I live 9 hours away in Georgia and I purchased a boat from St. Charles Boat & Motor in May of this year. I had talked to several other closer dealers that just made me feel uneasy. I bought a boat from St. Charles without ever seeing it. Everything was exactly as described. One of the owners, Zeke, answered my initial e-mail at 8:30pm. Their finance manager, Janet, made every part of the purchase and transfer painless. Janet's husband, and co-owner, Jerry, taught us so many small tricks during the delivery orientation that made our first outings stress free. Having dealt with this dealership, I would honestly make the drive again if I needed a major service or purchased another boat. They're that good. There is a strong family atmosphere, every employee is honest and trustworthy, and we felt as if we were part of the family.

The best purchase experience of my life. The entire crew did an excellent job with every aspect of my purchase from the financing all the way to the orientation at the end. I can honestly say I’m ready for anything and everything life wants to throw at me and my boat, and it’s all thanks to the staff at St. Charles Boat & Motor. Thank you!

I bought a boat online and on Monday was the pickup. All organization was impressive. Zeke David was the seller I deal with. During the negotiation he was so comprehensive. The documents were prepared before I get to the store by Janet Sims. She was so ditailed. The attention I received there made me feel special. It was great experience working with them. I'm recommending this dealer to everyone especially people with no knowledge.

Beware of the body shop and zeek who runs the body shop. We had some fiberglass damage that we brought to st. Charles boat and motor to have repaired. The first repair went well. Then the repair failed ( fiberglass had major cracking looked just like before it was fixed) brought boat back to be fixed again. After 6 weeks called to check on repair time zeek was very rude saying they don't normally fix stress cracks, And it would still be a few weeks. Get boat back and it's filthy. Things that had to be taken out of storage compartents for the repair to be done left all over the boat. Bimini bracket installed backwards witch led to more damage when the top was lifted. Rusty parts left on our new sea deck😬. What terrible service. I used to recommend them to anyone who would ask. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I am writing this to let you all know that I am really disappointed with the work and more so the cost of the work that was done on my boat. I had 3 batteries and you all replaced with 2 new batteries. All 3 old batteries were taken by you all. The wiring is all dangling and loose inside my gunnels The trolling motor is not powered and therefore unusable. It likely used that third battery you all removed. The trolling motor is not powered by the 2 new batteries. The radio has not been checked out and powered. The jack plate motor is not working due to a cut and broken wire I believe but I was told that is not fixable at this time?! The onboard charger was removed and not replaced like I asked. A isolator was added but I was thinking I would have 3 batteries and expected a 3 battery isolator but if I don’t really need 3 batteries that’s fine. Of course the trolling motor is not powered. So what am I to do with that? I was charged a lot of money for not much of what I asked for and the boat wiring was left in a mess. I am really unhappy with what I paid for

I had a down payment on a less expensive, less quality pontoon boat at another dealership. I bought my jet skies from St Charles Boat& Motor years back and had a great experience. I had been stopping in there from time to time working with Terry to see if there was pontoons they had in my price range. After I had the deposit down on at the other dealership I stopped in to thank Terry for his time. Well glad I did! When Terry found out I had a deposit some where else he went straight to the owners and told them we need to get this guy in one of out boats. They had a boat I had my eye on but was out of my range. So I thought! They matched the price of the other dealer and put me in a high quality pontoon boat at a great price. Terry, Zeke, Jerry, Thank -You! Can’t wait to get on the water. This is the place to come for all you marine needs. PERIOD!

I lost my boat motor key (I'm pretty sure I left them on my bumper and drove off because I'm a big dumb dumb), and they were able to find and sell me a new key to my motor the same day. Great service. Thanks for your help!

These guys here are the real deal here. They made purchasing a boat a great experience for me. They will explain everything thoroughly and go over every single detail. If you're new to boating this is the place to go. I learned a lot in short amount of time just by talking with them. I would highly recommend them to everybody who's buying a boat. Do a better job of directing traffic. How do you expect a car to come to full stop when the flag men isn’t even near the intersection to direct traffic? Car is going 40 mph, then SCBM truck decides to pull out expecting traffic to come to safe stop. Train your drivers and crewmen better! The speed limit is actually 35mph and you actually have a duty to direct traffic, especially if you suddenly plan to BLOCK THE ROAD WITH ZERO WARNING!

Went there recently to shop for a new boat. Ended up buying one there and from start to finish they did great. Everyone there was awesome. Even when there was a mishap (Totally the fault of Yamaha sending the paperwork via snail mail) they did everything to make it right. Love the new boat and already out having fun. Jerry did a great job teaching about the boat and safety. Way above and beyond what would be expected. Janet did awesome with the paperwork and follow up and just making sure things were done right. All the staff there was friendly and knowledgeable. My next boat will definitely be bought there.

Out standing personal, I didn't tell them what to look for, but the figured it out. I will keep taking my boat to them until I retire it. Great Work. I wanted to buy them some beer. They didn't hurt my pocket either. Just Thank you is all I have to add.

I inquired about a boat online last week, and zeke had informed me it was under contract, no big deal for me i was just starting to get into the market for a boat. Told him to let me know if anything changed, he texted me tuesday morning letting me know it is still available. He was super incredible with helping me figure out the financing and what my bank needed over the phone, got the buyers order sent over, and super quick responses to any questions i had. When I went to view the boat, it was kept incredibly clean, and they took good care of making sure everything worked and functioned properly! He did tell me it would be a $500 deposit for a test drive which did stress me out some (i helped my boyfriend purchase a vehicle the day prior) and he ended up bypassing the deposit and taking me out on the water anyways which i greatly appreciated! Although I wish it was summer so I can take it out immediately, he is going to winterize the boat back for me at no charge which is AWESOME!! On our test drive we had a minor mishap with one of the hoses, which he told me today he is ordering the part and fixing the remaining issues before allowing me to take the boat, which is so appreciated so i won’t have any further issues down the road. I have not picked up the boat yet, but the service Zeke and his team have provided to me so far is beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a boat, don’t overlook these guys!

JD and everyone I encountered at St. Charles Boat and Motor were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very honest and fair with pricing. I have no doubt they will stand behind their products. I would recommend them to anyone and I’ll be back for all of my future watercraft needs.

I took my Yamaha AR190 boat in for repairs/body work and Jerry, Zeke and Janet have been wonderful. Honest and good people!!! These guys came highly recommended, and I can now see why. THANK YOU, St. Charles Boat & Motor Staff!!!!

Staff couldn't have been kinder and more helpful when we needed to buy a new trailer for our boat that we were pulling thru stl on our way home to Kansas. They were quick to respond to all our questions, transfer the boat from the old trailer to new, and help us find a place to recycle the deceased trailer. Thanks to zeke and all the ladies at the front counter for getting us out of a pickle and safely back on our way!
