The reception staff have always been absolutely amazing with me, but the Doctor I spoke to (Dr Dadah) was the rudest man I have ever had the displeasure to speak to in my life. He kept shouting over me, wouldn't listen to me, refused to talk about the specific thing I asked to talk about, because he hadn't bothered to look at my medical records before calling me for my consultation (over two hours late, incidentally), and so had no idea what I actually needed to speak about - then accused me of being hostile when I became frustrated with his complete refusal to listen to me. The final straw was when he threatened me that I wouldn't be allowed to access any mental health services ever again because I'd seen a private psychiatrist (due to ridiculous NHS waiting times for treatment). Please keep him away from mental health patients, he is dangerous. Also apparently he's never heard of Chemist4U, that very well-known online pharmacy. I just hope to God that the other doctors at the surgery aren't worse than he is.

I have to echo some of the other comments about Dr Dadah and the way he speaks to patients. He comes across as a strange aggressive little man with a problem controlling his temper. The first time I spoke with him was on a phone consultation. The problem is his English isn't great, so I put his demeanor down to frustration with the language barrier. My second appointment was in person and he was practically bristling with anger for no reason whatsoever. It was very uncomfortable and I was given short shrift despite have been ill for some time. I made an appointment with Dr Wyatt a couple of days later " by this time my face was swollen with infection". She was great and I couldn't fault the treatment I received from her. This review isn't a reflection on her or most of the staff but these bad experiences can really stay with you. The problem with Doctors like Dr Dadah is they put people off making an appointment when they're ill because you don't want to be sat in front of a grumpy clinician that just doesn't have any manners and treats patients with contempt. These doctors are incredibly well paid by the standards of 99% of the community and the very least we should expect is common courtesy.

The receptionist is extremely rude and unhelpful. At first I thought it was a one off, but after visiting a couple of times it appears that she may be racist as assumes I cannot speak English just because I am a person of colour. I am British born and I am capable of having a conversation. Rude woman.

Every single red flag around how we talk about disability came up in my conversation with Dr Dadah. Rarely gave me chance to answer their complex questions, at no point tried to guide me through any process or help me in terms of what information They needed, took no notes and I came out of that appointment feeling stupid and ashamed. I would certainly recommend caution in choice of GP if you are experiencing any kind of mental health or cognitive disability challenges. I am aware that the issues I raise here are widely systemic, but when a doctor is your only line of communication with the medical world, I would hope that they show some level of empathy with the general public rather than talking over patients with medical jargon.

I have recently transferred surgeries and asked for my address to be changed while the swap was processed. They refused, which meant I was not able to access my antenatal care during this period as the hospital can not change address unless the surgery do. As a result, I have not received appointments or medical results, which are extremely important, especially as I have had covid twice during pregnancy and have had liver issues and awaiting ECG results. I explained the importance and also explained that I would not be able to access my care and they refused to budge (this would have been an address change for a couple of days until my details moved over). I also have not been able to access my MAT B1 form. I agree with the previous comments - the doctors and nurses themselves are good, the issues are with some reception staff. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I told my doctor I needed to be with a different maternity care because of my move, they were supportive and also talked me through the further medical tests I needed to ask them for due to me having covid.

This GP has gone down the hill since the "covid19" stuff started. Its nearly impossible to get an appointment, and if you do will be on the phone and with a different doctor. Patient Access app choice to book appointments in advance has been removed. You dont even get the chance to speak to reception staff. What is the point on being fully vaccinated if it makes no difference on the restrictions? People struggling with other health conditions even worst instead.

