Must stop by here when at Accra beach. Owner Joe pays such great attention to ALL his customers and makes the place the best place it is. So close to the beach, Chicken George can basically be your own little private bar and food spot. I would not be surprised if he brought drinks out to your spot on the beach...his customer service is THAT good!!

I didn't eat chicken at George's but right next to it. We had the best fish cakes ever for 6 bajan!!! The sauce is super amazing!! Will return for more!

The most succulent crispy fried chicken I've ever had, with very good fries and delicious salad/slaw with a touch of dressing (honey mustard?). Top rum punch, great service at very affordable prices AND accepts card payments. Lovely setting at Rockley Beach.

We have been Coming to this wonderful bar for nearly 10 years. There is always a very warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble for Jason and his 'crew'. Shawn cooks all the lovely food which is delicious. Highly recommend this place for food, cocktails as well as cold beers.......

Place is great, good for a cheap lunch. Food is decent and owner is amazing. Really hustles to make sure everyone is taken care of. We've been twice on two seperate trips to Barbados. Give it a try, prepare to be close to others you may not know. Space is limited.

The customer service is excellent a chicken George. we had a minor set back and we were offered complimentary drinks. The food was pretty good too and affordable

My hubby and I just had a rum punch from Chick George. Hubby says its one of the best on the island, especially as additional rum was added as the punch was near completion. As I type my head is lite, there4 the job of the rum punch has been effective. Marvellous. Big Thanks 2 Chick George 😊

Jason was lovely (owners son) seated us showed us the menu and the rest as they say is history! Delicious food (chicken, chips & salad), cocktails & banks beers. Got talking about the Arsenal plaque which said was his dad's and talked about football! Great place, one to visit while here!

What sets this apart from the other food chains in the area is how accommodating the staff is and the reasonable price of their food. I suggest the Grilled Fish and Salad. They accept debit/credit cards. It’s not a restaurant, but a stall on the right side of the beach (if you are facing the sea). Been in Barbados 9 days and I kept coming back to their place.

Awesome place. We got the macaroni pie and fried fish sandwich. Both were seasoned excellently. The bartender was real nice and made some real good run punches. They were so good we bought a pre-made bottle to go. Prices are super reasonable and ambiance can't be beat. We arrived and they were playing YouTube music videos of Rihanna and The Weeknd on one television. The other televisions were tuned into Sky Sports Cricket. What's not to love? And they take card.

We arrived on island after picking up a few things at Massy, we went there to grab a bite to eat. We were greated by a friendly host, didn't get his name. Waited for a bit but we had a delicious grilled fish, fries, salad & fruit kebab & its affordable

Try the Flyfish sandwich with their hot sauce. Incredible!

Jason is ace, and nothing is to much for this little beach bar. The special rum punch is the best I have had on the island! Also the fish cakes are great.

Second visit here, these guys are fantastic, it’s very well priced, great food and brilliant service 10/10 from us 😀 1 coke, 1 rum punch, 2 pina colada, 2 bottles of banks 2 fish cutters, 2 portions of fries, 1 ham and cheese cutter, 1 spicy fried chicken platter, 2 mango smoothies £61 👍🏻 We all know how expensive this island is for food, but these guys are keeping it real 👊

BEST PINA COLADA's on the Island :) You have to make a point to stop here and have a drink, sing karaoke (or just sit back and observe like I did!) and grab a bite.

All the vendors play their music at the same time and it is easy to get a headache. It is located in a brilliant area, beautiful beach. Shagees is here too. Serves some exciting and very different food - their Bake n Shark had a long queue for it. CG is attentive to his customers. But get the music sorted between you. One play today, someone else the next day

Jason has to be the most friendly person on the island. He makes sure every single person that stops by is taken care of and leaves happy. He made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Be warned the rum punch is no joke and it's very "effective" definitely the best we had while in Barbados. 2 will have you swinging from the rafters....literally lol Looking for good food at 5am after the club? Chicken George is open 24hrs.

