Don't be deceived by the small discreet nature of this lovely little restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely and charming. I had a delicious mushroom soup to start with some amazing Cerignola olives, followed by a delicious Arabiata with Nduja. Really enjoyable and very tasty. I was full but had to finish.

Fantastic, fresh, tasty Italian rarities and indigenous italian roots this all made that our lunch was unforgettable. I really recommend LaPiola and we will come back to this place in the future.

Went for lunch on the weekend and had the best pizza I’ve ever had! Food is very authentic and service is amazing. Would recommend visiting!

THERE IS A PLACE LIKE HOME!!! Recently, my family and I went to La Piola, and I have to admit that the food was excellent. Anyone looking for the ideal authentic Italian restaurant in Leeds should definitely check out this place; the hospitality is truly one of a kind. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are perfect too. 😋👍

Proper Italian restaurant, handmade pasta, I mean pretty much everything handmade… The owner is the only person doing all kind of stuff (front and back of house), and he has done a great job. He is super nice and friendly. It is a lovely cosy restaurant, and would love to go back again next time!!!

I absolutely love this Italian restaurant. I made a booking through the app Fork which gave me some discount on the dinner because I’m still a student. The pasta and pizza was super fresh and the ingredients, flavours was amazing. The host is extremely friendly, accommodating and engages in conversation easily. I took his recommendations for dinner and it was really amazing. The interior decor is plain and simple, classic and clean. Overall I had an amazing time here. It’s like little Italy in Leeds.

This is an amazing Italian deli, with authentic Italian produce. Great, authentic Italian coffee, the panino was excellent and the cannoli are so tasty. Great value for money and a very cosy place. Fabio was so heartwarming, welcoming and so attentive with his customers. I wholeheartedly reccomend this place! PS. Good place to get your Buondi and other Italian produce.

Must try if you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine!! We ordered a mushroom soup, Parma ham with buffalo mozzarella and shrimp pasta- the shrimp pasta is a hidden dish that’s not on the menu. The mushroom soup was really mushroomy and creamy, portion of the pizza was BIG and crunchy and the shrimps were really fresh, there’s also a tinge of wine that you can taste from the pasta. The owner of the store was also really friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with him.

I had breakfast there and everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. The owner was really friendly and helpful in suggestions on what to order. I ordered a Palma ham and mozzarella panini to take home for my wife and she said it was delicious. I will definitely return when I'm back in the area.

What a fantastic little hidden gem. The best italian food I've eaten in leeds. The staff were fantastic and the owner was so lovely. Couldn't fault it at all. Will be back next time where in Leeds.

Authentic Italian restaurant. Dishes are well curated and the ingredients are fresh and rigorously Italian (apparently). The boss is very friendly and kind. The place is a little small but I think it contributes to The atmosphere of being a small Italian corner restaurant, which is suggestive. Definitely recommended, prices are relatively high but fair for the quality of the products.

The food was soooo delicious and authentic, especially the pistachio pasta, can’t say enough how much I like it, and so was the coffee. The owner was really lovely and welcoming.

Absolutely amazing!! I ordered the pasta with pesto, but I got the impression that i could have ordered anything on the menu and it would have been excellent. It was some of the best italian food I’ve had in my life, there’s a clear focus on high quality ingredients and attention to detail with menu design. I would echo what others have said that there’s something for everyone regardless of dietary restrictions. The owner is friendly and clearly cares about the food. Get onto the La Piola wave now before it’s got a crazy waitlist in a few years :)

We had a great brunch at La Piola - delicious coffee and paninis, all freshly made with the best ingredients. Fabio is so warm and welcoming and provided excellent service. Hope to come back to try the dinner menu soon! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian food, drink and hospitality!

La Piola is absolutely wonderful! Fabio is so welcoming and the Food is incredible. Leeds was really missing a spot like this so I’m really glad he decided to open his doors here. I had the gnocchi with pesto and it was honestly amazing - and the wine selection is great.

Genuinely one of the best and most authentic pizzas I have ever tasted! You have to try La Piola if you’re in Leeds as the food, service and atmosphere are exemplary.

Can’t rate this little business enough! Very friendly & attentive staff from the minute we walked in. Delicious, authentic Italian food served fresh from the kitchen, in the cosiest space. Fabio and the staff really went out of their way (quite literally) to make sure my fiancé had a his favourite dessert on his 30th birthday. The effort by all the team really shows, we will definitely be back!
