The best bar on the Gap. Hal is so friendly and his prices are great. He stocks pretty much every spirit you could want and takes the time to talk to you and make you feel welcome. You have to visit him if just to say hello but with Banks beer at 5 bds you may as well stay as they aren't cheaper anywhere else!

At Hal's is like visiting family. A cozy bar, with lively vibes and music. A great hang out place.

Karaoke was nice as usual especially for my birthday. A nice old lady sang "Sweet 16" for me lol now im feeling like 16 years old 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great bar- staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Good spot for karaoke in the earlier part of the week! The drinks are VERY strong but that's no bad thing! Popular with both Bajans and tourists.

Staying across the street at a hotel I find the loud karaoke that goes til 2:30 / 3am unbearable. Why do the speakers need to be so loud that the whole block can hear the karaoke. It’s selfish to the hotels nearby and to the other restaurants nearby. Karaoke is a great time but not that it’s so loud it keeps you up every single night.

It's nice, friendly atmosphere, not at all pretentious. TV screens for a bit of fun. Frankly perfect for my needs. Small, simple, sublime.

Just come back from a two week stay around St Lawrence's Gap, and we went here several times and must say we found it great musis with a very friendly vibe. I had a great time with the DJ and the party was a ton of fun. Air quality sucked as people were allowed to smoke in the vicinity. Overall, it's fantastic if you are with good friends, might not have gone in if I were alone or on a date.

Great (strong) drinks and social atmosphere. Visited here a couple times on my trip. Karaoke nights are fun, staff are friendly, overall good value for money at the bar. Great place to hangout/meet people. Location is also close to other bars, clubs, food vendors etc.

Emerson is a great host, accommodating and a refreshing friendly face compared to the rest of the staff in South Gap! You must visit him for a chat and a Banks!

Great place! Some Australian guy sang Billy Idol's 'White Wedding' and nailed it, crowd were absolutely loving it. Didn't hit all the notes but jeez he had energy. Won't forget that for a while.

They were out of Caesar salad so we had the fish cakes and fish sticks which were good. We also tried the macaroni pie which was pretty good too! Pricey with all the service fees...just like most things in Barbados where tourists are attracted.

Drinks were fine. I only had the bbq wings and they were okay though a bit overcooked. Tasted the crab samosas those were great! My friends' burgers were disappointingly cold especially as they waited a while for them. So overall not a place I'd rush back to.

There were mixed reviews about this place my sister niece and I sat at the outside tables overlooking the boardwalk and the sea very cooling and pleasant the meals were very appetising and fresh couldn't fault the fish dishes waitress was very friendly and helpful all in all not ruinously expensive we lingered for sometime cocktails very good quite a few people arrived for lunch but good social distancing

Hal’s is a Vibe. Wish the owner would wisen up and bring back karaoke and do so more than 3 nights a week. Hal’s is basically DEAD unless there is karaoke. Which is actually kinda cool when you don’t feel like having a crowd of ppl around you. The karaoke guy sings the most crazy songs and it’s hilarious. Go. Have a rum sour. Enjoy.

We wouldn’t dare go in. Packed like sardines in a can on a Saturday night, and not a single mask to be seen. It’s a Petrie dish. No wonder Barbados’ numbers are so high.

Located right on the boardwalk this place is great for a casual meal. The views from here are very nice. The sea breeze is relaxing and the menu is sufficient. Staff are not professionally trained but are helpful. You have open air and covered seating options available. There is also a bar if you just want to stop by for a drink and watch some sports on the televisions. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings give this place a nice weekend vibe. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to sit back and relax.