Saw Dr Rhodes on Apr 21st and he was prompt with my appointment and very, very understanding of all my needs. I'd booked a double appointment as it's a complex issue and I'd written some notes as I'm not very good at speaking face to face when I'm nervous and he had the courtesy to read my notes and answer all of my questions completely honestly with no brushing issues under the carpet. I ended up needing to be admitted to hospital during my appointment due to an immediate and very serious health issue and although he knew I was petrified of hospital, he was so lovely and reassuring and explained why it was vital I went immediately and he had me on the hospital's triage list before I even left the surgery and he made sure I could get there safely (luckily I had my Dad with me as I've been unwell for a long time and currently don't feel safe enough to drive). From now on, I will always see Dr Rhodes - he is an absolute credit to the surgery. He's very courteous, straightforward and honest and he actually LISTENS to his patients and if he can't honestly answer a particular question, he'll tell you so but will try and get you answers. Without Dr Rhodes' quick-thinking and help, I could well have had serious and maybe even fatal consequences. I've dealt with Dr Rhodes four times now and each and every time, he has been so helpful and has given me the best care and has actually managed to get me referred for tests I've needed and he has never made me feel bad about myself. As for the receptionists, I must have been lucky as I've mostly found them to be absolutely lovely both over the phone and in person. It's only very rarely that one has been a bit short-tempered but they must go through a lot each day and I've heard them being abused by people because appointments are running late. The healthcare assistant, Alicia is so lovely and so is Kevin and there's another lady who also takes my blood (I think she's called Sarah) and they're all lovely too. I do agree about that waiting room though - it's very dull and depressing with all of the exposed brickwork and no windows and the stained skylights - it needs brightening up and the noticeboards need bringing up to date.

Angela one of the receptionist is one of the most rudest people I have ever had the pleasure of specking with!! I’ve been at park view for around 18 years and I received a call from her today regarding registration at a new doctors as I’m now out of the catchment area and she spoke to me as if she was absolutely disgusted with me 😮 there is absolutely no need to speck to anyone with the tone she dose!!!! You don’t ever know what they are going through!!!!

Receptionists always try to take power and diagnose/determine the needs when they are not qualified to. I have such a nightmare here getting an appointment, the doctors are great (particulary Dr Rhodes) but it is a challenge to be seen. The system needs updating but there's a huge reluctance to do so.

I’ve never had a bad experience with this GP surgery. Always seem to get through with call back system and had good treatment from doctors.

Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist (with glasses) seems to hate her job, definitely not the kind of customer service you what to experience when leaving a doctors appointment due to to Ill health. Apart from that great doctor.

I’ve had terrible experiences with Doctor Dadah MULTIPLE times and the receptionist Angela who refused to tell us her last name….maybe as expecting a complaint. They are very inconsiderate and unsympathetic. The receptionist was very unprofessional as well as she cut off the phone in haste. Dr Dadah always gives a terrible doctor-patient experience that leaves you feeling small and unsatisfied. I even left crying yesterday. Do NOT recommend.

This place has a new receptionist and she is now giving medical advice to patients , a woman I know has phoned up for her injection because they cancelled this on the day , she spoke to the new receptionist, the new receptionist knew that the woman was overdue for her injection , and only offered her a appointment for 2 weeks later when the woman questioned this , the receptionist then said sorry about this please protect yourself until you can have it , I think this is so bad , a doctor should of been told and more information should be given not from a receptionist but from the doctors, what if a woman is waiting for her injection she is late because you cancelled the appointment and she doesn't have the correct info and then she falls pregnant, nevermind all the other situations that can happen from having it late anyway , doctors should be doing more and receptionists should be doing less

Phone booking system is poor and reception are unfriendly. Book through the NHS app to avoid speaking to the receptionists here. GPs themselves are of a high standard, friendly and supportive.

I haven't had to make a GP appointment in years, and had Dr Dahdah for this one. I broke down my issues and Dr Dahdah provided a breakdown of what we can do going forward and why. He made pleasant small talk about no hesitating to come back should any other problems arise in the furture. Only problem was how long ahead my appointment was from the time I called in but I suppose that can't be helped.

Most of the doctors and staff are amazing, when seeing your own doctor they are great and so helpful. Each appointment is for 10 minutes only. Some doctors will only see you for one ailment, so if there is more than one thing wrong, make sure you make a double appointment.

I am appalled at how Dr Dadah spoke to me at my recent appointment. After having an appointment with this doctor several weeks before I thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes again he was incredibly rude. I'll put more on my patient survey but I'll be moving doctors as a result.
