Arniston is a small seaside fishing village with an interesting history, perfect for a quick getaway from the city life to enjoy with some friends. Dont expect lots of activity, other than exploring nature and enjoying the fresh air from walks on the beach to climbing some sand dunes or visiting the cave at low tide. The Arniston Hotel and other accommodation is available in the area. The traditional fishing harbour is interesting when there is activity. The fisher community Kassiesbaai is a national heritage area and has some beautiful friendly people always greeting and making you feel welcome.

We had such a fantastic stay in 16 on main. The house was so spacious and so nicely decorated making us feel like we were at home. the bedrooms and beds are so comfortable with lovely linen. everything was spotless and the kitchen is so well equipped. We will definately be going back. Arniston is a beautiful part of the world and a trip to Cape Aghulus and the Arniston Cave is a must.

Wow, beautiful! The service is above expectations. This is a place to go with your family and simply have a ball.

What a place! Perfect for relaxing & disconnecting... So isolated that it doesn't even have a fuel station which is perfect if you want to unwind & enjoy a real beach holiday! There is a local "fishing village" which still maintains traditional castings; very interesting. Arniston for the win!

What an awesome place to visit if you enjoy angling from the shore. We visit arniston at least once a year. Wish it could be more. Etnas has over 50 self catering places to stay at very reasonable prices and great service. A little paradise

Great acomidation for a big group it's close to the beach and has an outside braai, but it is quite a drive to the nearest grocery store.

Great location and facilities. The lack of maintenance is evident. When you pay over R2000 per night you expect the taps to work and holes in doors to be fixed. Wooden bench around the kitchen sink is rotting away. Kitchen tap is totally loose. Too many items to name. Cockroach in the one shower. Furthermore the fish hook decorations next to the fire place is absurd. My 12 year old daughter slipped and ended up with a fishhook with rotten worm still attached in her hand. We had to drive to Bredasdorp to find a doctor after hours to remove it. All the owner said was I am sorry, Not recommended at all.

😐 Typical municipal campsite. No shade. Gets very windy. The beach is a blue flag beach so it is amazing to swim in. There are no braai facilities, so bring your own. Bathrooms are ok. You need your own toilet paper. You need the caravan plug to plug in the electric box.

🫀 2 stars for the surrounding area. 0 stars for sloppy-can’t-be-bothered service and for the absolute disappointment that the venue has become. Used to visit often with family and annual overseas clients and the menu along with the quality of food was incredible, the ambience was perfectly suited. Now...
