Great hotel! The front desk staff and restaurant staff were awesome. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel virtually every week for over a year. The air conditioners are so old that you’ll be lucky to find one that actually cycles on and off instead of constantly blowing. If you have sinus trouble this isn’t the hotel for you. They don’t service rooms unless you ask them which is very inconvenient! The restaurant staff in the morning is one of the reasons I stay. They are unbelievably professional and friendly. One would think that a frequent resident could request a specific room and have staff reserve it repeatedly. I’ve done this literally for decades at lesser hotels without issue. Instead, I have to spin the wheel every week and hope that I get a decent room. Only because it is 3 minutes from where I work I stay there. If you’re a casual guest, I would look elsewhere.

Eva and Sochi are my s-heroes! After an unreasonably difficult experience at the Marriott SpringHill Suites down the road, I made a change on the fly (9pm Friday night) to this property. I recieved a lovely & very helpful greeting at the desk from Eva, my room was upgraded and given the top floor, and Sochi in housekeeping very quickly helped with my feather-free bedding needs. By 9:30pm I was settled in and very comfortable. After dealing with an already long day & a family loss, the hospitality at the Doubletree was so welcomed. The rooms are updated & clean, and mine even has a gym built in! I will definitely choose this property for future stays when I am in the area.

The guy that checked us in was cold and neglected to give us a welcome cookie. The bartender was a delightful woman who I think made our Saturday evening. She was personable and made our stay worthwhile. The room was comfortable and tastefully furnished. The location is within walking distance of many fine restaurants. I would come visit the bar or the local restaurants but I would probably not stay here because of the staff at the front desk.

Nothing spectacular about the room, just nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, when we woke up in the morning someone had broken into our car and stole a backpack out. They cracked the back side window. Another car in the back parking garage on the second level had been broken into as well. Back window cracked open. All kinds of baseball equipment had been thrown out of the SUV but not taken. We didn't look on the first level to see if any other cars had been broken into. They really should have a security guard. It's almost as if they had all the time in the world to look at all the cars and break into two cars without anyone noticing. If you have to park there do not leave anything valuable in the cars. Or don't leave anything visible that would look like it has anything of value. The room was nice. It is spacious and has a nice desk area to work at. A/C works. No bath tub, but shower was fine. There was a mini fridge but no microwave.

This hotel will not allow you pay for an early check in if you book on a travel site or phone app like hotels now or Travelocity or Priceline. So beware booking here and expecting to get an early check in. Do not book here if driving into to California from another state unless it is after 1pm or you will be left in your car sleeping for 6 hours like me today. They also will not allow you to upgrade your room to get an early check in. They punish you if you do not book directly through them. I’m actually scared to see what room I will be getting once I’m allowed to check in. There’s only one room in the whole hotel for people who book through a third party , kind of scary !

No housekeeping service unless requested. For a Hilton branded hotel that should be automatic. Went to desk clerk and he gave us towels but hotel didn’t have any wash cloths. No free breakfast. For the money spent there wasn’t a lot of perks in this hotel. Very disappointing. You would think with the name Hilton in your name the standards would be a bit higher. The Best Western I was at near Disneyland offered all that you don’t and more with better rates. We won’t be back

The registrar Isaac is very thorough and professional. Isaac makes you feel welcome, and he is courteous. Thank you, Isaac, for being an incredible person.

Upon checking in the front desk was more concerned about my service animal then, actually telling me about the location she didn’t give me any description on how to get to my room or where to park or what does facility has and I called ahead to make sure service animals were OK cause I know it’s sometimes an issue but yet I was greeted with the opposite effect. Got up to the room. The room smells really badly like mildew. 😩

We had a great experience here and was well worth the price. Double Tree has held a steady standard of quality throughout the years and we stick with them and are rarely disappointed

Although the rooms needed better maintenance, the staff (Isaac & Arturo) were very kind and welcoming. The location is also perfect for parent/family visiting their children at Cal State Fullerton.

Rooms were very spartan by Hilton standards. There was no towel hanging hook or bar near the shower. The countertop in the bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable! Breakfast was not included, and a cup of coffee was $3. That's the first hotel in the USA that hasn't offered a breakfast that I have encountered in three years! The breakfast bar didn't open until 6:30 AM, so we went elsewhere. In the future I will select a different chain in this area!

As with most hiltons. Great staff and room were well maintained. Didn't try any of the food.

Imelda (restaurant) makes breakfast enjoyable. She's very attentive. It really makes a difference in service when She's not there. Also, Eva from the front desk always makes us feel welcome and appreciated.

Nice little Hilton property right off the freeway, easy to access. Was not aware of $50 per night safety deposit until checkin, as it is not listed anywhere on the website or any of the reservations emails and confirmations. So that was a slight bummer.

