Edited: Reduced from 2-star (good ambiance) to 1-star, as both my husband and myself have experienced digestive issues after our visit. ___ Original review: Our experience at Restaurant Jardin was very disappointing. The food was not just mediocre, but actually bad. The cocktails seemed to have only a minimum amount of alcohol. A steak that was supposed to be medium-rare was almost well-done. The ambiance was lovely and the wait staff friendly -- though they did not attempt to make anything right with the food. Honestly, it's the worst food I've had in Brazzaville -- and ironically, at the highest price.

Just arrived in the Congo at that time. Was given this address for this restaurant. Food was excellent and the decor was wonderful. Ate outside surrounded by beautiful plant and flowers. Will definitely return to this restaurant when we will be visiting Brazzaville.
