Beautiful location and a beautiful independent hotel with easy to access parking and amenities. We stay here every time we make a trip to the wineries and are never disappointed with the staff or the rooms. The view is gorgeous, the hotel is nice but not pretentious, and you feel welcomed but still private enough to enjoy yourself if spending a weekend celebrating an anniversary or equally important milestone. We recommend this hotel to all our south sound friends!

Ritz-Carlton prices for Holiday Inn experience. This place definitely has a monopoly on location and knows it. The views are beautiful but for $400+ a night (plus resort fee and parking) I expect a level of experience and service. Granted, they have welcome champagne and a "Raid the Pantry" offering that gets you some free food and drinks (actually its part of the $25 resort fee) and there is nothing wrong with the place as it is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the space is nice. However the experience (minus the location) felt like a Holiday Inn experience with regards to Staff interaction and the overall 'vibe'. It didn't help that our $400+ room got us a view of a canopy, parking lot, and office building. If you are in Kirkland, it's really the only place to stay, but just know what you are getting for the money.

Great location at the lake. Best hotel , best service, beautiful view from the room, beautiful rooms. Beautiful bathroom. Beautiful nice soaking tubs. Delicious breakfast in their restaurant. Their spa is a must visit to enjoy. You get treated like a royalty here in this hotel. Large parking garage

One of the best hotels/resorts I have stayed in USA. We came to visit Seattle and neighborhood national parks via a rental car. Parking is beneath the hotel. There are excellent views of the lake marina. Can't beat the location. Wonderfully helpful staff. Bit costly but worth the price.

Possibly the worst hotel experience I had in Greater Seattle area. We were not able to check in until around 4:30 PM even though they did say 4PM is the check-in time. All the other white folks who came before us were able to check-in fine. When we checked in, we arrived and there was a used clothing in a plastic and marked '431'. They felt bad about the late check-in so they gave us a bottle of champagne. The Director of Rooms tried to apologize by calling but the call was cut off. I never heard the rest of what they were trying to say. While waiting for the room, we are overhearing the spiel that they were giving to new guests. We never heard the same for us. There is high chance that this was because we were colored people. Try to avoid this hotel if possible. Edit: we also asked for a late check out to compensate for the late check-in and they said no.

Stayed in January 2024. This place is absolutely amazing! The hotel is beautiful, tasteful, kept immaculately, and is perfectly situated on the shore of the lake with wide views in all directions. The staff were welcoming and professional, and very helpful (we arrived earlier than expected and they accommodated us wonderfully). We booked a massage in the spa, which was fantastic - very chill and relaxing. We had a suite looking over the lake and loved watching the seaplanes landing and taking off on the water. There is a beautiful external courtyard area with seating and fire pits (lit after dark). Good choice of restaurants close by. We stayed for one night while passing through in the winter, I imagine the hotel and setting would really come into its own during warmer, sunnier months. Prices are, contextually, expensive but this is one of those rare places where I would say they are worth it - one gets what one pays for, and our stay was excellent.

Booked our 24th Anniversary here. Upon arrival we noticed some dogs in room next to us barking. Then around 9pm the dogs were going nuts. Must have been 3 large dogs barking and wouldn’t stop. The people left the do not disturb sign on door And left dogs behind. This place was way too expensive to allow dogs. We had to drive home and it ruined the day. The rooms were small, and bathroom stunk like urine. This place was prob nice 20 years ago. Would not recommend staying here if you like nice places.

Great hotel, with a perfect location next to the lake. Staff are very friendly, rooms clean. Highly recommend the Carillon Kitchen for brunch across the plaza.

I stayed here at the end of February, looking to treat my sister to a nice spa weekend. The good: The Still Spa had such a relaxing environment. My provider, Christine/Christina, was attentive to tweaks I asked for in my service and I would wholeheartedly recommend her. The rooms at the hotel were clean and extremely comfortable. The "raid the pantry" was a fun late night treat, especially for a staycation like we were doing. The bad: Everything was great until I talked to the staff due to lack of consistency and lack of communication. The self park procedure we were told about upon check in was odd. It was so odd, we went back down to clarify. Turns out what we were told by the staff was incorrect -- we had an issue when when we tried to leave the garage. The parking attendant explained a different procedure which made more sense. Upon going back to the hotel, I politely let the staff know there was a miscommunication since I didn't want other guests to have the same issues as I did. I was just told it was "obvious" how parking worked. It felt like a slap in the face since we had already attempted to clarify the weird procedure we were told, then had an issue with the parking attendant when following exactly what the original staff member told us. There was also a lack of consistency with communication -- I discovered there was a self park fee only after I happened to overhear another guest being checked in. It wasn't about the literal fee, it was about the lack of information I was given upon check in myself. I ended up submitting a post-stay survey directly to the hotel about this. Even their "thank you for your response" email was lacking. They didn't address this issue at all. I was also addressed by my last name, which is only four letters and the manager didn't even care enough to spell it correctly. The response also read like it was hastily written on a phone during a coffee break with little care or thought put into it. Overall, the amenities and hotel itself were great. However, I expected much better communication and consideration from the hotel staff. I've had better service staying at worse hotels. I won't be staying there again.

