My
third
appointment
yesterday
for
treatment
of
a
shoulder
injury.
I
arrived
a
few
minutes
early
and
was
greeted
by
Patrick
the
physio
who
was
chatting
with
the
receptionist.
I
waited
in
a
room
for
12mins
after
my
appointment
started
until
he
came
in.
As
it
was
my
third
visit,
I
wanted
to
have
my
injury
properly
assessed
and
not
be
left
in
the
room
again
with
a
heat
pad
or
a
tens
machine.
I
had
to
insist
several
times
on
being
examined
at
all,
almost
to
the
point
of
arguing,
and
then
was
given
a
cursory
exam
very
reluctantly.
Suddenly
told
yet
again
that
I
needed
a
heat
pad
on
‘just
for
5
mins’
and
Patrick
left
the
room.
15
mins
later
reappears.
I
insist
again
on
an
actual
physical
exam,
and
then
without
completing
the
exam,
suddenly
he
puts
the
tens
machine
on
and
disappears
for
at
least
20
mins.
On
his
return,
I
tried
one
final
time
to
get
a
complete
exam,
pointing
to
areas
around
my
shoulder
blade,
lats
and
deep
upper
arm
where
my
pain
is.
Begrudgingly
an
exam
was
started
again,
revealed
more
injury
which
Patrick
seemed
surprised
to
find,
and
he
gave
it
deep
pressure
treatment
for
a
few
minutes.
The
rest
of
the
exam
was
never
completed
and
suddenly
the
appt
was
over.
After
3
appts,
I
have
still
not
had
a
complete
exam
to
assess
my
shoulder
injury.
Honestly,
a
waste
of
time
and
money.
Believe
what
everyone
says
that
Patrick
spends
10-15
mins
of
your
appointment
in
the
room
with
you.
I
came
because
I
thought
a
rugby
physio
would
be
perfect
for
shoulder
injury.
There
are
much
better
private
physios
available.