It was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and responsive. It has a nice parking structure, restaurant and gym. I really enjoyed my stay.

Check in was easy, staff was very accommodating, I have health issues which allow me a service dog, staff was very understanding and treated my dog with respect and care. The bartender came and brought my dog some cold water to drink, which I thought was very sweet! Room was beautiful! Perfect! Best sleep I have had in weeks! Beds are heaven! Very clean rooms and great staff make for a 5 star review. I found my new fave local hotel! Thank you Doubletree for treating us so kindly.

Unfortunately, I had to change rooms. When we checked in Room 402 smelled like meadow, it was extremely bad instantly flared my sinus badly. We changed rooms and Room 502 bedroom smelled like meadow and the water from the rain that hit the window leaked into the room on the carpet. I expressed this at check out and the Front Desk Attendant said the manager would call me when she got in (at that time in 20-30 minutes) no call received in which I requested to be comped some discount for this experience...nothing was done after reporting the same issue during check out. The soaking tub is the best amenity in the room and it is quiet so that made it nice. The meadow smell was not pleasing and made it hard to get rest.

No luggage cart and no bellman. The food was good for a small restaurant just a little slow. Don't be too busy for something fast. Smoker's were right by entrance, the smell was harendus. You might as well be joining them. The cleaning ladies were great always accommodating ready to be helpful .

My husband and I arrived at this location after having been at a Hilton Garden Inn in Calabasas for two nights. After the way we were treated at the HGI we were most definitely considering dropping our long standing relationship with Hilton Hotels. We did not feel valued as people, guests or Hilton Honor members. See my review about that property for further details. We did arrive at this property prior to the 4 pm stated check in time without having to pay the extra $75 (like we were told at the HGI) Needless to say we did not have any high hopes or expectations when we arrived at this location. Our impression and opinions of Hilton Hotels was completely reversed due to one individual who definitely made us feel valued as people, guests and Hilton Honor members. That was the front desk clerk TONY. He went so far out of his way to make us feel welcomed and I observed him treating other guests in the very same manner. TONY is an asset to the Hilton Hotel brand. The people at the HGI Calabasas could and should take lessons from TONY on how to treat guests. Our thoughts about dropping our commitment to the Hilton Hotel chain was changed due to the way we were treated and respected by TONY.

This is an unusual Doubletree in that it is sort of small and doesn’t have all the usual amenities. But what it lacks in amenities, it makes up for with cleanliness, a modern look, and great staff. It’s been a great stay so far.

I chose to stay at the Double Tree due to my college graduation the next morning being in close proximity to the hotel. I thought it would be less stressful to prepare and get ready close by the location. The graduation was at 8:00 am and the electricity went out in my room around 6:30 am, making it impossible to get ready. We were not afforded any accomodations or even recommendations even though the electricity was not out in all of the hotel. It ruined the morning and caused a lot of stress. Upon check out, the front desk attendant informed me that she would be speaking to the manager about a comp or credit. When I called the next day, the supervisor told me that since it wasn't Double Tree's fault the electricity went out, they would not be issuing me a comp or credit. It doesn't matter if it's Double Tree's fault. I paid for a service and it wasn't provided. The rate of the room included electricty, thus I did not get the full value of my room/stay. The staff was very unprofessional and unprepared for something like this to happen.

The room was very expensive. When I asked for extra coffee packets for the room the attendant said they had no more and I would need to order from the restaurant. I said a hotel this large and no extra coffee? She said we have decaf. The guy behind her said let me go look in the back, 5 minutes later he came back with 2' packets. This is only an example of how rude and unhelpful the staff was. For $250 a night you would think they would have more professional service.

I used my brand new corporate credit card to check into this hotel and within hours I had $1600 worth of unauthorized charges on my account. I requested the General Manager contact me multiple times by speaking with various members of the front desk to make them aware of the situation and never even received a phone call back. I had not used that credit card anywhere else or attached to any online profile so I know my card was compromised here. Ridiculous to not even receive the courtesy of a return phone call to discuss my concerns.

Only two housekeepers for the whole hotel. Check-in was 3-4 hours late so I had to find something to do for those hours for the whole family. I got an email at 3p saying I could start my virtual check in so we were pretty surprised when we got to the hotel that there was a long line of people being told their rooms weren’t ready. Also called for blankets, pillows, and towels because the room was under stocked. They never showed up, assuming due to low staffing. Room was otherwise clean and well kept.

Very clean, good service, easy to find. Parking is free but it's best to unload at the front door because there is no elevator from the garage to the hotel. We didn't try the bar or restaurant, so I can't give you any info on that. Very convenient location to Angel stadium and Orange Plaza, yet away from the Disneyland crowds. We would stay here again.
