First rate Indian Restaurant with an already excellent reputation - it did not disappoint. The service was very prompt despite being a busy Saturday night. Sampled a Lamb Bhuna and a Lamb Madras. The meat was really tender and beautifully cooked. The Madras was genuinely hot! 🔥 Will be visiting again when I am in the Stockport area.

Great service. Went above and beyond as it was our anniversary to make it special, with some nice freebies. Food was great also.

The restaurant looks very nice inside , however the food wasn’t the greatest. Yogurt sauce was very sweet like it had been mixed with mango sauce. Curry was very bland also it came out a little too fast like they had just heated it up. The staff seem annoyed that we didn’t order drinks kept getting dirty looks , overall a poor experience, will not be going again!!

The place itself is lovely and very clean . The need for bums on seats has resulted in tables and chairs in every available nook and cranny (but I get that… post covid) what I don’t sadly get is food that is visually stunning but sadly has absolutely no taste at all ? I had onion bhajis to start and chicken tikka shashlick , keema naan and bhuna sauce .well where to begin the bhajis we’re visually beautiful 3 arrived on the Plate with a salad and mint sauce. On reflection I should have been suspicious how anyone manages to make every single bhaji the same shape and size I don’t know. Now for the eating both myself and my dining partner had the greatest trouble trying to cut them (this was due to the fact they had been fried within an inch of there lives) upon tasting we both looked at each other and said they needed seasoning both salt and pepper and Indian spices too as they tasted of nothing not even of onion ?? We tried to pep them up by adding mint sauce but nope no chance the mint sauce was watered down to the most it can possibly be whilst still remaining a sauce…. STARTER not very good 3/10. Now onto the main course….. chicken tikka shashlick + accompaniments again the dish was very colourful and promised delights just not delivered? It arrived on a sizzler with Copious amounts of peppers and onions plus on closer inspection 1 raw cherry tomato and 2 pickled kebab shop type chilliest buried in the depths ?? What were they doing there? Again this promised much but once again no flavour other than roasted veg chicken looked delicious and was cooked perfectly but had absolutely no spicing to it at all. The Naan was bizarre lovely soft bread but filled with what I can only describe as donner meat and not keema? At least this had some taste even if it was Turkey and not India. Bhuna sauce absolute disaster again no spice this was almost as bland as the onion bhajis and only a back not of tomatoes was tasted. All in all a pretty disappointing dining experience and at just shy of £60 for two with 3 drinks not the cheapest either. Will come back and give it another go although it will be a long while before I do .

Perfect from the start, out meal was outstanding as was the service, the owner certainly knows how to make his customers feel welcomed, and offer advice on what to choose that would suit our dietary needs, the restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food is really enjoyable. a wonderful place for couples or families of any age or diet to dine

We love the Lime Lounge! We had dinner at the Lime Lounge last night, i’ve probably been there at least once a month since moving here eight years ago. In all that time I’ve never once left there feeling disappointed with the food. The staff are always courteous, professional and on hand when you want them, they never appear to be short staffed, ambiance is good and the air conditioning on when needed . If you aren’t familiar with this style of Asian cuisine the menus describe each dish accurately and without hyperbole, the grading system means you will never order a meal that is too spicy for your taste.Whatever you order will be served hot, fresh ,full of flavour and in a timely manner. I only drink Diet Coke there and it’s fine ,those less inhibited than me tell me there is a good range of wines and the Cobra beer is on draught. I suggest you book in advance for a Friday or Saturday You will gather I rate the Lime Lounge very highly, don’t take my word for it,go there, try it, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

Called in last tues curry fantastic been 3 times in a week, however got a take out last night and it turned out very poor. Madras sauce watery & tasteless , bhuna turned to watery liquid this hadnt been cooked through rusheď i think. I always believe you get what you pay for but in this instance not true. Overall a very poor experience.

Sorry to say but my last experience at the lime was poor I ordered a take away last Saturday and all I can say is what I received was well below the standard you expect from the lime rice hard and cruchie and the naan bread was hard on one side really disappointed won't be going back

Wednesday night. Went in, the waiter just stared at us..no welcome at all. Sat us down, curry was average, nann bread was excellent. 6 staff just standing at the bar right next to us which felt a bit strange

Visited this very modern, clean and stylish restaurant for my girlfriend's birthday. They provided us with one of their booth tables which made it feel very cosy and intimate. Earlier they had called me to confirm a table booking made online which was appreciated. Was pleased to find there is a small free carpark for shops and eating establishments within around 50 meters of the door. Responsive and very courteous staff made us feel very comfortable. Food selection from the menu really simplified on one side, and speciality dishes on the other. Really glad of being able to choose from several vegetarian options which we prefer. All served beautifully by the time we had nibbled through our poppadoms. Would definitely recommend.
