Right on Little Bay. Great views. At the start of St Lawrence Gap. My wife ordered the lamb shank. She thought it was tasty but too little lamb. I had the barracuda blackened and it was great. Recommend that you reserve your time so you get a seat by the water.

Very lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent and possibly the best Tacos we ever had. The main course was delicious. We will surely dine here again.

Great location right at the start of St. Lawrence Gap that overlooks the bay. The atmosphere is perfect as we had a table overlooking the water - make sure to get a reservation to get a good spot. Mia, our server, was outstanding and extremely friendly. We found the food to be good and responsibly priced. The only complaint was the speed of service was a little slow and it could have been because of Mother's Day. Overall, we would visit again.

Initial welcome and seating was just really poor. Then a young wine waiter came along and he was fantastic! The most fabulous steak but the dessert 👎🏽. Great setting and great memories.

The location is great especially if you get a table overlooking the sea. Service is friendly. But sadly the food was a complete let down. The coconut shrimp was a small portion for $30 and quite bland. Same for the Bajan basket. Even the plantain chips were average. The dark & stormy cocktail was also quite dull. Maybe it were the dishes I chose but overall I can’t recommend this restaurant

Where to eat in Barbados!! Ate here on my first night in Barbados, absolutely loved it. The Restaurant it self is on the beach and has beautiful views of the Sea. The Food was amazing I Really enjoyed my meal. Great Restaurant for date night or birthday meals. Good Cocktails, could have been a bit stronger but OK. Definitely would visit here again. This was the best place we ate at in Barbados, and we tried quite a few places. Many others were good, but this was just a step above the rest in every aspect. The quality of the food, the service, the setting and the views were all amazing. I would definitely come back again.

Went four years ago on honeymoon and it was amazing but unfortunately totally different experience this time. Ordered starter and main, food was lovely, was then asked if we wanted dessert which we declined. We hadn’t even finished our drinks and waitress dropped the bill on the table and said there’s your bill. Still not finished drinks and she came back and said cash or card, which we replied we are finishing our drinks first. Safe to say we won’t be revisiting. Expect better service for the prices charged

The team was working really hard. In fact in hindsight they were probably understaffed but the service was nice. The soup was served with the saltfish at first stranded on the plate and then the soup poured for effect. I get what they were going for but it was just too pretentious for what it needed to be. Food was good but i wasn't blown away. Right by the water so the atmosphere was nice.

Don’t be fooled by the nice view here. Unfortunately I got food poisoning when I ate here in May. I ordered the catch of the day and the dish they described when ordering was not what I was given (different sauce and sides than what the waiter mentioned) so I believe they gave me old leftovers instead of fresh food. The fish (pictured below) had a strange texture and presentation was terrible. The potatoes were so salty they were inedible. I was sick to my stomach all night and the following few days after eating here. Very disappointing. Update in response to owner’s reply below- unfortunately I was not compensated for my meal, so there must have been someone else who also had an issue with their meal that month. I just wanted to bring this to your attention as the quality of the food that day was concerning and made me sick. I appreciate you looking into this.

Came for sunset dinner, was sat by the ocean beautiful views romantic vibe. Food and service was good. My favorite part of the dinner was the dessert creme brulee, Oh! one more highlight we made a little friend a kitty named Void.

As a Bajan coming home, this used to be one of my favorite places until my last visit. The manager "Karen" was unable to explain why she couldn't seat us at the table we wanted in a completely EMPTY restaurant, then she proceeded to explain that she was sorry WE didn't understand. Oh dear. Let's get to the food. The breadfruit chips were clearly prepared a few hours before and had lost their crunch. The catch of the day was caught fresh out of the freezer and the menu has clearly been changed to fit a more westernized tasteless patron. I just want Karen to know that when we come home we does spend nuff money too. I ain't coming bak there! 100000% dissatisfied with the food menu and Karen. The bar staff on the other hand....they know what they are doing. The drinks were great. The view was breathtaking. Karen ruined one of my fav places to eat when I'm at home....please consider making the menu more reflective of our local produce!

Our experience at Castaways is always very pleasant. The food and the service is fantastic. It's one of my most favorite places to eat.

The entire experience was great from beginning until the end. Waited for our table near the bar and had a really nice bartender making cocktails and a mocktail for my friend. The food was spectacular. I had the chicken satay and shrimp salad. Both were beautifully made and were delicious.

This place has really flavoursome food. Some of the best food we have tried so far in Barbados. Fantastic views of the sea, nice to listen to the gentle rhythm of the sea. Good vegetarian options. Our group of four tried the beetroot salad, spinach arancini, and vegetable risotto. All well balanced flavours. Our friend also tried the smoked ribs and was impressed. Dessert was a trio of creme brulee including an unusual scotch bonnet flavour. This place has recently reopened with a new menu so definitely worth checking out. Staff all very friendly. Usual covid checks in place.

