Really welcome break on a long drive. Has washrooms, Starbucks, Burger King, Subway, WHSmigh, an inn, parking, petrol station

£4.99 for a family size bar of chocolate which I can get for a £1 in any other shop (in any town) I was expecting it to be more money , but not that bloody much 😑

Why are there no showers in the ladies toilets? I don't want to go to the men's toilets to have a shower. I paid Β£31 to park my lorry, I should be able to take a shower in a female only space.

Hartshead Moor Services is a decent spot for lorry drivers, especially for a quick stop. The lorry park typically has space available, which is a plus. They've recently refurbished the toilets, and they're generally kept clean, a noticeable improvement. However, be prepared to pay a bit more for coffee here; the prices are higher compared to other service stations. Particularly, the Starbucks on the outside is noticeably pricier than the Costa you might find at other locations.

Nice stop for refreshments and quick meals. Starbucks (with Drive Thru), Burger King and Subway...Crispy cream and much more. Car parking is 2 hours free. There's also a Days Inn on site if you need a stay over. The toilets are currently being refurbished, so there are temporary toilets provided outside just by the main entrance - these were well equipped and clean. Traditional fuel station on the way out. Electric car chargers in the main car park, with Tesla charge points just to side of Starbucks.

Staying at the Days Inn on Hartshed Moor services. Decided for dinner to treat ourselves to a franchised KFC on site. Ordered a party bucket & zinger. Chloe who took the order was professional, friendly & efficient, 5🌟. Whilst waiting in pick up line I noticed two buckets, with a box of poppers appear on the service "slide" which was not heated by lamps . They sat there for over 10 minutes. When my number was called, I was served by a different member of staff. I highlighted my concerns about the time the food had been left out. But was not even acknowledged. So I called the server over and asked him to feed back that surely leaving food out for over 10 mins was not the accepted service standard. Again seemed disinterested. Placed the food in an insulated bag, very short walk back to on site hotel. Opened food, and yes, was a mix of luke warm & cold chicken. As you can see from images awful / cold fries. Binned the vast majority of food. Learn from my experience & avoid this KFC franchised outlet. Sadly this is one of the rare negative reviews I've posted. 😒 1094 refers.

Paid Β£32 for overnight parking. Had my curtains slashed....won't stop here again! I noticed cars driving through HGV only parking area. Syndicates stealing freight???

Have park here many times over the years. You can access both sides for refreshments. Men’s showers have recently been updated. Could really do with a bigger bench and some more hanging hooks. No sockets for electric shave

Very clean, friendly staff, a longish queue for a coffee (as one would expect), plenty full seating areas. The day we were there one member of staff was doing a survey in order to improve the experience for everyone. We didn't try the food (wrong time of day) but what we saw looked delicious. Will definitely call there again in the future when travelling that way.

Stopped on the way to Harrogate on Wednesday evening and unless all you wanted was the toilet I wouldn't bother! All the shops were shut except the little WHSmiths. Coffee shops shut, eateries shut, drive throu shut. What a waste of time no point being a service station if nothing is open. Won't bother again

Some of the cleanest toilet/washroom facilities I’ve ever used on the Motorway network, puts many other service area to shame. Well done for keeping them so clean.

Whilst I appreciate that they are having work done to improve services, they seem to have forgotten that the toilet cabins temporarily located outside need to be cleaned regularly. Water on the floor could cause someone to slip as well as the soggy wet blue paper towel all over the floor due to 3 bins severely overflowing.

Really not impressed.... only 1 person on....at least 6 in que....2 walked out.....I understand that people have lunch but should be 2 on all the time...too much for one....we sat on veranda ....omg what a let down!!! Right mess.....decking needs doing.... everywere dirty.... I blame the company not the staff...knowing summer coming these outdoor spaces should be tidied up....

The Burger King was great but when Subway and Starbucks are shut, so is all the seating area. Nowhere for comfortable baby feeding and the baby changing area is in the ladies toilets. Not great to be honest. Hold on for another 25 minutes up the road and go to Ferrybridge!

Very easy to miss a turn to the main services location, and if you do, there is no way back. Signage rather poor. Pretty much only junk food available. Fuel prices on average 20% higher than anywhere else. Not much good to say about this location beside the existence itself.

Seems like the stop off didn't have its delivery of coffee when we arrived so we were a bit disappointed at the choice of coffee we had. Could only get coffee from Starbucks and even then it was very limited.

Stopped at these services on more than one occasion and I am always impressed with it. It isn't the biggest but the layout is very simple and straightforward. There is also a KFC which is definitely a positive. A very good location to grab some food, stretch your legs etc.

Β£29 to park a truck for the night and no facilities for ladies to have a shower. Queue of men to use the unisex shower in the fuel station area. It's very wrong.

It's nice that this place is open 24/7. Just stop for a moment at 2am to buy sandwich and drink after long trip. Also around 50m from this place is hotel Days Inn if you too tired to drive (I didn't use hotel).

I really appreciate these welcome break spots however theyre always very expensive. If you have time at your hand, you can easily order take away from local restaurants and enjoy a nice local meal for cheaper than what's available inside. Just eat uber eats come so handy at times like these

Road signs in are difficult to read, bespoke standard, but the actual services were clean and tidy. We used the Burger King. Ordered using the self serve options, cooked quickly. It was alright. πŸ‘

Really poor. We just walked out actually. There is a Subway which is horrid, an inside Starbucks with nothing you can eat, a couple of closed something else's - I forget what. Just go for a p*ss and leave.

Pathetic, not a gluten free sandwich on the Westbound site, and nothing on the eastbound site yesterday. Welcome Break need to up their game, and Starbucks are still living in the 20th century when it comes to food choices for allergies.

All the usual shops and food outlets, not as big as some but more user friendly. Could've done with it being a cheaper supermarket than Waitrose though!

Only called in to charge my EV. As long as you've got a Tesla you'd be ok, there's loads of Tesla's charge points. anything else...forget it, the chargers either don't work or the few that are available to us mere mortals are busy. It's a tiny little services inside, the usual array of shops and fast food, subway, Burger king. However we didn't think it deserved our custom moved onto another.

Washrooms clean. Cafe good variety, tasty...but rather expensive as all motor way facilities. Pleasant & helpful staff. Quiet corner to relax. Good parking. Poor visibly for customer to walk safely from car to building.

Very clean, plenty of shops for a reasonable price. Good to sped here a lettle break on a longer car trip. Usually people spend here as a maximum 30 mins, not too busy. Especially thanks for the domestic staff! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Your typical stop off, we had a coffee in Starbucks which was nice, staff very cheerful, toilets available, wheelchair access and to toilets, several other shops on site as is a petrol station.

  • 5/5 Mikey D. 1 year ago on Google
Mikey and George where amazing at the front and was very helpful about food options as well as directing me to the allergy section near by. A 5 stars from customer service. Might have got nothing for myself, but helped my family for what they want and what they can get.
