Amazing restaurant! If you ever travel to Barbados, please try this place. My family went on vacation here and within a week, we’ve been to this location at least 3 times. The grilled fish is delicious - soft, tasty, flavourful and appetizing. They give up to 2 side choices and 3 salad choices so you have a lot to eat. I would recommend Amber and next up Congali! The staff are VERY friendly and it was a joy seeing them every time we came in.

Back again and visited 3 times during my stay. Veronica was available so I dealt with the lovely Kia who ordered me my lobsters and even manged to get me some Amber Jack Fish in which is a beautiful tasty fish. Definitely the best restaurant in oistins. Back to 1 of my favourite restaurants on the island The quality here and freshest is sublime, also great value! Jaden who i mentioned in my previous review is currently overseas working but his mum Veronica is still here cooking up a storm! I visited here 3 timed during my stay and twice she specially ordered me in lobsters and they where massive and delicious, probably the best I've ever had! Cooked in a delightful garlic butter served with 2 side starches and salads. You can also get 4 bottles of beer here for $10BBD The lobster season doesn't open till September so best to pre order if you desire one. Also Friday nights at oistins are extremely busy so arrive early to avoid disappointment. Beautiful food served by great people! This is probably my favourite place to dining at in oistins. Perfectly cooked grilled or fried this place has been doing it right for a long time now. Theres always a good selection on offer and if they haven't got what you want the knowledgeable staff will recommend something you'd probably like even more after trying it! This very thing happened to me when I went looking for king fish, my waiter Jaden recommended the Amber fish instead or barracuda. The Amber was grilled to perfection and delicious served with a choice of 2 starches I.e. grilled potatoes, rice and peas. And 3 salads it's truly a hearty meal and reasonably priced. In fact i liked it that much on my next visit I had the fish platter also with the Amber fish and Congolli topped with a shrimp, my partner had the mahi-mahi fish also known as the dolphin fish. Don't worry it's not Flipper but will appear on menu as dolphin. If you want a lobster it's best to order the day before as there normally not kept in stock. Theres specials on beers there ( 3 banks for BB$10) wine is BB$15 for a small bottle. Oh if you don't like crowds and waiting then avoid the weekly Friday party night across all of oistins.

Perfect taste in every bite, I had the Mahi Mahi, they call it “dolphin”, for 35$ BBD. It includes a huge portion of delicious grilled fish, 2 starches (I chose rice/peas and plantain), and 3 small salads on the side. I keep coming back!

Delicious food and excellent customer service 👍🏾 I love grill fish. It comes hot as your fish is grilled when you order it. Mouth watering flavours. I had to go back for more. Two starches of your choice, protein and three salads for an affordable price👌🏾 But don’t limit yourself. You can get additional just pay the difference 😁

I CANNOT recommend this place enough!! Jaden and mother Veronika run this absolute gem. It’s the youngest stall in the Oistins fan fair of stalls but it’s the best (technically it is too, as they are rated highest on Trip Adviser). Get down and order your fave fish dish (they also do chicken, pork and shrimp for ppl like me who don’t rave about fish). Their macaroni pie is to die for too.

From the food to the service, Chillin & Grillin is consistently great. Ventured back here because determined that locals probably don't eat at the store fronts on the road... flying fish fried, Congolie and Amber grilled. As a Bonus, order the shrimp. You will not be disappointed.

Had dinner last night here and everything was so good. Had Marlin for the first time with macaroni pie and sweet potato and a few banks.

We spent our last dinner to this beautiful place and we love it! Food is delicious but the best part of the dinner are the waitresses! They are beautiful, kind and polite, always smiling. Definitely the best place to eat at the Fish Market of Oistins

This place is always busy so you KNOW the food is good! I got the shrimp dish with macaroni pie and salad….divine. The rum punch was delicious as well. Now can we get into customer service?! Phillip went above and beyond, he was so welcoming and attentive, a gem. Ask for him next time you visit Oistins, you’ll get 5 star service!

A little slow on the service as it was chaotically busy, but decent food. My snapper was recommended grilled and was a little overdone for my taste but was lovely. The biggest shame was that we weren't offered menus so I had to guess what sides were available (as it was too loud and out waitress was too busy to read them out to me) but a good experience overall

Lovely food! The food was tasty. Lana made our experience even better. Gave us good options to try. Love how they don't have any cross contamination with seafood and other items on the menu. Will definitely be going back!

Omg. The food was amazing here. I recommend any kind of grill fishs. Prices are cheap for for a full meal with sides.. Try the local drinks.. Recommendations.. Fridays, come no later than 6pm no cards accepted here only cash..