We love this place. Always festivals decorated during the holidays they are a great stay any time of the year, and they do pricing deals so keep an eye on their website. Offers smaller suites, regular rooms and more expansive suites along with a wide variety of common areas. Has a fitness center, underground parking, is dog friendly and features very modern rooms. Only drawback is there is no in hotel bar or restaurant, but there are a couple of restaurants adjacent and you can have food delivered to your room for a small fee. Champagne or Mimosa on check in and the "Raid the Pantry" in the evenings make this a great stay. Hit up the Still Spa while staying for a good relaxing massage or other service, but book ahead before your stay as it gets booked fast.

Fantastic hotel and service--beautiful location on Lake Washington with stunning views, room was clean and housecleaning very attentive, and front desk attendants beyond helpful! After seeing so many hotels settle for lackluster and inconsistent service and housecleaning since the pandemic, we were thrilled at the quality of our stay here. Will definitely book again next time we are in the Puget Sound area. In addition to the complimentary champagne at check-in, we were thrilled to be able to charge our Tesla in the underground parking garage--also complimentary. It is just a two-stall Type 2 Blink charger (Tesla owners--bring your J1772 adapters), so it is not fast nor would it handle a lot of overnight demand, but it worked great for both nights of our stay. Several restaurants and a Starbucks all within easy walking distance. And the lake view on a sunny day is spectacular.

Close to our company office, this hotel is really geat. Beds are comfy, great bathroom and room is spacious. Room was really quiet and calm with barely no sounds from other rooms. Only regret is that there is no restaurant (this 4* in Service notation) in the hotel but there are plenty of choice that are really good around.

Reserved a room for the view and to be away from the city center. Arrived to champagne, exhausted from my flight and took a shower. Laid down to sleep and after a couple of hours, blaring fire alarm and full-evacuation!! Outside in my undies, fire trucks, a whole thing. Guests blamed the wedding but it was never cleared-up. Plus side was I got to hit the sinful pantry for one night. Chocolate Haagen Dazs make it alright! Beds and bathroom are fine. But I was so exhausted that straw on a cave floor would've done just fine. Cool experience.

A beautiful hotel on Lake Washington with the most amazing views. We went in winter so we couldn't take advantage of the bikes & kayaks, but the hotel & spa were wonderful.

  • 4/5 Autumn S. 1 year ago on Google
Spa was amazing. Service was amazing. Staff was so helpful and kind. The hotel itself was beautiful. Definitely sit outside at the fire pits in the evening. Parking was easy. Lovely walking along the waterfront and to the shops down the street. Food from next door was ok. I was very grateful for the room service, though. My room was not facing the water. I had a view of the top of the roof (including old pair of discarded gloves) and office buildings. Not great. Would only recommend water view rooms. Had to keep my drapes closed because everyone in the offices could see me as well as I could see them.

  • 5/5 Amber H. 11 months ago on Google
Service was great, rooms were comfortable and everything smelled fresh. Nearby restaurants were convenient and we enjoyed the walk along the waterfront. A couple of weddings were taking place during our stay but did not impact our time on the property. Would definitely stay again!

We had a Celebration of Life party for my father in the Marina Room and it was lovely. The food and service was excellent but most of all the event was so thoughtfully coordinated by Emily Olsoy and she left no details overlooked. This made the planning process so much easier and stress free. Truly made a difference to the whole event to have a skillful coordinator like Emily .

  • 4/5 Bob G. 11 months ago on Google
Beautiful setting. Helpful staff. The rooms were nothing special. If you are there during wedding season make sure your room is not on the second floor unless you want to dance the night away with music from the reception.

  • 4/5 Chris M. 10 months ago on Google
Very nice hotel with various restaurants within the hotel property or nearby buildings. Right on Lake Washington shore. It's a little bit of a walk into downtown proper, it's a short drive. We just put up our son there for a few nights and realized we need to just do an overnight "vacation" there ourselves.

  • 5/5 Adrienne 1 year ago on Google
BEAUTIFUL hotel. Although a little more costly than most, the room was clean and luxurious and the immediate surrounding area has gorgeous views of Lake Washington, beautiful landscaping and flowers, and nice gathering places around fire pits and nearby restaurants. My only downfall for us was that there was an event and then a wedding on both nights that we stayed, so it was rather loud outside and at night, which made it hard to enjoy the balcony.

