This was a very nice place to visit, they had a farmers market that is on the first Sunday of each month. There were a wide variety of tasting beverages, unfortunately we missed out on it. They also sell a wide variety of these products. They also have a restaurant and farmstall. We sat and ate lunch and it was delicious and the vibe was lovely. There was someone playing guitar and in another corner someone playing piano. We definitely want to visit again.

They are open on Sundays. Visited the shop, the market stalls at the back, the winery and sat down for something to eat in the restuarant. It was a great experience and the food was excellent.

My wife, son and I had a very pleasant experience here about 2 weeks and 2 days ago. The staff were indeed helpful and friendly! The wine tasting experience was second to none!! I've bought 2 cases and 16 bottles of mixed wines, grape juice, brandy and muscadel. Still enjoying it pretty much. Thank You! I was a very commendable experience. * * * * * * * 7 STARS

Stunning spot to stop for a coffee or get some wine or gifts. The staff are super knowledgeable about their products and the gin tasting was incredible.

A lovely moment spent there. We enjoyed their breakfast, enjoyed the animals. If you are an animal lover: Fanie the pig, chickens and cats. They have so many options to select from in the shop. It is gifts, wines, goodies for the home. Definitely a must go and experience.

I arrived 20 minutes before closing time, so the kitchen was already closed, but the staff was in no rush for you to leave so that they can get home - it was such a nice experience! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, not over-bearing at all. It is a huge space, with arts and crafts, plants, wines, liqueurs, etc. The wine is nicely organised together in different wine farm areas, with some barrels that contain special wines for sale. Give yourself enough time to browse through the premises. There are also various tasting options: wine, liqueurs and muscadel. Outside they have a lot of seating space and place for children to play.

We searched for a wine tasting place in Robertson but 99% of the places were closed (a Sunday) - so we ended up here and had a good wine tasting with a small platter. The meat on the platter wasn't to our taste but everything else was good and the staff are warm & friendly. They also do tastings for gin and other types of alcohol, and have a great wine shop. Also an interesting gift shop at the entrance. Definitely a place that's worth a visit.

Wide selection of wines, gifts and art. Friendly welcoming staff, with delicious food! Beautiful place. We had a Bacon, locally made cheese with basil pesto on homebaked sourdough bread - amazing!

My daughter is absolutely crazy for steam locomotives so I would stop anyway. What a pleasant surprise that on top of being a nice market and shop the food is delicious and the staff the best, best service and steak we have had coming from the garden route. The pizza also delicious. Mandatory stop! Ps: it was pouring outside so we couldn’t enjoy with the kids, but I saw there’s chicken feeding and a huge space to play.

Wonderful support of the local wine farmers and wine estates, big or small. Lovely kids play area with some farm animals. Also purchase of home decor items and processed hides. A small restaurant with deli items for sale.

A very popular padstal on the main road through Ashton. Offers a massive selection of wines. Has a nursery, shop and restaurant as well. Seating inside and outside. Food is good and reasonably priced. Lots of parking. Place for the kids to stretch their legs in the garden.

😠 The birds are in barren cages with no enrichment other than a perch. So depressing. I thought these bird prisons had been phased out years ago. Don't go there if you like birds as it will break your heart.

😐 One of the rare spots where public still has direct access to the Breede river in a beautiful setting. A basic menu, with well prepared and reasonably priced food. Huge potential for improving on what is already a good experience.

👍👍 Absolutely incredible place to visit. The staff are friendly and helpful and spending time interacting with the donkies (under the watchful eye of a staff member) is a great way to spend some time. The coffee shop has some tasty treats to round out the visit.
