most were running the trail.) It was fun.

This is an amazing park! The visitor center has some displays that are fun for kids and adults both. Restrooms are offered in the visitor center until closing time. Dogs on leashes are welcome. There are many miles of trails with terrains all the way from what the River Trail has to offer to the Pine Canyon Trail! There are some stunning views to be found in this part. The trails are kept up very nicely and are well marked.

Coleyworld approved 💜 Fabulous trails! So happy to have come across this place because it’s now on rotation for when I need a solid hike and some bird watching!

Had a nice time walking around here. Trails are a little water damaged, but the main issue is the eye sore that is the golf course. It really takes away from the beauty of the area.

There’s admission cost, we paid $5 per adult. The trails were nice. Some nice views in a couple places. There’s a spot to let the dogs check out the river. I went 2/11/23 Saturday, zip line was not running, trails were muddy in some spots but walkable, trail was peaceful, passed a few other people with their fur babies. There’s a few Pokestops and Pokémon gyms.

Had a blast here. The mountain biking experience was great. Would for sure recommend. The downhills though can be scary if you are not used to going downhill fast. Great way to learn how to mountain bike.

We went for a 3rd grade field trip, it was very informative. I learned SO much and it was very interesting. We went on a nice hike learning about the environment, had a picnic lunch and then attended a group session learning all about the snakes, frogs, fish, turtles and even alligators. The employees there are so enthusiastic about what they are teaching which makes it really fun for the kids and even adults. I definitely want to go back and try out their other activities.

It was so nice to get outside and have plenty of trail options and see all the smiling happy faces hiking around out there. I loved it there!! Can’t wait to go back when everything is in bloom!!

This place is a hidden gem! There are plenty of trails here. Don't forget to pick up a trail map from the visitor center. We happened to stop by on Halloween weekend, and they had lots of fun activities for the families l and trick or treating on trail. Our dog enjoyed the trail very much and took a swim in the Colorado River. I'd definitely come back.

LCRA park. Lots of improvements at the park...nice work 👍 I've been coming out here to run for about 15 years, maybe more. Double digit miles of trails. Staff is always nice, bathrooms in the visitor's center are nice, park has always been nice & also is frequently being repaired and improved. No overnight camping, however there are other facilities for staying over. Lots of accommodations for horses, so share the trail and be mindful if you're out there and come across the horses (and their riders!), step aside and yield the trail to them. No cycling on most of the trails. Dogs should be on leash (park rules), especially because of surprise encounters with horses, rattlesnakes and coral snakes, and sharing the trail with other people.