  • 5/5 Aaron L. 7 months ago on Google
Beautiful hotel with beautiful nighttime views! Excellent customer service, huge room, very clean, plenty to do around the area. Occasionally, my wife and I get a room and have a romantic evening away from kids. We have been to countless hotels. This is definitely in our top 3. The other rooms that compare were far more expensive. For the money, it definitely doesn't get better. Thank you, Woodmark and your staff. See you soon!!!

  • 3/5 Dawn M. 7 months ago on Google
This stay unfortunately was an extreme disappointment. My previous experience has had me singing the praises about The Woodmark staff, location and topnotch customer service. I took my son and daughter inlaw for a special family weekend. To be completely honest my room at the Holiday Inn in Dry Ridge, Kentucky was equally as nice with better customer service; a 3 night stay being the financial equivalent of 1 night at Woodmark without a view.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were all very friendly! The fitness center's location is weird and inconvenient and you have to sign a waiver and get a key every time you want to use it, (we used it each day so it was a little annoying), but the equipment options are good and it's overall a nice facility. The location is amazing! We spent so much time walking by the water and downtown. We enjoyed the fire pits out back. They did have several big events over the 4 days we were there, but considering it wasn't too huge of an inconvenience. The bathrooms need to be updated and cleaned a little better. And the tvs need to be updated. Otherwise, no complaints. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Likely the cleanest hotel I've ever seen! Excellent place to get away and relax. We've stayed here twice now, and both times the staff are excellent, check in is easy (free champagne, too!), and the rooms are immaculate. Love the view of the lake as well. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa. It's in a great location if you're visiting Seattle area. The scenery and local shops are great. Our kids especially loved raiding the pantry at night! Thank you to all the staff for making our visit fabulous. We will be staying with you again in the future.

This review is for the Woodmark as both a wedding venue, wedding caterer, and hotel. Five stars all around!! I got married here this year and it was all an absolute dream come true! 💍 The Woodmark as a Wedding Venue The Woodmark is absolutely stunning with its waterfront view. The recent upgrade on their lawn was amazing! It is now filled with hydrangeas, grassy walkways, and fireplaces. The white tent outside is so elegant and there some new chandeliers with black accents. The boat ride they include was also an incredible icing on the cake. Everyone talks about a getaway car but a getaway boat?! It was so fun, classy, and unique! 🐟 The Wedding Food Absolutely delicious! Several people came up to me and said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Food was a top priority for my husband and everything on their menu sounded delicious and the tasting was so fun. Although we went “blind” with the fish choice (we picked it without trying) it was still so delicious and people loved it!!! ⭐️ The Service Emily was our venue coordinator from the Woodmark and she was wonderful to work with! She was organized, answered all my questions, and nailed everything on the wedding day. Everything we requested was there the day of - zero hiccups! As a bride who had a LOT of asks, I was really happy with Emily’s work and am so glad she was our coordinator. Everyone talks about what a well-oiled machine the Woodmark is and Emily was no different! The coordination part of the venue was also very important to me when I was picking a venue. I had been to others where I felt they didnt understand m vision or care about it. That’s not the case with the Woodmark. Emily listened to all my detailed questions and executed amazingly. Emily is organized, so kind, communicative, and knowledgeable! Thanks you so much Emily for making our wedding day so smooth! The catering staff that served our food and our drinks were also great! The wait staff was seamless in their service and our guests were really happy with their drinks! Additionally, the flip of the wedding (when staff changes from ceremony to reception) was also seamless!! all our tables had everything they needed and the staff did it in a timely manner! Everything met our timeline! 😴The Woodmark as a Hotel A classy and modern boutique hotel! The rooms are super clean and in good condition! The hotel lets you borrow bikes and has free kayaking too. Some of my friends took advantage of this during our wedding weekend. and the most fun part, they have a snack pantry with chips cookies and ice cream! who doesn’t love snacks but when you’re traveling too, this helps save a trip to the grocery store. it’s a super nice touch! Overall, would def stay again. the view, service, and cleanliness are everything i look for in a hotel.

Nice boutique hotel. Confusingayput during construction but once you get it down not a problem. Very nice views and the service is good. Great place to host events for business but it's not the cheapest. Still great all round. Highly recommended.

I attended a mixer event for 3 hours. We were outside under a beautiful tent with chandeliers and draping. The view of the water was beautiful. The service staff was friendly and quick to accommodate. Food was good. As the evening fell the lighting and backdrop was perfect for photography. Paid Parking on both sides of the hotel had easy access to the event space. I didn't take photos during the event but snapped a few on my walk to the car. I want to come back again.

