Fabulous spacious rooms, that are beautiful decorated. Swimming pool is great for swimming laps. Gardens well maintained and staff are professional and very helpful. Honesty bar is well stocked. Falling asleep with the rumble of the ocean is so relaxing. A must visit.

We loved our stay at the Chateau de Marine. It's a gorgeously-decorated hotel in the southernmost region of South Africa. The owners were warm and hospitable and have created a gorgeous boutique hotel along this southern coast. It's steps way from a tiny beach cove, minutes from town and a truly beautiful bed and breakfast. You'll love this stylish hotel.

Our stay was definitely worth the money spent, professional and friendly staff and owner, breakfast was very good, rooms bright and airy, awesome seaviews from the bedrooms and lounge areas, great massage facilities on the premises By professional therapists. There are some lovely restaurants and sightseeing places to visit in Stuisbaai and Cape Aghulas

The establishment was good. Welcoming staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bit of an issue with hot water. Gets too hot then goes cool again. But all in all thank you for the accommodation.

Great place, one of the best in the area. Huge clean rooms, lovely staff, and the hidden gem is the upstairs lounge / bar area overlooking the ocean, great seats and an honesty bar. Nothing else in the area comes close, and the price is very reasonable. Thank you.

Great manager and staff, great room, great mattress, quiet, right by the ocean, excellent breakfast. Call them before booking via a platform, they often are prepared to give you better conditions.

Booked a room at the last minute and Suzanne from Chateau de Marine didn't hesitate to help me, even at such a late hour, the service and breakfast was excellent! Would definitely recommend this to any traveller.

Friendly staff and conveniently close to restaurants. Beautiful ocean views from the hotel. The only issues were the dirty bedding and faulty warm water in the shower. However, this is a great spot if you're doing a Garden Route trip and need to sleep over to explore Cape Agulhas and Struisbaai 😊
