I ate here most evenings during my stay in Barbados and I must say that the food was of an extremely high quality. Excellent service, attention and presentation from staff I honestly couldn’t recommend this enough.

The staff were so professional, funny and friendly. Went to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and everything was amazing. The atmosphere was really nice the live music was phenomenal. The food was immaculate and the drinks were delicious and well mixed. The live performer sang happy birthday specifically for my friend and other guests within the restaurant began to sing also it was incredible he really enjoyed it! The restaurant manager who mixes her own drinks for the guest gave us a mix to taste and it was very tasty. Our experience here was truly special!

Best restaurant on the beach. Beautiful views and plenty of seats to chill or study. Perfect spot to eat, study, and have fun. Highly recommend!

Had breakfast here every morning during my stay at The Bougainvillea. Breakfast ks simple but tasty. Service was great. The croissants are the softest warmest most buttery you'll ever eat!

Good food but a bit over priced for what it is. I suppose you are also paying for the location. I believe I paid around $25-30BDS for what's in the picture. You can get similar or more food at Oistins fish fry.

Our family had a fantastic, all round entertaining evening, friendly staff and Great cuisine highly recommended. a must do when your in Barbados you will not be disappointed

1 star for food and service. The second star is only because the live music is nice and it's conveniently located on hotel property. Skip this place if you have other options.

The food was okay, nothing outstanding, but good value. Catch of the day was the best dish. Breakfast buffet though, in my opinion, is overpriced. Splendid view!

Update on my previous review, bringing up the rating from 3 (3.5) to 4 stars. We gave this place another try for dinner and I can say that it was much better, a bit inconsistent across the same dish but it was for the better. This time I had the same Thai Red Shrimp dish (it was different) but very flavorful and great, my husband had for main course the appetizer salad with added shrimp and it was also great so bumping their rating… I guess it’s hard to be consistent with the chef and rotating staff. —— 3.5 stars for this place and here’s the breakdown: Catch of the day: we ordered the blackened fish which came blackened and fried? This was confusing… the spices they used felt like tasting detergent, the green beans were very dry, the potatoes well… they were potatoes, and the overall dish was below average. Red Thai shrimp curry: this dish was really good, everything tasted excellent and no complains here! Wine: if you Google or Vivino their wine offerings per glass you’ll notice that these are $6-$12 per bottle (nothing wrong with the price but at least pick something that is decent and not mediocre) and they’re a 3 star in flavor profile at max… and yes, we got a glass of the French rosé and it was okay… Crème Brûlée: meh! The custard was cold, dry, and not worth the calories… just bad. Service: this one is tricky as most of the wait staff are super friendly, attentive and caring but our waitress wasn’t super friendly… so maybe she was having a bad evening and this can be different depending on when you come.

I just ordered the bbq pork ribs and a mai tai and it may have been the worst food (definitely value wise) I’ve ever not eaten. It was inedible… I genuinely left my dish and drink. Way too rich over sweet absolutely dowsed in bbq sauce. And not bbq’d by cooking. The Mac and cheese on the side was much too sweet and the fried plantain soggy. The mai tai was unbearable and sickly sweet. More than double orgeat I’d expect. 🤢 I do think this must be the worst dish on the menu gauging from over reviews

Reservations required. Food and service were fantastic!! Burgers were out of this world. Kid friendly. We ate here for dinner and ordered lunch while at the pool.

Had weekend brunch with a few friends, the atmosphere was very relaxing. Staff was efficient and friendly loved the fact that the Food and Drink manager went to each table to personally check in😃. I kept it simple with the Calabash burger and mango smoothie, very filling (even tho it didn't look that way😄)and would go again!

Service is stellar. The staff is quite attentive and still allows the diner to take their time to enjoy both the meal and the environment.

Beautiful setting beach front, simple but tasty Lunch menu (we went on a Sunday). Steel drums played in the background and the Cocktails nice. Would definitely repeat this experience. Photo is view from our table.

My wife and I ate there several times over the course of a week. The food was always excellent, and the staff was exceptional. It has a peaceful seaside atmosphere with occasional live music. Highly recommended.

Upbeat and extremely friendly staff. Great menu selections and daily specials. During our two weeks stay, no meal disappointed us. Started our day with a full breakfast, never left hungry. Looking forward to 2020 when we return.

Beautiful place, beautifully presented food, mediocre for the price. Not many option to choose from and the portions are small. I'm not a big eater, one burger can fill me; the burger here was just too small and too expensive. Left me hungry

Service was too slow

I booked a reservation for weekend brunch and it was AMAZING. I ordered the berry mimosa as soon as I sat down. Then for my meals, I started off with the S’mores French Toast and followed up with the Bajan Jerk Pasta while my other party had the Fish Tacos. The customer service, the flavour and presentation of the dishes were AMAZING. The only minor disappointment is that they didn’t have the salted caramel cheesecake which I really wanted even before I chose a starter and main. All in all, I had a blast. I’ll definitely be back. I wish I could rate them 10 out of 5 stars. It was that great.

Had a nice family lunch at Calabash Cafe yesterday, good and timely service, pleasant views and overall a nice relaxing place to have family lunch in Barbados.