The best rum punch on the island! We came across Chicken George while walking to the beach. They have music and the staff is very nice. The food did take a little while and was over fried.

It was a very very nice place. That 3 weekend we spent in Barbados we visit Chicken George almost every day. Even spend few hour that day we get married at 14th februar. Next year at the same time we will be back. Jane and Trini guy Glen

The guys were nice and friendly! The rum punch was way too sweet for me… would have liked more fruit and less grenadine. They weren’t very strong but the guy topped them Up with rum for free :-)

Lovely place, just stumbled upon it after a walk on the beach. Great food! Both me and my boyfriend went for the fried chicken, chips and salad, very tasty coating ans perfectly cooked. Gonna go back and try the fish!

I am a VERY picky eater and I wanted to try some Bajan cuisine while I’m here on my birthday.. not only is the staff so professional and friendly but the food is the best food I had probably top 5 restaurants and I’m 30+! I will be eating here EVERYDAY of my vacation! You will miss out if you don’t eat here!!!! THE BEST!!!!!!

This is the 2nd year we have been for cold beers and snacks after a walk along the boardwalk. The 3 lads there made you most welcome, and a nice welcome with hand shake and kiss for the wife from Jason when he turned up. They all just make your visit enjoyable keep up the good work see you next year

I went on a Sunday night, I had the fried fish, chips & salad and it was delicious! The owner & staff were super friendly and there's a nice vibe with locals and tourists enjoying live music. My virgin cocktail was made with so much love. Reasonable prices to. I cannot recommend it enough

Durtty place

In all my travels in the Carribean, I can safely say that this is by far my favorite beach bar/resto. Jason, Elijah and the team at Chicken George our outstanding, genuinely care about their clientele's enjoyment and are truly meant to be in the service industry. Their frozen rum smoothies are incredible (virgin available also, my kids loved them too) and their rum punch is by far the best I've had on the island. They also have a stacked beer menu. The food is fantastic too. In a nutshell, you want the best beach vibe, drinks and rum on the island, head to Rockley beach and visit chicken George. Thanks guys, I really enjoyed my times with you on this trip, I will definitely be back and you are one of the main reasons I will be staying in Rockley on my next visit to Barbados.

Terrible service. We're still waiting for the rest of our order to come out. We ordered yesterday lol. How long can it take to make fries and macaroni pie? Over an hour and a half for the pie. Wont be back except for the cheap beer

Best food and drinks we have had in our 10 days trip in Barbados was at this little outdoor restaurant, they simply cook their food with passion; staff are very friendly and attentive, service is second to none! We shall be back!

I loved here! Was a great for that little lime with friends and the food was good. Had karaoke as well! The staff was the highlight for me they were great sports definitely would recommend. Parking is OK and it's on the beach.

A fun beach shack right on Rockley Beach. The owner is engaging and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. He'll allow you to do karaoke (not sure thats a good idea some nights)... The Rum Punch is a winner! Food is also served!

Just off Accra beach, this place serves some fantastic food and great beer. In my top three meals during my 2 week holiday in Barbados. Thanks. Look forward to returning!

My friend and I took a trip to Barbados and our first beach to visit was rockley beach on the sourhcoast, I had the pleasure to meet the owner, sooooo hospitable, professional and friendly, I recommend the famous rum punch if you’re looking for a kick lol, let me also add he has a variety of local foods that’s simply amazing.. 10/10 recommend

Visited in the evening and it was worth it. Fried chicken was simple but tasty. Rum punch really good with attentive staff, great atmosphere and clean tables. For a first visit it’s a bit confusing with the other outlets close by but I’m really pleased we read your reviews and came to visit

We had lunch here everyday during our vacation and we absolutely loved it! Food is delicious and people who work there are very nice, highly recommend! Grilled shrimp salad was my favorite dish.

First meal after we’d just arrived at the Accra was Chicken George’s chicken and chips and it was bliss. Tasty chicken, great coleslaw and chips, decent portion sizes, great service with a touch of their fiery sauce along with great service. Thanks lads. Nearly forgot the rum punch..jeez. 👍
