Listen, if you’re looking for an amazing place to have a meal or just have drinks, Jake’s is the best spot to go!!! My bartender Quantano; top mixologist 👌🏽 My waitress; Sashana made sure everything was to my liking & provided me with top tier service. 10/10 👌🏽 I would also like to include the kitchen staff who prepared my food so big up yaself; Jude, Keisha & Rashida. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 & I’m definitely not going to forget management; Alison it was a pleasure just being there at Jake’s, everything was absolutely perfect & I’m gonna be back for sure. Everything about Jake’s Barbados was truly refreshing, top service; great staff, not to mention the food & drinks once again, 1000/10 definitely recommend this establishment.

Was a great meal. The atmosphere was amazing. There were many different areas to sit indoors and out. The menu was not all that extensive or local. But for pub grub, this is what I expect. We ordered margaritas and coconut crusted mahi mahi. I highly recommend. Today is first day of my week long trip. I hope to be back. I went back. Added pics of big daddy burger minus a couple delicious onion rings oops my bad. Did not disappoint. Maybe put a raincoat on while eating this burger 🤣. My friend ordered blt burger and loved that too.

The restaurant looks nice in a good location. The food is fine and price are affordable for Barbados’s standards

I usually go here with my colleagues and the staff is always very accommodating. Great place to get some drinks and relax after a long week. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is also nice for smaller groups and date night.

Atmosphere is nice and they made a good effort at the ambience. The menu items are described in a nice way but the food is a bit simple, or maybe my taste buds are not sophisticated lol. The staff are simple and nice enough.

Loved the staff! They were super friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely and the wait was not long. A nice place to dine for casual occasion.

We’ve been trying to get into this restaurant for a couple weeks now but it was always greatly patronized. So we decided to give it a try at a dead time after having a horrible experience at another restaurant and we were honestly impressed. The customer service was great, the food came out on time. It was definitely worth the wait. 10/10 would recommend.

Had takeaway here twice and we truly enjoyed. The food was delicious, bf said they currently hold first place for the best nachos 😋 . The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. Will most definitely be back!!

Found the place while walking to an other. Very nice friendly environment nothing to do about 2-3 stars given below. My first time in Barbados and probably 10th dinner. Nothing to say. Tasty meal and extremely good service, at some point we were being asked multiple times in 10 min if all was good etc. Recommend it without a doubt. Cheers

Where do I start?!! We stopped in for appetizers. I asked the waitress if the calamari was fresh. The waitress was NOT honest. The calamari was CLEARLY flash fried from a bag of frozen seafood mix. They were overcooked...tasked like rubber! The shrimp cocktail came with four small shrimp...clearly thawed from a bag. I asked the waitress before I ordered how large the shrimp were and she said jumbo. The entire meal was tasteless and way over priced. We barely touched the food after a few bites. We asked for the bill and the waitress asked if everything was alright...we just told her we wanted the check. The manager came out to ask what was wrong with the meal....we were honest and told her about the lack of taste and how the waitress failed to reveal the calamari was frozen. All of the other restaurants I've dined at in Barbados were so good. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business with the surrounding competition. At the end of the day its nothing but overpriced frozen food!

We ordered just after a very large table so the food was a little delayed. I'm sure a normal night would've been much faster. The food was delicious and all our party agreed.

Just happened to drive by this place and stopped in for dinner. We were greeted warmly by Priscilla with a lovely smile. She was our server and incredibly friendly and polite. Food was delicious, everything everyone ordered was good. Definitely would come back.

Jake’s is definitely the place to go for a delicious lunch!! We ordered the chicken burrito bowl and the beef pho! Both were absolutely amazing!! Best burrito bowl I’ve ever had. Perfect place for a lunch meeting as well.

Went here for lunch and dinner, the food/drinks was great and the waitresses were so friendly and kind, and the service was great! Prices were pretty good as well. Love the music at night, the DJ was awesome and the vibes were great, will come back again.

Great food, and most of the staff are polite and welcoming. It is an open-air building, so the inside space is not enclosed and there is no air conditioning. There can be mosquitos around. It can be quite hot inside the building. Their coffee machine seems to be down a lot as they are often not able to serve hot drinks, which is a shame because their milk-based coffees are very good. They probably need to replace their coffee machine at this point... I have lost count the number of times they've told me it's not working again.

Let me start by saying, Priscilla the waitress you ARE A GEM. Definitely was so helpful, polite and courteous. Wish I could give you employee of the month myself! The food was good, drinks were kicking! ( big up the bartender whoever you were on the night of the 7th of October) The decor of the place was lovely as well I loved the colours and the prices were excellent I definitely recommend.

I went here for an outing with my friend. Everything was fine, the food tasted adequate and the atmosphere was great. However, about 15 minutes after digging into my food I noticed something in the corner of my eye. It was rats. RATS BEHIND JAKE'S RESTAURANT! I was DISGUSTED. I WISH I GOT A PICTURE! Jake's do better. I saw your employees going behind the building with buckets so they are aware of the problem. Were they trying to catch them?

Waited 30 minutes for someone to take our order and another 60 minutes for the drinks and food to arrive, without explanation. Food was average. Sauces forgotten. Second drinks didn’t even show up. 4 staff on, only 1 of whom was visible. The other three looked miserable (when they did show their faces). A strong manager is needed. Quite possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Awesome experience. Food was great Servers were engaging and thoughtful. Saxophonist was amazing. Value for Money The guards at the gate for parking we welcoming and pleasant. Which must not be overlooked as this first impression is extremely important. Overall great place I would highly recommend

Zero taste, zero flavor, no story in their food. I ordered fish and they brought it without lemon. Disappointing, specially when you come as a group and nobody gets anything tasty.

Atmosphere really nice, Food and Drinks tasty and presentation nice but wait can be a bit long. I think $20 for 3 chicken wings is very high. I also strongly think now with covid the waiter's should also wear mask and not only face shield.

I've visited this bar/restaurant many times before. My first time was the second week when it first open and was a great first time. Then as i went other times i started to not like it so much and last night was it. I was in a large group for dinner and we had to wait an hour and some close to 2 hours for our food and it was ridiculous ppl lefted worked and came and also was reall hungry getting bad feels, the guy came and explained that they will take a certain amount of time and that time pass double and still nothing, the i had a margarita i had to send back twice cause it was too salty. Explain for a 100 point how a margarita tasted so salty. Then they corrected it the third. Our waitress i know she was frustrated but it was ridiculous but she was very nice and had so much patience and applause for her even tho orders was mixed up but idk u guys need to do better

I’ve been to Jakes twice, both times were disappointing. Firstly the wait for the food is extremely long and then after having such a long wait I received my food cold, who likes cold food ? Sigh Secondly the waiters/ waitresses always gets something on your order wrong. The atmosphere is nice as well as the staff but I would not recommend Jakes to anyone and I definitely won’t be back again.

Decent road front bar and restaurant. A bit before all the action spots on south coast but nice alternative.

I would say I had a bad experience because they only had 1 bartender servicing drinks to over 20 people at once. Next was the food, I ordered one thing and got another order and to make the matter worse was the mash potatoes, it was awful.

Food was great. Our group was VERY large so there were a few errors but the service was professional. I recommend it for a casual dinner for 2 or a small group.
