Staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is amongst the most amazing Mexican food I have ever had. Place is clean and has a good vibe. Music not too loud. Coffee very tasty. I imagine all the food is great, what we had was really good. Eddie was a particularly great waiter and kitchen staff came out to say hello.

I’m really surprised that this is any less than 5 star! Came here after a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Food was all absolutely 10/10. Staff were very quick and attentive. We weren’t left with dirty plates or empty glasses at all. The food was so UNBELIEVABLY fresh and vibrant. I could eat here five nights a week. Staff all friendly, nice atmosphere. Was happy the service was so busy considering it was so busy. I would have made allowances if it was a bit slower but it was perfect. Pina Colada was amazing too.

Another edit: 2 years on and going strong. One of our few favourite places Edit: just over a year later and still great. New menu and lunchtime offers very good. New Mexican restaurant in the middle of Bromborough village. Good menu, plenty of choice but not overdoing it. Food was really quite good. Burrito bowls a favourite. Service really friendly from all involved and seemed genuinely interested in feedback. Prices reasonable. Good drinks menu And cocktails looked fantastic.

Went to Pina Loca on a whim after seeing pics on Facebook. We only live down the road so rang up and asked if they could fit us in and we would have a pram. No problem. We had cocktails plus a few small plates and a few tacos. We can't rate it highly enough. Food was super speedy and the cocktails were great. Eddie was looking after us and he really knew his stuff. He easily explained the menu amd translated some mexican/Spanish so we knew what we were ordered (mainly certain liquers in the drinks!). Eddie was very polite, attentive and knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. This was our first proper meal out with a 5month old and we splurged, it was great. It doesnt have to be expensive....it was a big treat for us. Everything about it was good. We will be back. Thanks Eddie, from Nikki and Dan

This place is delicious, amazing tacos, crispy potatoes and quesadillas. With great food great service, this is officially my favourite restaurant on the Wirral.

They phoned us back to offer us a table as someone had just cancelled, so glad they did! Food was amazing, in the words of my partner it was like a flavour orgasm in his mouth!!!!!! We are both veggies there were plenty of options. The classic margarita was the nicest I've ever had! Staff were lovely and attentive. We will definately go back

Popped in here for a midweek lunch sometime was nice and quiet. I had a colorafo bowl, and my wife had the pollo. Outstanding meal, very very nice. All I would say is that I would like to see an option to go extra large on the bowls, It was perfect for lunch, but for an evening meal, I'd prefer more. I was gutted when the bowl was finished, I almost ordered another one.

5 Stars for the Burritos. They were amazing. Overall a very nice place, nice design, clean, friendly staff, decent prices. Genuinely highly rated restaurant and they open early so good for all day dining. PS: Nice and strong coffees as well

Mexican tapas as the waiter/barman described. absolutely beautiful food. the best Mexican I have had hands down. everything made to such a high quality. Will 100% return when I'm that way again

We did a Christmas table centre making night at Pina Loca. What a lovely evening! Really intimate and relaxed and our waitress was so friendly and worked really hard, making sure everyone was happy, chatting, getting drinks and clearing up. The food was tasty and fresh and the cocktail was delicious. Excellent value for money evening and nice to see a local business doing so well. Would highly recommend!

It may look like a strange wrap (with peas?) dipped in ink… BUT DONT BE FOOLED. This burrito blew my mind, what you’re looking at is the Friday Burrito - every great part of fish and chips WITH garlic aioli wrapped in a warm and toasted burrito, absolutely gorgeous. Now the ‘ink’ is something different, this is the dip part of the Birria Quesadillas small plate. A ridiculously rich (I was warned!) slow cooked, wonderfully spiced pulled beef, with toasted cheddar encased in a crispy tortilla and a glossy dip to go with it. Based in a cosy, well decorated, Cantina-styled restaurant. Honestly Im lucky I stopped by to try this place out on a whim. I can imagine this place being set up in a quirky city centre going against the big shooters like your chiquitos and las iguanas. Tremendous!
