Great venue, we enjoyed an excellent dance performance by the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble. The seats were comfortable. The building is wonderful.

I have loved this building for years! The architecture, the style, the location, the interior, everything. My husband and I go every couple years to hear the Houston Symphony. Our last attendance was for Once and it was fantastic!

Amazing atmosphere...amazing venue...amazing staff...magical evening. Easy to find. Many parking structures. Comfortable seating. Great views. If you love the arts and Jones Hall is the venue, you won't be disappointed.

First time here for a symphony. We bought tickets for the 10am morning symphony which was great!! I didn't realize so many people brought their kids to experience the symphony. One crying baby still didn't ruin my experience. I would definitely like to experience it at night. Clean restrooms however I didn't venture upstairs as the concert we attended was downstairs. Will definitely be back!!

This place is amazing. Nestled amongst the sky scraper buildings of downtown Houston. Seats were comphy enough. The view was good. Even from the balcony. Would have liked sound system in balcony as to better hear what’s on stage. But it was still good !!! Saw the blue man group. Fantastic show.

Absolutely stellar experience. We watched Cirque de la symphonie, featuring a quick change artist, a clown, two aerialists, and a strongman act. The orchestra and the performances were amazing! The preorder process for food was quick and easy, and we conveniently got food ready to go for intermission (not to mention the fabulous brownie). The facility is amazing, and we thank our friend Stephanie who gifted us with tickets!

We loved it! The one thing I would advise it to stay out of seats section B in the balcony G7 G6 G5 because they are blocked by a railing making it difficult to see. But it's a beautiful theater and the show was great!

Loved the performance! The seating was perfect! The only issue was the usher who continuously bothered us. We were told no phones during the performance, which was fine. But each time we would look at our phone, not using it, the usher would come over to our section to remind us. It was almost as if she was picking on us. Especially since there were a few people in the audience clearly recording during the performance and could be seen doing it. **the photos and video was taken before the performance and after, once everyone was allowed to take pictures and film**

A wonderful experience for my first time watching a spectacular symphony orchestra. Parking wasn't a hassle as there were parking lots within a short walking distance. The food was delicious and to top it off they served the renowned Katz coffee. The auditorium is cozy and nearly every seat has a great view of the stage area. The seats aren't as comfortable but they do recline somewhat. After 30 mins my body started to feel stiff but that could also be due to aging πŸ˜… I will definitely come back again soon.

Great parking, great staff. Enjoyed the Symphony. However, the mask requirements were a bit much. It was warm in the hall and a mask makes it hard to breathe. With all of the other arena events going on across the country and no outbreaks taking place, mask should be an option. Will not return until the mask requirements are lifted.

STOMP was awesome!! Parking was great, seats were awesome, (3rd row) performance was spectacular!! Really loved the convenience of the parking to the venue, being not able to walk far. Really enjoyed this venue. πŸ’–πŸ’•

We were there to see STOMP, and it was great. We ended up on the 2nd row after receiving a ticket upgrade, which was awesome to see these talented percussionists up so close. Jones Hall is a nice venue. Food & beverages are available.

Love the new remodel. If you can't grab dinner before you get there, their catering is decent. I miss the reclining chairs, but the new ones are still nice and roomy. The acoustics are wonderful. I love attending Houston Symphony concerts there!

Beautiful building, great staff, no real handicap parking close by. And the handicap bathroom is down a lot of stairs. There didn't seem to be ramps to get to the different levels. We had a difficult time getting to our seats. The seats were comfortable with plenty of arm room.

Here for Andres Orosco Estrada's farewell concert! The music and chorus singing was so beautiful to listen to! They performed Gustav Mahler's Resurrection and it was divine!

The seats all have the same numbers on them in different sections and the section numbers are at the back of the theater. We and many other people were in the wrong seats as a result. The seating people could have helped, but they didn't understand it either. Every other theater in the USA and Europe I've been to has had this figured out. The acoustics were good. The conductor of the John Williams selections however, actually said, "we're going to play all the lesser known pieces." Ugh. People come for the popular music. Not what the conductor likes. The titles was, "The BEST of" not, "lesser known of..." we just came for the music, but there were people in Star Wars and Harry Potter outfits there. One cute part was when the conductor used a little girl's wand to conduct. He should have let her do it, the orchestra didn't need him. They were excellent. The choir backing up the orchestra was amazing. Also, I'm disabled and it was a long walk up. The ticket takers said there was no elevator, but there was.

A surprisingly pleasant concert hall with a decent acoustic. They have the ability to lower the hexagonal acoustic buffers, closing off the upper balcony level, for lower capacity and more intimate chamber music or recitals. The auditorium itself is stylish and has retained its 1960s character through recent renovations. Good and catering options are limited at present due to COVID-19, but are the usual overpriced concert fare. One annoying quirk is that they check tickets at the outer doors to the building rather than the doors to the auditorium, so be prepared to stand in a line outside in whatever weather Houston happens to be serving up on the day.

Great experience. Wonderful performances and comfortable environment. And parking wasn’t an issue.

These musicians worked so hard on their music and I just couldn't miss it, I've gone for three years now never once did I feel that they weren't in tone or that they missed a note, though sometimes something was wrong but that's how music works, nothing is perfect. I am looking into going for the next years too. Thank you for your amazing music.

The acoustics are fabulous. I’ve been to several symphonies and the performances are always tops. I am also a season ticket holder, there are several season ticket packages to choose from, options for everyone interested in music.

Great hall. Very beautiful, elegant and clean place with great atmosphere. Recently attended Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty in this hall. It was great experience over all. After quick ticket scan the friendly staff directed us to our seats. The bathrooms were great. And the sound of all the instruments especially the violin sounded great in the hall. All in all recommend this venue.

Gorgeous venue; home to the Houston Symphony and Society for the Performing Arts. Recent renovations have greatly improved acoustics and accessibility. Underground Theater District parking garage has tunnel access and often offers $12 event rates.
