Did the brewery tour Saturday 8th August 2015 it was my birthday and the wife booked this as a little surprise, the tour of the brewery was first class, was taken around the brewery by Graham the tour guide. He was so good, a wealth of information regarding this brewery, the brewery was brilliant the place is so clean and then on to the visitors centre's pub. I've tried some ale's over the years and can honestly say I tried some of the best tasting beers I've ever had here at the brewery. Well done Robinsons.

Robinsons Brewery have begun selling their delicious Trooper beer in 5 litre drums, available for delivery or collection from their visitor centre. I opted for collection as I live near by. The reception team were friendly and efficient, my order was ready for collection. They have good Covid 19 safety practices in place. They have what looks to be an interesting selection of Brewery history in displays which I'd like to pursue more carefully once places are fully open.

Just got back from a very informative and interesting tour, Gary was humorous and full of facts. The site is very open and allows visitors to see the secrets of brewing in Stockport. Get on the tour before it closes and moves to Bredbury, well worth the beer tokens at the end.

We had a private party here. The venue was fantastic for the amount of guests we had (60-70). The team were great before and during the event in ensuring we had everything we needed (mics/projectors/acoustics etc). The buffet was exceptional with even the fussiest eaters in the party pleased with the variety on offer. A good selection of well filled sandwiches, and varied hot accompaniments - the halloumi proved very popular. We liked that there was space for people to eat at a formal table if they so wished. Some of the attendees went on the brewery tour beforehand. One lifelong ale fan commented how detailed and informative the tour was (and he'd been on a few!). The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable in her field and very engaging at the same time. I would certainly use this venue again in the future.

My first real brewery tour and it was great, we saw all the equipment new and old and found out about the hops that are used in beer. Also great to have the vouchers to try the beers after. The guy who took us on the tour (can't remember his name but he was a older local lad) was very good, very friemdly and took time out after to talk to us about the beers and wasn't a 'beer snob' either. I have already done it but I would definitely consider coming back with a friend

Amazing tour, worth every penny and a great rainy day activity with friends! We booked a 3.30pm tour on a Saturday, and although it took a little longer than expected (about an hour and a half) it was a really enjoyable experience. The tour guide, Barry, was engaging and funny - he clearly loved his job and that enthusiasm rubbed off on everyone else. Great insights into brewing past and present, with lots of useful facts and fun stories.

Had a great afternoon out at the brewery tour, including staying for a meal afterwards. Semi downside.. and it seems rare.. but before the tour your informed walking around here warm so hang up your coat. My girlfriend's coat was then taken, completely by mistake as there were two of the same coat, so it was an honest mistake. (She got it back a few days later) but still.. just leaving my feedback.

Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.

Really interesting to see what happens in this local brewery. An excellent visitor centre with a fantastic bar serving a great range of Robinson's beer - and food too! Well worth a visit.

Last week was the first time in this fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had a good time with the excellent service, with the finest cooking and wine and with the comfortable payment. We will absolutely go back there again.

Called in for a giftpack, but sadly sold out. Young lady was so helpful. Bag, bottles and logo'd glass quickly appeared and packed. 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience on the tour, very informative and appropriate for all. Gary was a great tour guide, the whole thing was really relaxed. Great to see the shire horses too which we weren't expecting. Only wished Gary could have joined us for a pint at the end!

Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. Tour guide Gary certainly knows his stuff which he delivers in an easy going and entertaining manner. Meeting Robinsons' pair of shire horses after the tour had finished was a bonus.