The snapper!!! Wowwww!! It was delicious. Everything was delicious. And the service was good. The seating is outside. The fish is grilled fresh. It’s a must when in Barbados.

Basic but well executed local fish on the grill. Fresh and well dressed. Generous portions. Very attentive staff. Very popular at some times of the day and particularly on Fridays.

Amazing mahi mahi - best I’ve ever had - and delicious sides. The only negative is the portion was too big!! Highly recommend on your trip to Barbados. We tried Pat’s Place another evening and it didn’t even come close.

My first experience at Oistins as this was my first trip to Barbados and Chillin & Grillin was amazing. The food was delicious! Highly recommend. We had the swordfish (pictured) and marlin. Also grab one of the traditional juices, soursop and watermelon was very refreshing.

Absolutely delicious food and kind, friendly and attentive staff! Highly recommend! Edit: homemade juices are a treat!!!

If you are white and from a cruise ship you will be treated well. If you’re black, the service and quality of food is extremely poor. Three of us went and sat at a table with lovely white guest that we had just met. Their order for food and drink was taken, while we were ignored. After being seated, it was 25 minutes before a sulky faced member of staff came to take our order. The meal arrived 55 minutes later for me and one friend who ordered chicken. The fish dinner for my other friend did not arrived. By the time my meal arrived the white guests had eaten and already said goodbye after having a second drink. They were embarrassed for us. The food was bland and the Mac pie was poorly made. This was a Friday night and as we left staff said I’m sorry this is a Friday night and we have been busy. Fish Friday at Oistins has taken place for centuries. That does not explain why we were not served in a timely manner. Disgusting

We were approached by Lana, very nice lady. And explained the menu. We had swordfish meal great tasty. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

Oh my! I could use some Marlin right now. Fish was so freakin good, yes I took it on the plane and ate it cold. Sorry fellow passengers.

The food is nice and good value They serve the best pina colada There's a live dj some nights And has great views over looking the sea The staff are hit & miss sometimes welcoming and attentive at other times You feel like a nuisance And they're miserable Such a shame really What they don't realise is the nicer you are to customers better the tip Hopefully they'll take this onboard smile more and be more welcoming

Fish was excellent (we had grilled congolee and fried red snapper), however the service left A LOT to be desired. They forgot about our order and only had hot beer. Also rum punch tasted like diabetes in a cup.

Came here on our first night in bbds and it was fantastic! I don't eat meat or fish so they made a vegetarian platter of sides and salad. Best macaroni pie I had on the island!

The food here is amazing and reasonably priced. Good for a family outing or an intimate evening for dinner.

Food absolutely amazing despite have to wait nearly 2 hours for it. If I was not part of a group, I would of left to a next stool after 20 minutes. There’s plenty of other food places to choose. To rub salt into the wound the waitress asked for my $20 change as a tip. I can’t reward sloppy service.

On arrival customer service was great with very chatty and warm staff, however we were disappointed when a Canadian family who arrived approx 15mins after we had placed our order, got their food a whole 20mins before we did which led the family to even question if we had already eaten! Overall, customer care needs to be improved so that each customer receives the same experience regardless; additionally food was standard.

Food is great. Just make sure the fish you want is in season. Gets really hectic really quick but I guess this is part of the experience. I will visit it again.

Read the reviews and was impressed -especially by the pictures of abundant food. But the reality was a meager portion of flying fish and an abundance of starchy sides. We sensed that they did not enough fish to fill two orders. But they should have told us rather than cover up the very small portions covered w sides. I tried to stay positive about Barbados because everything else on our trip was A+. I regret not saying anything to the young boy that waited on us, but didn’t want to go negative on him . Wish that they would have been as considerate as I was trying to be !!!!!

Well no better place to get your meal at Oistins Fish Fry. But not only then. Also open in the other days. Try the Fish platter to get a taste of the fine fish and don't forget to order Rum punch. All tastes wonderful and are available at reasonable prices. Go get there and taste for yourself!

Well prepared shrimp but the snapper was a bit overcooked. Takes a while to get served but probably no worse than any other place. Probably a good choice for Friday. Good value.

I actually only ordered beer but the whole strip here at Oistins turns into one big beach party for all ages - Friday Night Fish Fry. There are all types of vendors from food to trinkets, pottery and a bonfire. There is tons of dancing in 2 separate sections (old & new school). I hung out with my dad and had one of the most magical nights of my life. We danced in the rain under the stars in Barbados.

Nice place to have a delicious food, drinks and watch the sunset, the owner is very friendly, definitely one of my favorite spots in the Island.

Can't say anything about the food as we only had drinks, but it's a great spot! Will definitely try the food next time we're in town.
