Loves staying here. The service provided by Roberto was great, he kept in touch with various important things several days beforehand. The place itself is beautiful, with a pool, comfy garden and nice chill area. Also huge kitchen. The only downside is there is no restaurant around (the one nearby is a junk) and you can only get frozen pizza (and a lot of beer) or cook pasta on your own here. So if you plan on eating in the evening, rather bring your own.

Booked this place after reading the good reviews. Yes, indeed, it's a beautiful place, with a relaxing backyard, above ground swimming pool (to cool off achy joints), hammock, chaise lounge chairs, fire ring, and a fully functional kitchen. We had one of the private rooms that provided a comfortable rest after a long day's walk. After reading the comments, we decided to hike in our groceries (and a bottle of wine) from a market on the last 5 km, and it was totally worth it. We cooked together and shared the food with two ladies from Australia (an aunt and a niece, we regret we missed getting their contact info), and a few young people from Germany. We had a great memorable time around the dinner table sharing each other's stories from El Camino. The breakfast in the morning was healthy with fresh fruit and good coffee. The host was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Make sure you book well in advance, as it fills up quickly. Definitely recommend.

Roberto was an excellent host and very accommodating! I arrived early and he checked in on me to show me around and give me the lay of the land of his beautiful home. It was almost like a resort. There was a nice pool, sun chairs, outdoor sitting areas, and he has a stoked kitchen so no need to go to the store before hand. The beds were nice with outlets, lamps, and sheets. I stayed two nights with my girlfriend during our Camiño Portugues. It was by far the best Hostel we’ve been during our trip. I recommend every pilgrim to stay at least for a night and relax in the beautiful garden.

This albergue is a fantastic stop before entering Santiago de Compostela on the Portugues route. Very nice facilities and the owner is a great host.

Small place just off the Camino. Lovely gardens and facilities with laundry, beer and pizzas in the fridge/freezer and small pool. Overall a great stay, only let down by there not being anything in the area with only one "restaurant" nearby who don't have an evening kitchen - meaning no option but to pay 8euro for the frozen pizza.

Our stay here while on The Camino was so lovely! Our host was friendly and helpful and even while staying in a shared room with bunk beds, this accommodation felt more like staying in a home with a nice living space and kitchen. The bathrooms were very clean and functional, and the back garden area had lots of space to enjoy the outdoors after a day of walking. I would recommend anyone to stay here!