Nice quiet and comfortable, clean place, bit short on service although probably related to Covid regulations. Good location about 1.5 mile from downtown Kirkland. Good access to Bellevue, only a short ride away.

  • 5/5 Kimberly B. 2 years ago on Google
Such a gorgeous view from our room. Beautiful bathroom with deep soaking tub to really relax your muscles. Worth the price completely!

  • 5/5 Alaina R. 2 years ago on Google
Classic, clean and beautiful. Unbeatable views and top notch customer service. The Woodmark is conveniently located near the 405/520 junction giving direct access to Bellevue and Seattle. It's a short drive into downtown Kirkland and of course, directly on the marina. The rooms are well appointed and fully up to date - no old linens or styles to be found. Great for a large business meeting as well as smaller intimate meetings. Plenty of dining options available on property. Highly recommend and would return!

This is a wonderful hotel right on the water. We have stayed here many times. Usually we stay in a lake front room but we stayed in the standard room this visit as there were two weddings on each of the nights we stayed there (and the lake view rooms are the ones that would experience all the noise). We still had a view of the lake - it just wasn't lake front. From now on, we will probably just get a standard room (assuming they might all have some views of the lake) instead of paying the extra money. The rooms are all big and spacious, very clean and many amenities right in the complex, including two restaurants. The hotel is right off Lake Washington Blvd - and a nice walk into downtown Kirkland.

Staff were nice and helpful. Room was clean and they even had a late night pantry open for guests. Could add some waters and more healthy options though.

I stayed here previously for the Boeing Classic. Proximity to great food at Le Grande, Como, & Beach Cafe' a definite plus. Facilities are superb, view beautiful, staff warm and friendly. I always will in the future as well. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place, very clean, friendly staff. Nice views from certain vantage points of the hotel and several good food options within walking distance. Used the laundry service which was super convenient as well.

Amazing hotel with great views of the lake. They had hiking maps and bikes available for free. The service was great and their 'raid the pantry' each night was a really cool addition. I will be back if I'm in the area.

A perfect place to spend our wedding night. The staff was friendly and we loved our room. It was fun to look out the window and watch another couple get married.

From the minute we walked in the door, we received nothing short of exceptional customer service! Mallory and Nina were superb in going the extra mile to make our stay special. All the staff that we interacted with us were nice, professional, and wanted our stay to be great and it was. The lakeside views were incredible and the fire pits in the evening were very comfortable. The quality of the products during raid the Pantry each night were of high quality. We had a great stay and would definitely come back. It is evident that the training of the staff was top notch from all of management.

Nice hotel. Great rooms. I have a suite with private balcony. Can see the water. Staff very friendly. If want to use the fitness center, plan on short walk across parking garage. But the fitness center is worth the walk

Comfortable, classy, squeaky clean, and quiet. Also excellent restaurants just outside the lobby. Very friendly staff. Beautiful scenes from the waterfront, especially at night and early morning, with some areas to sit in peace. All around, a solid property.

Updated 10/18: Manager Scott G is very nice and called me. I would stay here again in the future. We live close-by in Bellevue and came here for a staycation for two nights. For the price, I can't believe how dirty the carpets are in the room. Also, the room is super dusty and killing my allergies. TV is small and very slow and old. Pros are the location on the water and nice staff, but the room quality definitely does not justify the prices they are charging.

I've stayed at the Woodmark a few times on business over the years and have never once been let down. It is outstanding in its class by all measures a business traveler looking for minimal fuss coupled with maximum comfort might consider.

What a wonderful stay we had! Sitting out by the firepit was probably our favorite part. Thank you! (Please note, spa is a separate entity and not included in this review.)

I stayed here during a move, so I wasn't able to fully experience the hotel, however my brief time there was very pleasant. I highly recommend getting a room overlooking the lake as it is a wonderful view in the morning and at night. The rooms are nicely appointed with plenty of towels and soaps (surprisingly this has to said). If I ever find myself needing a hotel in the area this will be my first choice.

We spent a long weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary here. When we checked in there was complimentary champagne waiting for us in our room! The view of lake Washington was spectacular!! Several restaurants were within walking distance. We learned that there were complimentary kayaks that we could rent. There were snacks available for free at 10pm. Overall, a really great experience!! Thank you!

Decent oceanfront hotel great for business outings. Great stay and rooms were decent size n clean. Do check out their night pantry which is open from 10pm to 12am for some great snacks and ice-cream. It was inconvenient that the gym wasn't in the building and they don't have pool/hotbutb which usually most 4-5 starts hotels would have.
