Most welcoming ambience. Great location - a stone's throw and around the corner from the beach. Host and hostess are hand's on and uber hospitable. Worth another visit.

Long before arriving they already reached out to make sure that my arrival will be well met and everything that is needed from an administrative point will be dealt with already so that I can focus on my stay instead. Before arrival, I'd already received the food menu for dinner to place an early order via WhatsApp. I checked in, and all I needed to do was sign, and drop off my luggage (for which I was asked if I needed help offloading). The owners are very welcoming and informative about the activities in the nearby areas. The rooms are immaculate! Great bed size, modern bathrooms with amazing water pressure, and in my case I even had my own private little garden. During supper time I did not have to wait for the food, my table was already set and the food was as good as placed on my table already. The bar is stocked with ample variety. Breakfast is more than you can eat (or should be eating) and everything was fresh. The ambient music was delightful and a key takeaway from the stay is that in most other even 4-star hotels you get horrible sachet coffees with kettles that taste like plastic, but not here. Here you are treated with great quality Nespresso and a Nespresso machine in each room. Some coming here might find the lack of TV in the room an issue. In my case, I would give it an extra star beyond 5 if I could because of this. When you come to a place such as Arniston to experience the place and the people therein, a TV should be the last thing on your mind. And if you REALLY need to watch something, there's always the free WiFi allowing you to enjoy your own Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or whatever. The one critique if I HAD to would be the milk option in the bedroom. They provide these tiny almost diamond shape long-life milk containers or coffee creamer. Because there is a fridge in the room it would've been nice to have a mug of fresh milk as an option. I understand the extra implications that would have on managing each room's milk and probably why they use what they use and therefore I can't even deduct a star from the review. And I'm sure if it is early enough in the evening and asked for some fresh milk they would provide some. All I can say is Good Job, Keep It Up! And I hope to visit here soon, perhaps with my wife next time.

I just recently stayed at the Blue Sky Arniston Guest House for my second weekend in the last 2 months - it's the perfect getaway from the city! The Guest House is beautiful, the staff are amazing & I truly felt at home! Arniston is such a lovely town & there's great options of things to do in the area - we went to Strandweld wine farm & enjoyed a lovely tasting of their wines. I also had a great swim in the sea, despite it being the cooler months in South Africa, Arniston has much warmer water & Roman beach is so beautiful! I would highly recommend Blue Sky Arniston Guest House if you're looking for a great guest house with friendly staff & a place to call home away from home when you're in Arniston - they also have a lovely bar with a fantastic whisky selection! :)

Everything about our weekend at BlueSky Arniston Guest House exceeded expectations. The room (no.2) have high ceilings, creating the feeling of space, Egyptian cotton, Nespresso coffee pods, a bath and a private courtyard. We had two dinners and two breakfast at the guesthouse, and the food was simply excellent. They have a cozy and welcoming common area and a very well stocked bar. We felt at home and comfortable and can recommend the guest house to anyone.

Amazing place & an absolute recommendation! There’s really not a single thing we would have changed! Such a cute and comfy house with cosy rooms, lovely host, and a delicious breakfast! From the first second on, we felt at home and had such a great time. Definitely considering to come again once we’re on our way back :)

A truly delightful guesthouse managed by a truly delightful couple Adrian andJill, with daughter Lauren (haven't met but answered all my tel queries pronto). The rooms are spacious, very visit comfortable and thoughtfully decorated to meet your every need. Although we just stayed 3 days, it's a place we would not hesitate to visit again, and again. Even received a tour of Arniston for free, from the knowledgeable Adrian. Awesome experience.

The rooms were suitably furnished and matched the web site pictures which was a surprise. The only comment was that access to the majority of the rooms was shared via a rather small courtyard – which did on occasion impact privacy. The small 2m x 2m plunge pool was also in the courtyard which also impacted privacy. Our hostess, Jill, was pleasant, accommodating, mature, polite and informative on our welcome. Unfortunately this disposition didn’t apply to her husband which was a disappointment. The coffee bar in the room was not adequately replenished with sugars, milk, coffee, etc. on both days. Did find it rather inconvenient when required to place a dinner order by 14h00 for example. Would I stay there again? No! Thank you.

The owners really know how to make you feel at home. Nice rooms, good service and friendly personnel. It is obvious that Adrian has a wealth of experience in hospitality. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Restaurant and breakfast great as well. Adrian was very flexible and accommodating to our specific needs and wishes.

A real gem of a place and fantastic hosts Adrian and Jill. Their are 6 double ensuite rooms that are very well equipped. Although no TV's in the rooms their is an upstairs lounge that has a TV with full DSTV bouquet. The bar is very well stocked and drinks well priced. The wife and I will definitely be making a return visit.

Love love loved Blue Sky. The hosts Adrian and Jill couldn't have been nicer. It was the highlight of our trip. Best decision we made was to eat dinner as well. What a feast

What a wonderful experience. Adrian, Jill and the staff were awesome. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are wonderful, TV lounge and reading room, games, sitting at the fire in the cold rainy weather. Food is awesome. The floods caused us to be isolated in the town for two days and I couldn't think of a better place to be. Warm, friendly, kind ... I will be going back!
