There are many trains to see here and some you can go inside. We had a volunteer tour guide, Glenn, who had such information to give. There is a play area for small children in one of the buildings

Absolutely amazing 👏 So many old steam trains and rail cars that have or are currently being restored. Talk about stepping back in time.... The classic cars are perfection. I can just imagine my grandparents ❤ in their hayday.... I'm going back.. Drove 5 hours from Indianapolis... Well worth it 👌😉

Great family place to visit with tons to do! Be sure to check out the oldest tunnel on this side Mississippi in the back of the train yard, it's pretty neat, although fenced off.

This place is awesome to take your family. There are so many trains and some of them you can climb in and on. The cars and model trains are pretty cool and there's lots of interactive stuff. There's a little train you can ride for an extra $5 and it's worth it. Highly recommend!

It is a very nice and varied collection of vehicles on display. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the cars. A great addition overall to the park, worth a visit.

Lots of cool cars. The kids love the train layout inside. Tickets are also for the train ride and to see the big locomotives up the little hill. On a couple of the locomotives and rail cars the kids are even allowed to carefully climb into them. Highly recommended.

As I mentioned in the previous rating, this place is top notch if you enjoy the history of vintage cars. Not many people know how many Automobile manufacturers were in St Louis. We could have been 'Motor City' instead of Detroit.

They have quite a selection of steam locomotives. Diesel locomotives. Examples of train cars and caboose. They have their own "Big Boy" locomotive. The engine is 132 ft in length. They have a nice selection of restored cars too. Not a train guy, but enjoyed looking at the rolling stock that they had.

A few forgotten milestones you can marvel about. Turbine power, steam power, sure you could fly to London and see the same collection. Or just come here. Upstairs you can enjoy the illustrated history of cars and tech around cars. 8 track anyone? Downstairs you can see the cars.

I enjoy looking at the older cars from the 50's and 60's. The styles back then were much more distinctive, and you could always tell them apart. There were also many train cars to visit if you're a train enthusiast. It's a great place to bring kids of all ages. Highly recommended.

My family and I love visiting the Museum. Our young boys absolutely love the trains on display, both the model trains and the real ones! Their Holiday model trains displays are phenomenal! Definitely worth the trip!
