Had an absolute amazing night at Bardez celebrating our wedding Anniversary. The owner, Marcus actually took the time to speak with us, asking if we were enjoying the food. He even honoured and toasted our Anniversay with proseco. His passion for good service is second to none. Cannot rave enough about the food. The service was spot on and the food spice levels were just right. We had the sizzler for starters, mains included butter chicken and dum lamb followed dum lamb biryani. All washed down with lovely Hilltop cocktail, mango lassi and draft King Fisher. Very good value for money. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to come and taste authentic Indian food to come to Bardez. It is the first restaurant in a very long time that I have enjoyed not only the food but the service as well.

Went here last night on the recommendation of a friend who has been a few times. On wilmslow Road there are soo many food places and this is hidden at the start. Walked in and there was a free so no waiting. For a Thursday night though it was still busy. For starters we didn't order the traditional papadoms we went for the pani puri shots.. they were that good we ordered more but could have easily just eaten them as a meal. Starters we ordered the tandoori meat sizzler, the rak kachori(defo a must try also) and gobi manchurian. Food was really nice the manchurian wasn't like any other as this was fresh cauliflower normally when you go to a restaurant it's all mushed up into a ball but not this one. For mains we got the chicken chetinaad really tasty aswell. We even had the owner and head chef (Surat) come out to talk to us aswell and provided an additional daal dish with was tasty too. All in all really nice place and definitely would come again. Thankyou for your great hospitality Ps forgot to mention also tried the mango kulfi once again this was really nice

Food was brilliant, first time in a long time I’ve gotten to have authentic Indian food in Manchester. That too, at an affordable price. Absolutely love coming here every week! The manager is a great personality and the service is quick. No complaints, only satisfaction.

Best Indian food you'll ever eat at Bardez! Hands down, the best restaurant not only on the Curry Mile, but here in Manchester! You'll find authentic Indian food here which is really delicious and cooked to perfection with the right amount of spices. Unlike other restaurants on the Curry Mile, the sabzis/curries here aren't filled with tons of oil. Instead, they are made just right! One of the few restaurants here on the Curry Mile I trust the most where the owners are really friendly, welcoming, and a great personality. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is brilliant! The chefs are top notch! The staff is good where the food is served to you quick. Love coming to Bardez and trying out all sorts of dishes! It is one restaurant that is very versatile and flexible within their options, as they also have a lunch menu alongside their regular menu. University students here also get a 15% student discount applied for dine-in on the regular menu! Would highly recommend the Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken, and the selections from the Hakka! Overall, I would extremely recommend Bardez if you're looking for amazing, sensational dishes to eat!

Best Indian meal ever eaten in Rusholme. Lamb chops were tender and juicy. Perfectly spiced and spicy. Chicken sizzler was such good value with so much on the plate. Each item was delicious. Lamb dum biriyani was a large portion of beautiful rice and tender lamb. This was spicier than other biriyanis I have had, and I love it! This is how Indian food should taste like. Will return again!

One of the best restaurants I've been to in the UK where they serve Indian street food. The food was absolutely so delicious and so fresh it was unreal.. it tasted even better than india and the service given was phenomenal and the staff and management goes out of their way. Can't wait to fo back and super excited about the new branch opening in Didsbury.

This is one of the few place which serves Indian food with its real taste. The pani puri was one of the best I had in UK. The biryani was mouth watering. Don’t try the fish though.
