What a great little spot! Clean, good coffee and fantastic menu! It is clean, friendly service and not expensive at all! Will definitely recommend their cookies and jams 😋

What a great place to stop for coffee or something to eat!! We had breakfast and dinner at this eatery, which was very tasty. They also sell preserves and home-made biscuits. Highly recommended👍

Popped in here after exploring small town Elim for a coffee and milk tart. A nice small coffee shop with some local products inside the shop. The lady owner was very friendly. Yhe homemade Milk tart was good, quite a solid Milk Tart, different from the normal Milk Rart we normally eat in Cape Town which is softer version, but it taste quite good!

I only had opportunity to stop in for a take away coffee, but also picked up some pickled onions and coconut jam tarts. I'll definitely be back to sit down and try something from the menu. The 4 stars is for the friendly warm welcome, the beautiful location and the coconut cookies.

Visited it with foreign friends and are happy we did. Clean, great coffee, lovely scon and lovely background music. I wish I could tip like these foreigners.

We want to stop for tea, because it was ice cold. The coffe shop was closed. Then we left for the museum, what a well kept place, at the museum we told the lady we want to had tea, but the coffee shop is closed. She phoned the owner and told her we need something warm. She open for us, and she service us with hot drinks and a warm scones, beautiful decorated with jam and cream

Awesome service and great coffee!

Lovely breakfast and very friendly service. Carl and Madelein are very hospitable. Carl took the time to share some interesting background and information about Elim, the church, the people, the village, their joys and their challenges. Madelein also provided supper at the guest rooms opposite the church. Best soup I've ever tasted.

Really enjoyed our tea and coffee stop off hosted by Madelein. Simple and satisfying time spent getting a feel of the Elim atmosphere and the special touch that you get at Maakitd Mooi Coffee shop. We'll definitely stop by again when next in Elim.
