We’ve been here 7 years from Vegas and never went to Mulligans (no particular reason tho) and then someone posted in SC Life that Mulligans had the best burgers in town - so we each tried one. OMG - change that rating to the best burgers in the World, absolutely to die for, excellent quality of beef, huge, juice and numerous add-ons. They were so excellent - we went back 2 days later! Best gem for burgers and beer!

Best burgers in town, maybe all of OC. Staff and patrons are friendly, many TVs for all manner of sports, and a surprisingly good art collection on the walls.

Cool pub with an Irish vibe, hence the name.I LOVE the fresh-made pineapple habanero sauce they typically use for wings, but I like to eat it on the french fries. They do good burgers if you’re into eating cows. If you have a nice dog he can join the fun too. They have a patio and about a billion televisions for all the sports lovers. There’s a juke box with an eclectic choice of tunes and all the bartenders and staff have always been very nice. You could even win some cash playing number games and they also have board games and books by the pool tables.

It's a dive but better than expected, specifically the food was better. It has a pool table and also has this thing where you can download an app and use your phone to pick the Jukebox songs which I found kind of cool. But then again maybe that's in every bar nowadays since I haven't been in a bar in many years.

Dive bar with unsuspectingly great food! Gotta try the homemade tortilla chips and salsa. Animal burger is off the charts. Drink prices are reasonable.

Burgers were really good, but it was a SAUNA in there! Open the windows, turn the air on, do something. We couldn’t wait to finish eating and get out of there.

Mulligans has everything you want in a bar. 2 separate sections for pool tables, they make one pool table a pingpong table upon request, and have delicious food! Be prepared to wait a while if you're ordering on the weekend nights! They have a back patio and allow me to bring both my non service dogs in with me inside and out. The pub people are very friendly and like to mingle with every one else. Is great!

Great local spot for drinks, burgers and free pool. Had half a burger and 5 hours later, still full. Great burger and fries! Also they've got free pool tables which is awesome 👍

Terrific food ... Definitely one of the best burgers in South County. Calvin at the bar provides Terrific service and the beer is always served nice and cold

Free pool on six tables, crunchy yummy french fries, chill staff, mixed aged crowd = hassle-free fun! There's plenty more from the grill-style menu and can get a lil crowded on weekend but that's to be expected given the sweet beach locale.

Fun spot in San Clemente. Had the bacon burger special and opted for blue cheese. It comes with a serving of fries, but I subbed onions rings for +$2. Cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The bartenders were nice, but Kendall by far exceeded all expectations. She was very outgoing and kept checking on us at ladies night out after we scared off the male bartender with big muscles when one of the ladies in my party flirted with him.

I'm sober and I had a ton of fun. Free pool and $2 soda, what more can you ask for if you're staying sober and still having fun with your best friends? I used to come here all the time in my early 20s and would get absolutely hammered. They have upgraded it significantly in the last 7-9 years. There's booths and nice tables. There's tons of board games, and they still have the ping-pong attachment for the pool tables. They have at Least 6 pool tables and they've been refelted since I last came here 8 years ago. They also added a full patio to what was previously a crammed outdoor smoking section. They have always had great staff.

Great local San Clemente spot. The staff is really friendly. The food is pub fare, but on another level, delicious and well presented. The burgers and wings are amazing. Lots of screens to watch sports and free pool tables. Definitely a place you need to check out.

I've been going to this bar for 20+ years.. Same ol "dive bar" it's always been! But that's what I love about it.. No pressure.. no pretences.. just walk on in and grab a drink, maybe some munchies (mozzarella sticks are awesome!) and sit and chat or play a few games of pool. Pool tables are free btw.. Wide mix of patrons - most of them locals to San Clemente or the surrounding cities - and you can usually strike up a conversation with just about anyone there.. or join them in a game of pool or 2.

I've never ordered food here I didn't like. You can tell Mulligans takes pride in their kitchen - it sets them apart from other bars. I ordered the Shelley burger on my last visit, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The fries were seasoned, which was a delightful surprise. It was incredibly filling. I did not partake in pool, as I was there for the game, but there is free pool there everyday of the week. I believe they have 6 tables, so it is always accommodating. There's also a patio that allows you to enjoy a drink and a smoke simultaneously. I've been going there about 10 years, and I've never had a bad time.

Have eaten there many times. Always superb food and service. Last night 7/16/22.My girlfriend and I ordered Patty melts. Mild case of food poisoning in about an hour... Maybe do a food check.

One of the best bar in san Clemente. Nice environment. You can play ping pong and pools. They have several Pool table. Great place for hangout.

A few years ago, I searched the web for “best burgers in OC”…Mulligans was high on the list. I went, then my wife and I went, and since then I’ve brought friends from around the country….Because they are the best burgers around here. A real humble bar with nothing fancy except the food.

I’m giving this bar five stars because it is supposed to be a dive bar and you can’t take stars away for it being only what it is meant to be. That said, this place is cool. It’s down in the industrial park away from the chaos of the triangle in San Clemente. The drinks are fair, there are plenty of food tables, and they serve some food, not much but what they do serve is good
