I will never spend my money here again. My first time eating here in a while really good authentic food. I went back to purchase food today purchased 6tacos asked for salsa was given 3red salsa an 3green salsa for 6tacos so i asked for 2extra red salsas was told its a .20cents charge no problem but the pregnant lady attitude was so horrible i changed my mind it’s one thing to have a ugly attitude outside of work but to work in a establishment dealing with customers an having a snobby attitude is another thing.. Sal would have never treated his customers the way i was treated today. May he R.I.P.

I love Garpez....everything is homemade even the chips are fried their in the facility. Their quesadillas are amazing as well as their homemade breakfast tacos and enchiladas. It is a great family environment, and is family owned. The employees work hard to meet customer satisfaction, it is a great place to dine...... P.S ask about their green salsa it is amazing......

Great, friendly waitstaff! I came for breakfast, and they have some of the best breakfast tacos in BCS.

Friend told me about this place after talking about breakfast tacos last night. Been featured in Texas Monthly and on ESPN's GameDay. Went early and there was already a line at drive through and a few people in line inside. I ordered the barbacoa on recommendation, and the usual potato, bacon, and egg taco; carne guisada, bean, and cheese taco, and tried their chicarron and egg taco. Barbacoa was very good. Not greasy at all, but very moist and flavorful. Even better when you added onion and cilantro. Was a little disappointed in their green sauce. The chicharron was by far my favorite. Soft but still had a slight crunch. The salsa they used to cook them in was very good. Wasn't a big fan of their tortillas or else this would have been a 4 star for me.

The tortillas we're actually all right considering that they are handmade. As far as the filling I had chorizo and egg and potato tacos and my kids had potato egg and bean and egg tacos. The consensus was that there is sometimes not enough in the tortilla itself and that the taste was kind of bland. The salsa that came with it was good though and we also ordered some chips and salsa which was also good. All in all I would say that these are decent breakfast tacos.

It was a great lunch. The chicken enchiladas were hot. The cheese was excellent as it stretched making a possible mess. The chips were thick and held whatever you dipped them in. We both ordered combo #1. She had the cheese enchiladas and barrack beans. I had the chicken enchiladas. The rice was tasty. The baracho beans were bit to much jalapeño in them. The service was very friendly. We will return for a breakfast soon.

Another great local taco place! Of course they have more than tacos but that's what I usually order. They started out at the gas station (which is no longer there) by the Cinemark but they have been at this standalone location for a few months. I've never been disappointed coming here and I hope they keep up the great food and service!

Unfortunately didn’t even get to try it. Walked in about 25 minutes ago with no service at all. The place was hot. No one was getting serviced. Sat for way too long with no menus, no drinks, no service. When the lady came to take our drink order she never came back. I have two small kids that were hungry. This was absolutely ridiculous. We eventually got up and left because we still didn’t have drinks.

Placed our order & waited over 30 minutes… still no food. I only ordered 4 tacos. If you have an hour to wait, you can come here.

Service was nice, but the place smells sour inside. Don't recommend the following: chorizo and egg - had no flavor. Didn't taste or look like chorizo. Chicharron Taco was undercooked Green salsa was all spice and no flavor. Tortillas were good, homemade. Red salsa was good.

We have heard good things about Garpez, but after finally trying for the first time, we were underwhelmed. The migas taco was very bland and we had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes in a parking space for our order.. we had ordered a side of queso and were told that it's prepared only when ordered.. but it turned out to be melted Velveeta with nothing added to it. A far cry from queso imo, and the chips were oily and in between crispy and stale. Positives: good tortillas, kids liked their bacon and egg tacos.

Please whoever is doing the cooking, turn down the salt! My Tacos, my rice and beans were so salty that I did not finish my food. Bring back your home made salsa you used to have and bring in some restaurant style chips because yours are to thick and greasy. The amount of money you are charging for the amount of food you are giving to your customers is to high. You even charge extra for a very small amount of chips that are so greasy and only give a tiny little dish of salsa with it. We have been going to this little place for many years and loved it, but unfortunately things are not the same any longer and we will no longer eat at this place.

I'm eating a chip from this morning right now that I found on the kitchen countertop, and was like DAMN WHERE DID THIS CHIP COME FROM, because it was so good. Emily told me "from Garpez".. well I thought I'd tell you guys how good your chips are. And your tacos are world class too, we've eaten them for years. Love this place.
