2 stars for the surrounding area. 0 stars for sloppy-can’t-be-bothered service and for the absolute disappointment that the venue has become. Used to visit often with family and annual overseas clients and the menu along with the quality of food was incredible, the ambience was perfectly suited. Now they just do sub standard over priced pizza. Such a shame about this place now, won’t be going back or recommending anymore.

What can one say about pure perfection.... Tucked away from the main routes lies this absolute jewel of a place in the overberg. Hands down some of the most delicious pizzas I have ever had. With cool crisp wines and friendly service this was a highlight of our travel. Well Done to an amazing team.

Really disappointing. We went there for lunch with overseas visitors but left as it was clear that BOC was not really open for our business. Short staffed. No draught beer and a slew of excuses as to why they couldn’t provide a reasonable standard of service and Product offer. We then went to the Birkenhead Brewery & Walker Bay Wines. Well worth it. Excellent tapas and both good beer and wines.

Great place to land and Eat! It’s got good pizza options and is a lovely area to land and come eat! Recommended for Pilots: make sure you land further up the runway on the dirt bit, the green bit of the runway is rather bumpy…

A big let down. The sevice was poor, tables dirty, platters were not available and the wine tasting experience was the worst I have had. This is DIY kinda place.

Beautiful layout of the farmhouse. Very good service. Had a lovely fresh ciabatta bread with cheese to soak the alcohol from our 5 wine tasters.

Nice place, offering wine tasting and sales. Need to book beforehand. Had the craft beer from Fraser Folly brewery which used to be located there. But now the brewery temporarily closed. No dogs allowed.

We enjoyed a fantastic wine tasting out on the deck. They have amazing white wines, complex and unique on the nose and then bursting with flavour from the first sip. I highly recommend visiting.

We did a wine tasting here and stayed at one of their cottages. Their wines were very good and interesting and we enjoyed the tasting as we were the only ones late afternoon and the guy had more time for us. We also loved our stay in the cottage. It was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you needed for a braai (including wood, utensil, firestarter, matches) and also with an electric cooking plate if you'd like to cook. Bed was king size and comfortable, with a little heater in the bedroom. Views were beautiful with lots of birds around. What I also liked is that you can take herbs and veggies from the garden to use for your meal, which was super convenient and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here and tasting their wines!

Real cold and wet winters day and we thought it would be the right place for a hearty breakfast. What a disappointment...no fire in the fire place. "Sorry sir our coffee machine is broken! We can serve you instant coffee, but we don't do breakfast!" The day was not right for a picnic brunch and wine tasting. Maybe the venue could be better in summer, but pass in winter and take a breakfast else where!

Lovely wine-tasting experience at a beautiful venue with exceptional staff. A great day trip idea from Stanford.

An amazing experience! The food platters were huge and incredibly delicious. Dirk and his team offers excellent service and the surroundings are breathtaking. Well worth the visit and we will definitely return.

Excellent Service and Restaurant. Best Pizzas 🍕 we have had since moving to the Western Cape. Will be visiting soon.

Lovely setting, great pizzas, obviously a selection of their wines and craft beers. Take your time if you go in the busy season, pick something to snack on in the deli and enjoy the experience. The wood fired pizzas are made to order and can take a while, but are worth the wait.

Lovely outing with friends to this beautiful venue. Wine great as always. Our first time to try the new pizza menu. The pizza's are delicious, thin crispy bases with high quality ingredient toppings. Each of the 8 pizzas we orders was a hit. My kids enjoyed an after lunch swim in the pool.
