A lovely place for an evening out by the ocean. Almost every evening there is live music and the crowd generally appreciates the atmosphere that is created. The food is reasonable and the service is better than in other places. I recommend this place.

Wonderful view with decent food and decent prices. We went on a Monday evening and there was a wonderful live musician who played various instruments and sang. It was very nice as background music, and some folks closer to his 'stage' got up to dance a bit. Great place for a nice dinner at sunset and some drinks (the rum punch is wonderfully strong, highly recommend).

Little restaurant right off the boardwalk. Beautiful views and a full menu. Just before sunset is a great time to go (add a little bug repellent to be comfortable ). From several experiences stick to the fish dishes and you will be very pleased. The prices are reasonable for a touristy spot on the water. The knowledgeable staff can assist with decisions and is often nearby and ready to help.

A nice relaxed ocean view eating experience. Good if you are being Covid cautious : open air, not too crowded once you go before about 7pm and you can ask for masked wait staff. Thaila was our server and she rocked!

Located right on the boardwalk this place is great for a casual meal. The views from here are very nice. The sea breeze is relaxing and the menu is sufficient. Staff are not professionally trained but are helpful. You have open air and covered seating options available. There is also a bar if you just want to stop by for a drink and watch some sports on the televisions. Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings give this place a nice weekend vibe. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to sit back and relax.

The place is perfect to get down with the drinks. Amazing bar tenders, like ur friends. They even get you taxi if you're drunk! Lol.

Sigh....my experience was terrible. It was a large table but if you are a restaurant you have to know what you can handle. Maybe 15 people...a mix or orders. Surf and turf came out first so 4 people had to go ahead and eat. Was salty and overcooked. Some pasta came out and some didn't. Waaaaaaay after the the steak. Some finished the meal before other food arrived. In future I wouldn't go for the food. Maybe drinks and to hangout because its outdoor and beachfront....ish

This was in Hastings on the beach, the staff were very friendly and found us a table. I had the boardwalk burger and my husband has the chicken skewers. Everything was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed our meal. It had a good atmosphere and good music playing in the background.

We were seated relatively quickly... altho the host hmmmmd when we asked to be seated in view of the singer. We could have sat anywhere tho, cus Philip 7 sang but his instrumental didn't compliment his singing. Food was expensive... we paid extra for coleslaw as the host didn't mention the meal came with coleslaw... hence two portions on 1 plate. The burger was woody n lacked seasoning so l got a takeaway crate for it... my partner had to add pepper to his fish n pasta for taste .. kinda catered for that bland euro palate. We ordered 2 mudslides but l could taste no bayleys no kahlua n there was 1 single stripe of chocolate syrup... reallll poor taste and cost $25. My partner wanted to try blakeys as its his nick but l didn't... my experience was not bad but was definitely not good enough to inspire another visit. They were lots of tissues littering the floor.

Blakeys on the Boardwalk is the most convenient bar and restaurant located on the Hastings Boardwalk. Good food, service, open and outdoor space, most convenient and safe for all guests.

It's an ok place, nice get out of the house, go to place. Lady bartender is quite professional and an alright person.

Drinks were fine. I only had the bbq wings and they were okay though a bit overcooked. Tasted the crab samosas those were great! My friends' burgers were disappointingly cold especially as they waited a while for them. So overall not a place I'd rush back to.

They were out of Caesar salad so we had the fish cakes and fish sticks which were good. We also tried the macaroni pie which was pretty good too! Pricey with all the service fees...just like most things in Barbados where tourists are attracted.

Simple place by the ocean. Doing everything to keep the Covid 19 protocols in place - so quite safe. Ordered the Thai curry... It was nothing like a Thai curry but yet was delicious 😋. They have outdoor seating so you can hear the ocean and feel the breeze.

Best Fish Cakes I have had in years in any restaurant. Surprise Surprise they have Fish which is much different to most offerings around nowadays. They were made even better with some added fresh pepper. Cannot be beaten.

Nice patio facing the walk and the ocean. Great deals on drinks and appetizers during happy hour (5:00-6:00 pm). Pub style mains and sandwiches with good flavors and presentation. Easy going and focused staff. Very popular place for food and drinks.

I ordered two dishes from this restaurant using the food delivery company. Catch of the day was just ok, fish didn’t have any taste. The green curry was good, but the size is really surprised me. For $24USD ($48BD) I got 4 tablespoons of curry. Look at photos.

Went for the 1st time and was very impressed by the band called Kites who play on Friday between 5 30 to 7 30. Happy hour: pina colada is bds 7 RUM PUNCH BDS5 A lovely ambience and food is good too.

What can you say about Blakey's that is nothing but good. Great location, excellent food and plentiful alcoholic drinks🤣🤣 and the night we went (6 of us) they had live music that was top of the line. Little pricey (but then that's Barbados) Suggest you make a reservation if you plan on going otherwise you might be disappointed as it is very popular with locals. Great food, great service, and on week ends good music. Don't plan on spending a rushed evening there. Its a whole evening type of deal. Food, drink, dancing and LOUD conversation.

Prices reasonable. Service a little slow on my visit however there were a lot of people and only one waitress. Flying fish sandwich was a good lunch, watch the hot sauce, it's pretty hot for table sauce.

Best time to eat is in the evening.

So so, food could be better.

Great cafe/bar situated right on the boardwalk overlooking the sea. Large outside seating area and tables inside for those who don't like the sun. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food has aways been good and then there's always the drinks. The bar has live music nights, so if you're on the boardwalk stop and try it

I had so many fun nights and days while I was in Barbados. They even let me stay late to watch the end of the NFL playoff game. Miss you all can't wait to come back.

Nice place on the boardwalk. I got the flying fish with the grilled potatoes. The potatoes would have been much better if they cooked the a little longer with a little more heat.

We stayed in Barbados for 2 weeks and had to have gone to Blakey's at least 4 times. The food and the atmosphere was so good we just had to keep coming back. You can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu...it is also delicious!

Great outdoor setting for drinks and bar food. They are also a sports bar, so it is a good place to come watch a game or match. The drinks are reasonably priced, the service is great and you should try the fishcakes.

Tried Blakeys last night after recommendations from some friends . Honestly it was okay the hostess was amazing such rare service and that deserved 5 stars!! The food was nothing to shout about but the drinks were bussing!

I had a good time there for taco Thursday the food was nice but the wait was too long.

Just amazing. The food, the vibe, the staff. We went in January by chance on a Wednesday eve and saw Alex Cummins play (definitely check him out) and loved it so much we went back 3 times when on the island in May. Nothing is too much, every time the staff were personable and you were made to feel super looked after in every way. The food was always cooked to perfection and the drinks were strooong. Watch out!

We went there last Wednesday just b4 a group of 60 school kids arrived (they were a credit to their school by the way) . The service was amazing friendly and engaging. My meal was excellent the burger just melted in my mouth . We will be back

Excellent veggie chilli with rice and salad. Sprinkled a little Bajan hot sauce for that extra zing. Delicious. There was live music but, it is advisable to reserve a table if you want a prime spot.

We were two for dinner on a weekend. Service was super friendly and efficient. We ordered mahi-mahi w garlic mash and chicken alfredo pasta. Both very good. We had reserved an ocean view table. There's a major construction project next door which quits at 5 pm but can obstruct your view. Come early. Recommended.

Highly recommend stopping in for dinner at Blakeys! The chicken Alfredo was one of best pastas I’ve ever had. I will be thinking of that dish until I visit the island again. My husband and friends also enjoyed their meals. The service was good and they were able to accommodate a table of 4 without reservations.
