Coconut shrimp and fish cakes are awesome. But really I came for the Bajan Mudslide - my eyes literally rolled back into my head every time I drink one of these - the balance between chocolate and rum is absolutely sublime! Our only issue was that the high chairs are significantly lower than the tables, which means a child won’t be able to reach their meal AND the high chair straps were broken so if like me, you have a crawling toddler, you’ll spend the time making sure they don’t launch themselves over the side of the chair to their death below or otherwise holding the little squirmer on your lap with one arm while you try to eat with the other.

Once again looking for somewhere to watch FIFA World Cup and found Sharley's. Lots of TVs, good service, and good food. We watched the first match of the day and wished we had stayed. We shared the chicken nachos and they were very good.

The flying fish burgers were wonderful. Love the unique flavor of that little slice of plantain in the burger. Really good fries too.

St. Lawrence Gap Sharkeys is the Best my husband and I went 2/3/23 at 3pm and the food was out of this world , the margaritas on point and the STAFF is wonderful and friendly the best place to come , they make you feel so comfortable and welcomed and made sure we was ok with water and anything else , I highly recommend this place , awesome super awesome, food is GREAT

Best burgers ever! Been here 4 times and still not fed up of them, I'm going to miss these when we fly back home. They are tastier burgers than the Uk! Highly recommend!

Staff are very laid back, which I know is Barbados people and they are lovely. But I ordered a rum and coke and a glass of wine. I got a rum punch instead of a rum and coke, when I went to pay the bill I was charged for a bottle of wine at $65 . Staff weren’t interested when I highlighted the fact. Be careful.

Our go to restaurant for our first night in Barbados. An excellent bar fir the local vibe and surprisingly a large selection of foods on their menu. Service is always quick and the bar atmosphere is top notch. My first choice is always the sticky baby back ribs!

Another recommendation from our friends and we visited twice. Wow the burger was probably the best I have ever had. Chips however on our first visit as pictured were not the best bit soft and greasy, but this didn't stop us returning. The restaurant has a great vibe busy with those just wanting a cocktall and or those wanting to eat. Nachos are huge, we returned as we liked the vibe and my wife wanted to have the burger having had the chicken one first time round that had plantain in it, first time experience and not to her taste :) Prices are reasonable I was told the cocktails are good but I stuck with the Banks. You have to give this place a try unless you want a silent meal then its not for you.

First visit to the Gap in many years, and great to see it back to some of it's former glory. Dropped in for drinks and dinner. Friendly staff, good choice of both food and drinks, however was totally shocked by food prices, even by Barbados standards. Had chicken and potato curry, which was basically a $10 roti on a plate for $50! Decent enough food, but certainly tourist trap prices.

I visited this restaurant while on vacation with my husband and son. Food was delicious, service was excellent and I loved the ambiance. Highly recommend.

Went to Sharkey’s for lunch. The drinks were great and so was the clubhouse. The fish cakes were amazing!! The service was somewhat on the slow side.

Quite an affordable place with very nice drinks. The music got a bit repetitive, but other than that I have no complaints. As it is not usually a super busy place, you can just go there without any reservations prevuously made.

Drinks were good and the atmosphere awesome, friendly staff, would definitely be my choice for another outing with friends

Sharkey's has excellent cocktails and their snack foods are delicious (especially their popcorn shrimp if they still serve it). Great, cosy atmosphere too!

We went for fishcakes and wings but had a terrific experience while at Sharkeys, Fabian, Dwayne & Kendra are an amazing team. The food was delicious,presentation on point with appropriate portion sizes. The drinks ...100% fab. We got there late but they accommodated us, the atmosphere was relaxing and the rapport between us and the staff was quite awesome..lots of laughter ensued. I will definitely be back..but earlier lol

Absolutely love this place ! Top of my list is the INCREDIBLE service! The staff literally makes you feel like you're the only customer in the place! They smile, laugh have fun with you all the while hecking in to see if you need anything, when your drink is almost empty, they cone almost immediately your plates are done to take them away.... AWESOME service! The fish cakes and chicken wings are superb!!! Great time out, with great food, service and it's fast!

Great venue which has changed over the years, which used to be amazing. Service quite slow now and not very attentive even when sitting at the bar having a beer, it took 20mins to order. Possibly lack of staff? Good place to watch the premier league!

We had a great experience here - we ate multiple dinners here. Good service, and the flying fish cutter is best fish sandwich we've had on the island. We will be back next time we are here.

We celebrated my husband's birthday there today, I was very impressed at how quickly my daughter's food came and how friendly all the staff were. My husband had steak, I had sticky wings and our daughter had a burger....everything was amazing. We will definitely be back.

So trying to be global my review scores are based on my worldwide perspective not the local (Barbados) one. Service was below average here. Hostess very rude, food took about 45min to get to the table. No one is interested to check if you are doing good or not. Food was above average, nothing you could die for, the curry chicken was no more than 5oz. Coconut Shrimp was good, 6 very large pieces, optimum quality Place was very Clean, is a Open small Bar and Restaurant few feet from the street with high Benches and some tables

Definitely one of the better restaurants on the Gap. The food was amazing. There is a very good range of drinks at the bar as well, fully stocked! A good place to have a sit down meal, or if you just want to grab a drink.

Greeted with a smile and welcome before being asked to observe the Covid protocols. Choice of seating and noticed sanitizing of seats and eating surfaces happening. Ribs were VERY good. Downside were the mosquitoes which were a nuisance.

Tried this place after reading the good reviews as we were staying nearby. Seated straight away and looked after by Lisa, drinks and food came quickly. We had spicy fish bites and salt fish cakes to start, followed by coconut shrimp and king fish. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Didn’t try Desert because we didn’t have room left to eat anything else.

Where should I start. I ordered Blackened fish, which when it came was a nice golden brown with traces of black pepper on it. Also had seasoned wedges, was burnt and some of the wedges not cooked properly or seasoned. The alfredo pasta was missing a few ingredients, it just wasn't great. Other than that it was a good time.

Food was decent, was here with family of four. Very vibrant atmosphere with lots of drinks and drink specials. Steak was juicy and flavorful, chips were bland and undercooked. The kicker is our server was the worst server I have had in my memory. I would of rated 4 stars if not for the terrible service. It took us longer to get the bill than the wait for our food (which was average). Very rude service from our waiter.

A roadside cafe in St Lawrence Gap. Warm attentive service with the owner on the floor participating in the service. This is a perfect hangout for those looking for a more casual and informal setting with a genuine local feel. I recommend the Pasta Alfredo with chicken as a standout on their menu. Do enjoy.
