Over last few days, I’ve attended numerous classes both 101 & 201 (Striking and Ju-Jitsu) I’ve found the coaches Abdul & Elliott extremely professional In 101 they’re both able to simplify the classes and competently demonstrate the drills so everyone can perform and understand. In the 201 the same applies. As someone who is very shy & naturally introverted - I’ve often been too scared to attend classes or socialise with others. This isn’t the case with Wayferer academy. The staff and coaches are friendly, easy to approach & welcome questions.

High-quality coaches with competitive MMA-Jiu Jitsu experience and top facilities. Training partners are humble, and there are several pro and amateur MMA fighters that you can learn from, which is good if you want to increase the intensity of sparring. Everyone respects each other, leaving the ego outside of the academy, which makes it an amazing place to learn, improve, and develop as fighters and as people. It is definitely worth it to come and try.

No details anywhere of how much the memberships are on the website. Does that mean they’re expensive and likely £100+ per month?

10/10 coaching for all levels and a clear structure for progression. No egos and a great community. Abdul is an elite level head coach and a great mentor for all things MMA - expect top quality metaphors during training. Highly recommend a session at WFA. 🙌

The beginners program is one of the best experiences I've ever had, I liked mma for a long time but this course allowed me to truly love it by giving me the perfect glimpse into the world of training. Whether it's the highly skilled instructors, the amazing quality and care for all training equipment or the perfect environment they have created to help encourage growth. I personally couldn't find a way to fault Wayfarer Academy or my course and would recommend it to anyone of any skill level to try.

The coaching line-up and facilities are world-class. A community-like environment that will benefit anybody, from every walk. Combat sports can be daunting, but the coaches make the effort to put individuals at ease, whilst maximizing the potential of skill development. High character standard set by the coaches/staffs created the rippling effect of a fun and professional atmosphere. Good level of hygiene. This place, is a lifestyle.

This gym is amazing for anyone that wants to train, whether it’s beginners or professionals. One of the best things is that it has a gym downstairs and training mats upstairs which makes life much easier! The coaches are well experienced and really care about the individuals training in the gym. And as for the team itself, no egos and great family-like atmosphere! Recommend to everyone!

This is an amazing gym. My partner initially joined the gym and after hearing how much he enjoyed it we signed our son up to the summer camp he absolutely loved it. From here we really found out what a real family atmosphere the gym is. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. From here we signed up my son full time and then my daughter for the teens class. They both love their sessions and are thriving. I couldn’t recommend the coaches enough. A gym I would encourage anyone to attend. Thank you for all the support and hard work you put in for everyone.

Not even been open a year yet and it feels like every month since they've opened, the gym gets better. Whether it's the facilities, classes or all round experience of the gym they've not stopped at improving everything they can. The atmosphere is so welcoming not just from the coaches but all the members that attend that you can't help feel lifted up after each visit. Wayfarer Academy has got to be pushing for the best MMA gym in Manchester already, excited to see where they'll be a year from now!

I recently had the pleasure of joining the Wayfarer Academy in Manchester, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The staff and instructors at Wayfarer Academy are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about helping beginners like me succeed. They took the time to explain the fundamentals of MMA and ensured that I felt comfortable every step of the way. Whether you're a complete novice or have some experience, their patient approach and willingness to answer questions make all the difference. What truly sets Wayfarer apart is its sense of community. The members here are friendly, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand. It's not just a place to train; it's a place to connect with like-minded individuals who share a love for MMA. Whether you're rolling or working on technique, there's a camaraderie that makes every session enjoyable. The facilities are top-notch as well. The gym is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with all the necessary tools for a comprehensive MMA training experience. In conclusion, if you're looking for a beginner-friendly and welcoming MMA gym in Manchester, [Gym Name] should be at the top of your list. The combination of expert instruction, a supportive community, and a positive training environment creates an exceptional experience for all levels. I can't recommend the gym enough – it's truly a gem for anyone interested in MMA.

Great MMA training and strength & conditioning facilities, Abdual and his team are amazing, the have 101 classes for beginner like me, 201 for intermediate level, 301 for advanced levels. Also gym has men/ female changing rooms, showers/ sauna rooms. Would highly recommend it anyone who wants to get fit and learn self defence at the same time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟⭐️

Great gym with equally great coaching, 101 classes are good for beginners as the techniques are broken down so you can easily understand what the process and end goal are. Would recommend for anyone looking to learn some new skills and get in shape at the same time.
