We had the NICEST stay at this Albergue. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful. He was so welcoming and brought us a beer upon arrival. We enjoyed some sunshine while he brought our bags to our room for us. The room was so cozy and clean and spacious. He then served dinner, a lovely soup, salad and tortilla (all delicious) with some wine. He then provided breakfast in the morning as well. (All reasonably priced.) I felt right at home here, and highly recommended this to anyone doing the Camino. Its a quick turn off from the trail and when you leave, you are redirected to bypass Negreira, but you can turn into the town if needed.

It was nice knowing it's a 1 star hostel but my room had a lot of humidity and that's why I give 4 stars to this hostel

The location is great. The Albergue has a very nice outdoor garden patio area, could have a relaxing time. Only problem is the owner, he doesn't understand client service. I arrived in Negreira from Santiago by the local bus. When I got to Negreira I was told that a taxi would be 45 minutes to one hour. A nice young lady offered me to share her taxi because she had already placed a call. I had a beer and smoked one cigar while we waited for the taxi. The taxi dropped me at the hotel and I paid 15 euros which included the remainder of the young ladies fare home. The taxi driver provided a receipt. I sat outside with the manager and her boyfriend talking and having a smoke with them, I was not drunk! This owner did not " kick me out " I offered to leave because he is obviously unreasonable and a fabricator of events that he was not in attendance.

Lovely place with extremely friendly and helpful staff and peaceful garden. Amazing value. Definitely recommend this as a stop off if you are doing the Camino Finisterre or Muxia.

Really gorgeous place to stop if you’re doing the camino. Don’t be put off that it’s slightly off the route, it’s only 10 minutes and it’s worth it to be in such a lovely quiet place. The host is extremely accommodating and friendly and the food is delicious. I had a nice room with a terrace and it was so nice to just chill in the beautiful garden and relax after a day of walking. I 100% recommend this place!

The place is OK. With the garden was OK++. What really makes the place is the owner Luis. Super super host. From the first moment ( Te invento a una cerveza) he creates a social atmosphere. We had an incredible time in the garden and then we went to Negreira. He took us off course then when we finished he took us back. Incredible guy. Recommend with all my ❤️.

Super friendly host. I was welcomed with a cold beer and a lovely spot in the garden to relax after the days walk. The room and bathroom were very clean. The simple dinner of soup, tortilla and salad was tasty and good value. The Only thing I would change is to add fruit or yogurt to the breakfast menu. But you could say this for most places on the Camino.

A very quiet place to stay in a rural setting with old-fashioned furniture. Very nice cottage albergue. Dinner is served alfresco in the back garden.
