It
was
an
absolutely
amazing
experience!!
It
is
a
memorial
that
true
has
its
spot
up
there
with
the
national
memorials
I’ve
been
too.
The
monuments
and
memorials
cover
all
the
major
wars.
They
have
a
revolutionary
minuteman
minute.
The
Son’s
of
the
American
Revolution
were
involved
in
this
one.
The
engraved
WWI
memorial
was
very
elegant,
it
is
showing
some
age
though.
Wall
South
was
very
touching.
Then
I
visited
the
Purple
Heart
monument.
It
was
well
done.
I
continued
into
the
Korean
War
display
it
was
excellent
and
had
tablets
inscribed
with
the
different
heroes
of
the
war.
Next
as
I
was
walking
I
ran
into
Stan.
He
was
cleaning
up
the
ground
of
a
newly
installed
monument.
He
began
a
friendly
conversation
about
the
park.
I
learned
he
was
a
veteran,
but
additionally
how
much
he
does
to
make
this
park
run.
Their
is
a
whole
crew
of
guys
keeping
this
wonderfully
maintained.
It’s
really
hard
to
believe
it’s
going
on
thirty
years
old.
They
take
extreme
care
of
all
the
monuments.
I
also
visited
the
Gold
Star
family
memorial.
Stan
shared
several
excellent
stories
about
his
time
with
Woody
Williams
while
the
ground
was
broke
and
during
fundraising!
