The evening looked promising given the positive reviews. On a Tuesday evening, reservation for 2 adults which was finally unnecessary, 20 minutes of waiting announced for two pizzas which finally took 45 minutes to come. It seems that the restaurant had a staff problem in the kitchen. The Frutti di Mare, where I'm still looking for seafood on it (mini shrimp and tiny mussels and clams), served lukewarm with a soft, soggy crust. The meat-t-t-y which suggests a pizza bursting with meat seems more like a very standard pizza with meat (bacon, sausage and pepperoni but not seen ham) served also lukewarm. To kill time and satisfy our hunger we ordered two entrees: standard bruschetta and an awesome crostini (made with chive and garlic goat cheese topped with sweet marinated onions) which gives this review a 2 stars. The two waitresses, although very nice, could not adequately take care of the 7 tables and the customers who waited long minutes for their online orders. A total disappointment. This restaurant lost in quality since the previous Italian owner sold it.

Amazing Pizza. We ordered a take out to watch the sunset at the beach. Quick service. The pizza had good portion of toppings and very flavored. Totally worth it. If I had more time at the island would go back there again.

What a beautiful meal for our last supper in Barbados. The artwork is magnificent. I took pictures but there are people in them so I wont share publicly. You have to see to believe how quaint this place is. The pizza, we got vegetarian small with half spicy salami on it. The salami was not spicy but the hot sauce is lovely. The pizza was so thin and delightful with stringy mozzarella cheese. So so good. We had the greek salad, which is not as I expected, but very delicious. The cheesecake is sweet whoah. Maybe share a piece three ways. 🤣. Or not 🐷 The service was really great, everyone was nice and welcoming, engaging, waitress was super attentive although it was busy. The food took a while to come out, but we were not at all bothered. There was a large family at one table which was beautiful to see. Please eat here. I saw this little boy really enjoying a massive bowl of what looked like fettuccini Alfredo. He really seemed to love it. Super great place for kids too.

I’m truly surprised this place got a 4+ rating! The service was great, the food was terribly lacking! The tomato purée base used in the pizza / pasta tasted of preservatives and sugar. Service was friendly and fast. I had to search deep within to find the two stars.

We love this restaurant soon as you walk in the door you can tell something delicious is cooking the manager/ owner came over to talks to us he and his staff are very friendly food tasty

The pepperoni pizza was delicious, extremely thin crusted and crunchy. The gelato did not actually taste like gelato, more like ice cream. In general it’s a nice vibe and nice food. Prices felt a more aligned to a place in the US than in Barbados.

Nice place with a friendly atmosphere. they seem to have different specials on a regular basis. I had 2 beers for 10 $ for lunch 😋. Service was a bit slow, though. my business did not seem very important to them.

Take away pizza cost $55bds and was simple the worst thing I have ever tasted. Soggy vile pizza base scantily covered in cheese and tomato Ordered extra cheese onion ham and tomato topping which I think must still be in the kitchen. We did get a topping of RAW tomato which was so thickly sliced it had to be eaten separately. Mama Mia, please congratulate yourself on producing the worst takeaway I have ever had in my 60+ years on this planet. Only fit to use as a doorstop .

A great restaurant with a full menu, friendly staff and excellent food. The patio is a great venue for a dinner with friends or an intimate evening out. I'd recommend any visitors visit for a lovely evening of good food and pleasant surroundings.

Ordered take away pizza and salad 45 min wait not a problem staying over the rd at coconut court. Wrong pizza given stone cold so returned apologies given and asked if I wanted a drink water only though.. have been up all night very ill won't be using again poor service.

Good value for money. Prices were very good for Barbados and we had dinner there twice. Would absolutely recommend the Cheese Board as a starter. Pizza was good but not great. If you are going for pasta, I would recommend the seafood one.

