Bar 557 is a must visit. Rustic and trendy with dark wood, deep colors and celebratory lighting intersect. Rum punch is the best we’ve had. We all ordered the fish and fries. The marlin was grilled and well seasoned the fries tasted hand cut. Beers were cold. Nice music and relaxed vibe. Owner’s hospitality is like he is welcoming you to have an adult beverage in his hip living room. Love this place

good local food better than any we visited at Oistins and a bit cheaper /clean toilets always a good sign

I love this place! Donovan and Shnea are awesome! I wandered in last week, for a beer, and now it feels like home. The food is amazing. The vibe is chill and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Only 4* for atmosphere as we were the only customers, although Donovan was a brilliant host. The food was excellent. The rum punch was delicious but lethal (although nobody forced me to drink it!) Besides running this gem of a bar, Donovan is a great, reliable, amusing and helpful taxi driver!

Just ate here for the first time this evening, absolute hidden gem, would highly recommend to those looking for great food, service and character off the well worn path! If you come to Barbados be sure not to miss out on this wicked little joint!

Cold beers, very tasty dinners (I had the fish with chips and salad), and a nice place to chill. Know before you go: at time of posting, the bar is open on Friday and Saturday evenings, from ~4:30 onwards.

Excellent bar, chilled out bar with a really great host. Cold beer, great vibes, open during this downturn, what more could you want on an evening?

This was a little out of the way but amazing food!! Ashley knows how to cook! Had the fish and wings which were delicious! We are going to go back again before we leave!!!

I had the grilled mahi-mahi, pasta and plain salad. Everything was excellent. Portion sizes were just right and the food was tasty. The atmosphere was relaxing and I felt like I was one of the Bar 557 family. I definitely would go there again.

Friendly staff and tasty food. There is karaoke on the last Saturday in the month and it is set back from the main road so don't have the bother of traffic passing all the time especially buses and interrupting conversations

Service was good, and the food was good as well. Great hideaway for these times when you feel uncomfortable in large crowds.

Food has been the best on the island so far…. Wow thanks so much for looking after us… so friendly and the food was so tasty. Would recommend this to anyone.

Live music on friday nights and karaoke every last Saturday of the month the Host donovan is a real comedian or so he thinks🤣 he is always welcoming no matter what time u pop in 🤭The beers are always super cold n the fish n chips are well seasoned will always recommend this Bar to anyone
