A very interesting place! It is not a big restaurant but the decor and the design makes the place unique! Fab staff, they are very welcoming and friendly. The meal set is really fulfilling and pricy. They make their own soda and it is definitely a "must-try"! Their vegan foods taste really amazing and I love their sauce! Their foods come with a good portion as well which makes you satisfied easily!

Great vegan food! Would definitely recommend the burgers and gyros. Service was ok, was good at seating us and placing order but then felt ignored if we wanted anything else. It was quite cold as well - keep your coat on or take a blanket! Hoping the next time we come there's more choice on sides.

The food is brilliant. Great music. People are lovely, but the service is a bit slow Only ever had takeout so thought it would be good to try the in restaurant experience We turned up without a reservation and the place was busy, but they made the effort to seat us - thank you! There is a bigger selection of food dining in so wanted to try the burgers and gyros The food as always was excellent. Everything about the food is delicious. It’s tasty, well seasoned, great textures. Yummy for your tummy. Only minor complaint is the food took a long time to come out. They were busy and maybe I’m being unfair, but that was the only small negative. The staff were friendly and fast though. It’s good value too - 2 mains, 1 side, 2 drinks = less than £35 You can’t eat better vegan food in Leeds.

This used to be one of our favourite places in Leeds to eat. Went there last night and everything we both had just tasted of salt, hugely overseasoned. We found this last time we ordered for delivery too, but hoped it was just a one-off. Big disappointment as this place used to be fantastic 😕

I’ve visited the Sheffield, Leeds, York and Hull venue on several occasions and DS is without a doubt my favourite restaurant and venue, the best, most convincing and filling vegan chicken. The platters are by far my favourites but the burgers and kebabs are also great! The venues are really nice too, especially the Leeds one ! (My local) staff in the Leeds and Sheffield branch are especially lovely! Just need some deserts on the menu now guys!

We have only ever ordered take away from here but god attending in person made me realise the food is even better in person. One of my favourite go to places. Food delicious as ever and portions in person definitely better than take away. The service was fantastic. My only issue was the endless amount of justeat,deliveroo and Uber delivery people that would just sit at the door on bikes holding up an order number. Meaning the door was constantly open and leaving a draft. Ps we always order Xmas dinner options here for Xmas day and they are divine.

I unexpectedly really enjoyed my vegan garlic kebab. The texture of the fake chicken tasted unbelievable. The cheese sauce was delicious. Lovely friendly welcoming staff. They told us which were their most popular dishes, this included the bad girl kebab which two of my friends had. I would definitely recommend if you are vegan or just trying to eat less meat. I don't eat much meat myself and usually go for veggie options on menus so this place was right up my street.

Service was great Portion size big Fries gravy and the trimmings lovely Nice crispy chickn coating only slight negative is the chickn is little greasy but nothing bad as such. Drinks nice too. 4.5

This is personally my favourite vegan food place in Leeds. The price is great for the massive and tasty big portion sizes you get. Dog friendly and lovely staff also. Highly recommend going even if you ain't vegan.

Tasty and varied dishes. I was pleasantly surprised with my dish chickn philly teller served over fries as a meat eater I didn't know what to expect. It was delicious, filling and couldn't believe it wasn't chicken. Would most certainly go again. My friend had the spicy combo which was also delicious. Super friendly staff were a added bonus too.

Fully vegan kebab restaurant with a neat menu and great cocktail list. The food menu (see photo) is either a kebab where you select the bread or kebab with dirty fries. Bread selection is pise (Turkish bread - soft and toasted) or a trad garlic and coriander flatbread. We had both and they were great - go for the pide if you like bready kebab. You get a choice of how spicy you want it from 1 to 10. Despite asking for an 8 or 9 it was not spicy at all so so emphasise this if you like your kebab spicy. The drinks menu was brilliant with the cocktails made from fresh ingredients. We had the Bad Girl Kebab with pide and the Garlic Chilli Chick’N Kebab with flatbread. Other than a lack of heat, they tasted fresh, delicious and left a lingering flavour in your mouth. Recommend both washed down with a Los Calientes - a rum based cocktail with chilli in a martini glass. So nice, I’d go there just fir a sneaky cocktail. This would have had 5⭐️ were it not for the lack of spice, the wrong order being delivered to us and having to wait a while for till to work when paying. That said, don’t let it detract from the amazing ambiance, delish flavours and cool cocktails.

I love Döner Summers food. Literally have to drive a 50 minute round trip for what is some of the best vegan food imaginable, but it's totally worth it. Stoked that they now have their burgers permanently on the menu and the tater tots absolutely rule. Haven't had a chance to sit in yet but the takeout has always been fantastic!

Sensational vegan food! We came for lunch for the second time today, and I had the chicken gyros which was incredible. As always, the portion sizes were massive. I love that the team make their own sodas - such a nice touch and adds a bit of variety compared to other places around. Fast and friendly service, and such a good range of food - not just fried chicken. Will come back time and time again ❤️

Great vegan food, tasty kebabs and fake chicken no matter if you are a vegan or not (I'm not but the food was so nice I never really gave it a thought). Good sides and a decent selection of drinks, served up in relaxed environment with good friendly service. Top stuff 👌

Literally the best food I've had in a long while ! We went for the Endless Summer bottomless brunch £29 each. The drinks and the food kept coming. My favourite was the Korean BBQ Chicken

This place is amazing..the best vegan chicken I have tried. Tater tots to die for.. The staff are very friendly and kind and know what they are on about.. Definitely will come back for more

10/10 best “chick’n” ever. Really good sauces and impressive selection. Accommodating and friendly staff. Amazing cocktails and big drinks selection as well. Smashed it. It’s now my go-to place in Leeds.

I feel love... With the incredible rise in popularity of meat free diets the demand for options to eat out has spurred an explosion in vegan burger bar type places. Doner Summer was recommended by a friend and it is brilliant, location is towards one end of the city centre (delivery services also collect from here) the restaurant has a nice feel and looks clean (I didn't eat in so I only briefly saw this). I ordered via their website, which I can say actually works, the options are nice and ordering is clear and simple and you get a text with a confirmation. Sweet. I went to collect, and my food was ready about a minute after my collection time. The food is excellent, I went for the chick'n with salt and pepper seasoning and chilli's, this was lovely, the seasoning is perfect and the taste and texture of the chick'n is beautiful. Fries are a similar story, excellent, the slaw was nice too but portion size was a bit mean. The packaging is also nice good and really eye catching. I fully recommend eating here (from here) especially if you are not meat free.

Great vegan place, friendly attentive staff, nice decor and the food...wow! Had the chick n parm teller tray and chicken n gyros kebab. Both delicious and very fresh. Highly recommended

Great vegan comfort food and atmosphere. I have the Korean BBQ "chicken" with fries. The food is delicious and the portion so generous I had to ask for a doggy bag. The two waiters were very sweet and kind. I highly recommend it!

Used to come here all the time, lovely wings and tots usually. I’ve noticed in the last few months that the quality and flavour of the food has gone down considerably both in-person and for takeaway and I’m not sure why - the service too is very consistently minimal, the server was watching videos on his phone last time and didn’t check in during the meal, had to go to the counter to get the bill :p
