I ordered food from here on the Hopscotch delivery website. And let me tell you something their goat roti, is absolutely delicious. Every single bite was a perfectly cooked&seasoned soft piece of goat. It was worth every cent. I love that it was perfectly wrapped to fit in my hand so delicately. The roti was soft and just right. Highly recommend food from their restaurant.

The Ackee Tree Classic 1 lb roti was incredible!! You choose from 2 sauces to put in it, sweet tumeric or a hot pepper... my father and I both went with the sweeter choice and it was so amazing. It was huge and I ate every bit of it. Service was super fast and friendly. No complaints.

Delicious rotis. Not the nicest atmosphere to dine in and lately theyve been inconsistent with availability of items. All the same- 4 star because I know they have it in them! Needs some life driven into the place :)

Great place to eat. The food is delicious and the staff were very friendly. We are there most days on our holiday. We're back home and missing the rotis.

Great food friendly staff.

First time trying one of the rotis and as a person that can make them they got an A+ I had the veg classic on paratha skin pumpkin, channa and potato. It was filling and priced $15.50 there are also other eats on the menu like cou cou and fish macaroni pie rice etc. You can sit inside or outside or takeaway the restaurant was clean and tidy and there is parking behind the restaurant the service was prompt and the ladies were very friendly will definitely go again!

Tasty food, the bake and salt fish is always a true pleasure.

Amazing roti and great staff

I come here every time I visit Barbados! The all shrimp lb roti is amazing, especially with home made chips. The rum punch tastes exactly as it should do with a sprinkling of nutmeg on top. The fish cakes are made fresh and the bakes are amazing. Service - can't fault it. The ladies are always great and helpful with recommendations.

Great food and reasonable prices! Perfect for a roti lunch. Also serves platters of food or just veggies.

They offered food in exchange for currency. The food was exemplary. It was very pleasant to eat, nourishing and more than worth the requested currency.

Ordered mac pie, cutters and rum punch. The food was ok but quite pricey for such small portion frankly. The rum punch was moreish with that sprinkle of spice on top.

The food is typical Bajan. Got to try the flying fish and cou cou. It was ok. The place itself is great and the staff was friendly and helpful.

In my opinion, the dhal puri roti skin was dry. The tamarind sauce was a nice addition. The curry itself was just ok. I don't feel compelled to go there again.

Food at my hotel is horrible so I came to Google to find food. I used Hopscotch based on another review. I ordered the goat Roti and curry chicken bowl. The Roti had pieces of bone (or something hard) so it was a little harder to bite into and I could’ve feed it to my toddler. Finally food with flavor 😩!

Currently without a permanent home (they are doing pop ups at the moment while they determine a more permanent location). Check on Facebook to confirm where they’ll be — we were lucky to visit them while they had a pop up at Rockley Golf Club. Without a question, our favourite place for aloo pie — we’ve yet to find anything comparable to Ackee Tree’s, so we hope that when we come back to visit in 2020 they’ll have found a permanent home that we can frequent!

Very cozy atmosphere with the friendliest staff you can imagine. Value for money comfort food with some local classics. If only the aircon worked inside.

I really enjoy the pumpkin fritters here. Also very delicious curry dishes. Edit: I just returned after several months and had the Smoked Herring and Bakes. Soooooooo good! I cannot exaggerate how good this dish was. Brought up some heavy, warm childhood memories.

We LOVE Ackee Tree....staff, food EVERYTHING! Been coming to Barbados for years, landed on Friday & set for our Saturday dinner at Ackee tree & truly gutted to see shop was closed 😫. My experience is always great. Love the foods, especially the shrimp roti. Lovely location, friendly staff. You can take away or dine in the restaurant. Nice for meetings, quick lunch or liming with friends. Always clean, with a rustic setting.

If you are looking for good local food this is the place for it. Good portion sizes, food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