I just dined in at this restaurant and the service was not good. I had pasta and my friends had pizza, a salad, and Alfredo ravioli. The food was average, my pasta was so spicy for me, it was advertised as spicy tho, I just didn’t expect the spice level on it. I had at least half my food left and I had two servers come back to my table asking if I was done with my plate. Then so, I ate some more and I told her it was really spicy and she asked if I wanted a box for my food instead. So 5 mins pass by and I have pasta on my fork, and she asked again “ are you done “ like, there’s still food on my plate. We were rushed to leave out of here bc they were closing, and there was still another table of 6 people there that wasn’t rushed like we were. So unprofessional and rude just bc they wanted to leave. Also, the receipt prices were wrong and was informed of the wrong information. I don’t often encounter bad service, but when I do I get upset with it and this place really set it. Below are pics of the exterior & menu, and my pasta. I understand that places have to close but rushing your customers every 5-10 mins is really rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Attitude from almost all the workers there were extreme and you can see how annoyed they were bc I wasn’t done with my food. I’m really disappointed with how this place handled their service with customers.

Had a veggie heaven pizza, paprika roasted potatoes and a green salad. The thin crust pizza base was excellent. 'La pièce de résistance' was the home-made Guava Tart. A must have if available when you visit. The service lacked luster but the food was worth it.

Went in for lunch. I had the lasagne and I think it had been sitting in a drawer drying out for a week, it was rank. It wasn't till I was chatting to someone else who had also had the lasagne that I discovered she had the same experience. Service started off ok then everyone just disappeared. Honestly, just swerve past this place it is truly horrific. There are so many other places serving up good quality food don't put yourself through this one.

Lovely Italian restaurant, I stopped there for pizza at least 3 times during my holiday, good flavours, clean, polite staff. Sounds basic but honestly I ordered the best garden salad there that I have ever had!

Being the first time visiting, it was a little confusing. I figured out that we grab a menu, and pick a table. When we were ready to order, a nice lady came and took our order. The food was great, and the antipasto for two was quite large. After eating that, we were unable to finish our actual meals. They set us up with takeaway containers for our leftovers. They cook using what I believe is a wood fired oven, so some things take a little time to get to your table. The pizza looked delicious, but that isn't what we had. Our meals were good size, and very very tasty. We will be going back before we return home!

Great pastas and pizza at a reasonable price for a restaurant in Barbados. I ordered from here twice during my trip, and takeout was quick. I didn't try the desserts, but the cheesecakes looked amazing.

The salad was amazing and the pizza was ok. Large range of cheesecakes for dessert. Not the best Italian food ever but a good option if you fancy something different from the local cuisine and probably the friendliest service we had during our trip.

We came here on our second day of our holiday. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was lovely with all of the Christmas lights and decorations, it really made everything look beautiful. There was no banging music to the point where we couldn't hear ourselves talk, it was a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. We were served very quickly, and for us the restaurant was rather quiet. They had many options for each dish which made it even better. Our food didn't take long at all, and even on a busy day I don't think it would take long. Me and someone else ordered the caesar salad, with a small pasta on the side of one and the other with garlic bread. Another person ordered the ravioli. All of the food was absolutely delicious. And we were even asked if we wanted to add more caesar sauce to our salad. The service and staff were ever so kind. I recommend this place a ton and we were going to come back for christmas eve, but sadly they aren't open on Christmas eve but it's understandable. 5/5 stars. Heavily underrated.

Amazing food!! I was staying at the Hilton nearby and took the walk over (not that far at all) and it was totally worth it. They had a lot of pizza’s but I had a pasta dish. The desserts were also amazing. Try the Apple Tart!!

I love this place! The first time I came to Barbados I went once or twice but the second time I was in Barbados being there for 3 whole weeks I was able to go A LOT! The service is great the pizza they treated me and my family very well, the pizza is delicious... they also make very good pasta!!!

One of the best pizzas and pasta I've had outside of Italy! Staff super friendly and accommodating, especially to young children. Rum punch is delicious (and strong!). Would definitely head there again if I fancy a pizza.

Went to Mama Mia's without a reservation. Were given a very pleasant table on the patio near the gardens, close to a high level fan. Nice setting, and comfortable. Had a pleasant dinner with my wife, at a very reasonable price. Nice desserts. Reason for 4 stars is- they only have two brands of Rum ( I like Old Brigand they didn't have it) Also the gentleman that took our order was a little brusque, we felt that we maybe had come to dinner too late ,(7.30 pm) But the food was great and I did get XO Rum and Coke (x2) so really no major complaint.