I’ve been sleeping on Castaways! On a friend’s recommendation, I recently checked it out. An upstairs reservation was a great decision for a late Mother’s Day dinner. Great service and delicious food. Portion sizes were quite fair.

Good service. Food nice, although my wife ordered a burger and asked for it well done. When it arrived it was still red in the middle but credit to the staff, they offered to replace it and knocked the price of the burger off the bill.

2 star last night but can be 5 star any other night! Inconsistency in standard of service and food needs to be addressed. Not a dining experience last night thats for sure. But one week later a completely different experience. The key is management and consistency!! There's lots of mediocre places around you need to stand out for quality AND service.

Located in the St. Lawrence Gap, this restaurant is very cute. It looks like it was in a old house or was designed to look like such. The good thing is that all the tables have a ocean view. We really enjoyed that. We waited an hour for our food but you have to understand that things in the Caribbean are different from the United States and other countries. They are on island time here, which means there is no rush. So when you go to dinner here, expect a wait, as for other restaurants as well. The pizza was very good. This place is very safe and easy to get to and from via taxis.

Situated at the entrance of St. Lawrence Gap. Had a birthday dinner with a friend. It was lovely. The exterior does not speak to what is actually hidden inside. It was a pleasant surprise. In the foyer is a display of local painting and warm friendly staff to greet you. Upstairs is a balcony overlooking the beach and a beautiful display of light reflecting on the water from the surrounding buildings. The food and drinks are both great. Great for families, or couples. Highly recommend it.

Burger was very good! Jacket potato was really potato skins with lots of cheese, lovely I am sure if you love cheese. Atmosphere was a bit cold, needs more people and I am sure great to watch a sporting event. Overall it is what I expected for a American style sports bar.

Celebrated my son's birthday here today for the 5th time since he was 7 years old (something we do annually for both his birthday in January and mine in February) and we have to say excellent service from beginning to end. We made our reservation and placed our order online and it was totally smooth sailing....as soon as we arrived we were seated and our order came with absolutely no issues. Definitely worth the $$ and time. Keep up the great work Alphea, Stephanie, server who brought my son's birthday brownie which he was quite looking forward to, Davion and the rest of the Bubba's team! See you again soon

It was nice, and not too crowded, service was pretty good and they've thought out their precautions thoroughly. The Sunday buffet is, alas, gone, as expected. The carb portions are huge, the protein portions teeny. I wasn't able to order fruit separately...that's an option that really should be available. Fruit is usually a popular breakfast item. I don't suggest the french toast...was a bit heavy on the essence. Just a tad overwhelming. A good experience overall.

Very nice. They are observing social distancing and other covid19 protocols and it is still a relaxing comfortable place to enjoy.

If you are missing "American food" you can find it at Bubba's sports bar. I ordered the nachos which were amazing and my husband ordered barbeque chicken wings. Delicious!! Because we were in "hotel quarantine" we also ordered the southern chicken sandwich( like Popeyes or chick filet) with fries. It was good!!

Had a nice meal here one night with a waterside table, good varied menu, from pizza to fish etc. Service a little slow but all staff good. There is a service charge on your bill but when we wanted to pay they gave us the option of adding a tip on the card machine!! Be careful or you could be tipping twice!! Did not like this and i am sure many add a tip unaware of the service charge. You can't have it both ways.

Brilliant Restaurant and if you get there for sunset and ask to sit upstairs you will get stunning pictures. I had the pumpkin soup and chicken cordon bleu. Well presented and lovely flavours. Staff friendly too. If you come to Barbados you should visit this restaurant

Absolutely awesome. Have been there two nights in a row. Food is outstanding, drinks are great and service good as well. If you are looking for a nice restaurant, with a perfect ocean view…that’s your choice!

Great place right on the water. You can easily hear the waves. Part of the roof is retractable so you can sit outside when it's not too sunny or raining. I would say this was the best service of all the restaurants we been to on the island. Staff were very attentive and came by to check often. Made sure our water cups were refilled and other beverages flowing.

Had Breadfruit chips and bread from their bar snacks, and the bread was like rubber. The chips were good with the garlic aioli. I had the chicken tacos because I wasn't in the mood for fish that night, and oh how I regretted it. It was very bland, and I ended up using the remaining garlic aioli from the breadfruit chips to give it flavor. My groups fish dishes were said to be great by them, and I trust their judgment. The staff was lovely, nice drinks and atmosphere. I plan to try there again.

Great restaurant in a lovely setting with sea views. We arrived earlier than we normally would so was a little quiet however it meant we have a great table overlooking the sea. The staff couldn’t have done any more for us very attentive offering details on the catch of the day. I opted for this, and had it blackened, it was very nice, spicy sauce was separate encase you didn’t like it too hot. We also had tacos which was a large portion and pizzas again fairly large so had a carry out box for the leftovers. There are cheaper places on the gap but not with the views we had so it was a nice setting with the sunset. This was one of our friends recommendations and we would return.
