I am staying in this hotel almost for a month now. I will simply write down facts so that whoever is considering to stay can adjust their expectation to their 4star rating. -I ordered room service a few times. They usually do not have what’s written in the menu. Either they are out of stock or they make something alike. Also you have to wait about an hour and half average, and that’s even lucky because here our request is easily forgotten. -before going out in the evening I asked for room cleaning. I came back to my room to notice that it is not cleaned at all. This happens too often, maybe 6,7 times if I remember correctly. My husband once bumped into cleaning stuff, my husband said Bonsoir and the stuff just glared at him. (When I bumped into other cleaning stuffs they were all nice and I appreciate them. This man could be exception) -the situation above forced us to wait outside the room or in the lobby for about an hour several times, and it was hard for me because I could not prepare my son to sleep even it was already over his bedtime. -we had to change our room during our stay because no hot water was running in the previous room. After moving out to our new room I came to know that many things/features were out of order in the previous room. They seem to never fix anything. -when I was swimming in the pool, suddenly dark colored water started to splash underwater from the bottom of the pool. Pool guard was not there at the time so I had to take care of many other kids(they were not mine) not to go near that dark splash. I still wonder if it came from sewer. The bartender was just watching us, I asked him if it is safe to go into the water, he said that is none of his business. Now that’s about it. I don’t blame them for the frequent water outage and power outage, since it’s normal in this town. Still if you are to stay here for business I recommend to bring your own wifi. Also I had to take stairs with my 3yrs old son, from 9th floor to RC. I do not want to hurt the feeling of good people who works here, but there are some who sees the request from the customers as trouble to be ignored. I feel ignored many times here. Personally, the next time I stay in Brazzaville I would chose a different hotel, where I can actually rest without so much stress.

Start with the positives, bedding is good and the staff works hard. That’s it. Theme of the hotel should be over promise and under deliver. It does not have the same quality of any Radisson, it is not a four or five star hotel, recommend do not stay here. Hotel has constant power outages in the rooms are hot. The hotel does not have floor fans to offer to counter balance the inadequate air condition. The food is mediocre at best and not four or five star quality. Poor WiFi when it is working. Often there are power outages. Inadequate generator power. Elevator is often broke. The restaurant in the morning does not open on time and the food is eh. Very often they run out of food in the morning and you have to wait 10 or 15 minutes before they restock it. The food at dinner takes nearly 2 hours to obtain. Of my 10 days stay at least seven of them. They ran out of towels and I did not have towels in my hotel room until late in the evening. 1-2 star hotel at best.

Radisson Blu Brazzaville is a complete disaster. For a so-called four-star hotel, you’d expect basic things like electricity, hot water, and clean rooms, right? WRONG. The power cut every five minutes—no elevators, no Wi-Fi, no TV, NOTHING. Hot water? Only after begging, and even then, barely enough to rinse off. The air conditioning was useless—you either roast or roast. The food? Absolute trash. The fries were black, soaked in oil, burgers were inedible, and even plain rice was a fail. Breakfast was a joke—stale bread that felt like plastic, and omelets drowning in oil. Nothing was fresh, nothing was edible. And the room? Filthy. Insects in the bed (yes, bugs living their best life while you suffer), and the whole place felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Hands down, the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else.

The view stands out especially at night when you see the lights of Kinshasa across the river. The hotel is large with a lot of space for walking and taking in the lovely scenery. The rooms are also very spacious and comfy. The service wasn't as quick which was the only con I noted but everything else was beautiful. I'd definitely stay there again.
