With £400+ receipt, point blank refused to exchange curtains as 4 days over the '28' returns deadline. This was due to an unexpected family bereavement. Only wish there was a zero stars rating. This cold approach without empathy will only drive people away, I for one hope it continues and you go under. Amazon has a great range of items, as well as The Range.

I had a used, washed duvet and no one wanted it. It was too good to throw away at the local Tip... so I was at a loss until I found out that the Trafford Dunelm has a receptacle in-store where it can be left to be used or recycled. Result! 👍

Went for a new bed + mattress. Bought last lot from here about 4/5 years ago after a walk around testing the beds and mattresses out. I got a shock when they had only 1 bed on display, and 5/6 partial mattresses. So I asked a member of staff where the beds were and she was most dismissive and said 'they don't do it now - go online'. Was so annoyed I left. Lost a sale that day.

Not as wide a product range as other Dunelm stores. Wanted to get something. Internet said it was in stock. Nobody could find it. I said if I do click and collect, I’ll get a text in an hour. I did, but I was home. Why they couldn’t find it while I was there is a mystery. Although they have a good product range, not everything is available to either get delivered or click and collect. You spend ages choosing what you want, only for them to split the basket between click and collect and home delivery. But as the delivery amount is below the free shipping threshold and I must visit a store, I just give up. The user experience could be so much better and with that, their sales would go up

The shop had lots of choices. Was worth the effort. However, was not happy with the service at the cafe upstairs. I asked the lady behind the counter if there was a charging point in the sitting area where I could charge the phone as I had to go to Oldham. The cafe was empty and I was the only one there. She could have offered to charge my phone behind the counter. I had to cancel my plan to go to Oldham as I would not be able to check the time of the bus etc😒

Nice looking store and very tidy, staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of choice and some great ideas for the home. Big choice in bedding and towels. Lovely curtain section with so many beautiful fabrics. Plenty of parking and as it's at the far end of the retail park there's lots of spaces free. Has a coffee shop upstairs where you can hide out and relax while everyone else is shopping.

Extremely helpful staff member on lighting. I asked for assistance to choose the correct bulb. The lady in question stopped her work in the department and gave me good solid information. She looked up details before I made my purchase. I offered to return the unwanted couple of bulbs after making my choice but the store assistant took them back. Great to be dealt with by such a motivated and helpful person. Thank you I hope you remember who you are.

Dunelm offers a great range of goods to make a home comfortable. Right on our doorstep at the local retail park.
