The establishment specializes in Japanese cheesecake. It's very clean inside, the whole place looked spotless. They have it opened area so you can see them making what they sell, it's really cool and interesting. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The prices are very reasonable. I tried the original Japanese cheesecake and original cheesecake tart. It was amazing, very delicious. I definitely recommend trying here.

This fluffy, cotton-y, spongy cheesecake is so good! A variety of flavors to choose from. The strawberry is delicious!

Holy moly their cheesecake is so yummy! I got ube, matcha, and original. The guy said ube is most popular then it’s original. It’s so moist, soft, and denser than a sponge cake. It doesn’t dry out after a few days. Ube is our favorite. The matcha is really strong in flavor but it was still wet not moist and didn’t slice so well. We waited 10 mins for it to be out of the oven and then branded with the logo and then prepared to box. Without letting it cool, I think it ruined the texture. Had to try the original just to know how it’s supposed to taste and it’s so fluffy! They have a bunch of flavors and a seasonal flavor. This time it’s black sesame and it wasn’t ready until another 30 minutes so we skipped it. All the cakes are served as whole for $11.30. You can’t get them in slices to try the flavors. What you want may not be ready so it’s best to call in. It’s pretty to cool to watch them behind the class from mixing the batter to the pans to the oven and how they box it.

It’s my first time having Japanese cheesecake so I don’t have anything to compare it with. Living up to the Asian taste as far as desserts go, Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese cheesecake is fluffy and not too sweet. We got the 5 for $10 muffin-sized cheesecake in assorted flavors which I will rank in my preference, Ube, Coffee, Pandan, Oreo, and Matcha. We also got the burnt Basque cheesecake, it was good, although a tad heavy on the lemon. Our Server Leslie was nice and patient. The store was clean and smelled heavenly. There’s a world map of all the Uncle Tetsu stores’ location. Parking is shared in this huge shopping center and can get quite hectic.

there's always something about a steamed cheesecake that goes beyond what a typical cheesecake tastes like. the texture is part of it. this location is small and they usually make enough for the day. if you stop by in the afternoon, some of their flavors will have sold out. the location in Arcadia seems to be a bit bigger, and also much busier due to the foot traffic and location. still a nice shop, good service. looking forward to visiting again to add to this review.

Wow! Thank you for opening at this location! So much closer than driving all the way to Arcadia Due to high demand of these Japanese Cheesecakes it’s always sold out. Sold out! Anyways So cool they finally opened one here at this location so thank you!

Came here because of all the hoopla around this place. I came out a little disappointed. Ordered the matcha cheesecake - not much flavour and couldn't taste the matcha. Also got a couple of tarts which was much better. Original cheese tart and Ube tart was good. Next time will get tarts instead of cheesecake.

Okay another Asian Food Delight if you LOVE "high end cheesecake" from Japan! So Fluffy! They finally have one in Hacienda Heights! Woohoo!! The Original Cheesecake and the Filipino Ube is yummy!!! Got to try it! Thank you Uncle Tetsu! Hehehehehe

I was helped out by Joe…. He was very nice and friendly and provided great customer service and was very patient with my questions about the cheesecakes after he helped me I noticed the next person he helped was very rude to him and even accused him of being sarcastic as from what I recalled he just greeted them saying “oh you’re back for more welcome back” they seem to have taken that the wrong way but I would of actually felt grateful someone remembered me from a previous visit. I felt so bad for how he was treated and I see secret dior might be that person since they came to write the bad review of Joe, you should be ashamed of yourself, The cheesecake was great he recommended Oreo and ube, I definitely will be going back for more thank you Joe! Keep up the great work!
