I am known to be a Marriott Elite Member , so most definitely, I will stay at Marriott brands where ever I travel. Wow! Courtyard Marriott in Barbados was the worst experience ever experienced at any hotel, guest house and or resort. These are the list of a few issues which annoyed me: 1. Unclean Room 2. Mice in the Hallway 3. Stayed 9hours+ without Water in the sink, toilet and shower (unheard of at any hotel) 3(a). Water dripping from the air conditioning unit. 4. Front Desk Service was very unpleasant 5. Hotel environment, was not kept to the standards of the brand . I would recommend that you visit a boutique hotel or any guest house in Barbados than visiting the Courtyard .

Courtyard by Marriott was an excellent experience from the hospitality to the cuisine. The hotel is a must. The buffet breakfast to the amenities. The hotel provides parking for persons who wish to drive. What's a little odd to me is that the entrance is located behind the building other than that it's great. There's a little snack bar located in front by the receptionist where can get your little snacks if you feel like snacking. There are four floors in the hotel On the first floor, you would find the restaurant, bar, dining area, conference room, lounge, receptionist, and elevators. Second floor you would find the gym, swimming pool, and rooms The third and fourth floor is rooms

Yes Please! Over-all the team that worked during our stay made us feel like family. While there, we had no running water and No courtesy call or apology for the inconvenience. It was challenging to accommodate a plate base eater: some of my food was bland that they were able to prepare, but I appreciate the effort.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, I've had wyite a few training sessions here for work in the past and popped in occasionally for impromptu business meetings without any issues, during the pandemic, the first Caribbean Atm in the lobby became very useful and convenient during the pandemic. Breakfast here with friends at their new restaurant centro was delicious, albeit, the waffles were cold, even though, they were kept on warmers, for a small group, the price was great greatest the wait staff extremely friendly and helpful.

You’ll be surprised by this 3 star hotel. Great place to stay while on a budget but looking for comfort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the walls are too thin allowing noise disturbances. Didn’t manage to have a meal at the restaurant but the lobby and reception area is welcoming and cozy. Pool facilities are also good and open until night.

Taxi Service, Also right off the road for public transportation, walking distance to beach. The room and bathrooms were very nice and clean. Only complaint was water pressure was a bit low for the shower, which I didn't get around to telling them about. I would stay here again. Also next to a nice Italian restaurant Buzo, and not a far drive from Chefette (fast food)

My stay was okay. Check-in went as smoothly as it could. Some minor but significant information was left out. For instance, using your key card to operate the elevator. Another guest showed us. The room was clean (at least I thought it was) and nice. The first night I stepped on a few shards of glass. Needless to say it was painful and I was bleeding a bit. Front desk promptly sent someone to render first aid and even offer to change rooms, I declined as it was already late and I had my daughter with me. A report was made (I think). Next day no-one cared to check-on me or even send housekeeping to clean the room to make sure there was no more shards. Needless to say, I stepped on another piece and found another. At this point I'm livid. Front desk never bother to call. Final day, breakfast was ordered. Half of it came wrong. I ordered a side of bacon and they sent ham.....and then asked me if I don't eat ham??? That's not what I ordered! Then to find out, they didn't have any bacon....maybe that should've been said from the inception. On checking out, no one came to apologize or even speak to me about the incident with the glass, not once but twice this happened. The topic never even came up. No wait, I brought it up but this didn't even amount to a conversation.

I traveled to Barbados to stay for a few days before continuing on my vacation. I found this hotel centrally located and easy to find from the airport. The hotel’s highlight is the staff. Some of the most friendly and polite hotel associates with which I have had the pleasure to interact. I’ll absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Barbados in the future.

We are titanium members of Marriott so suffice to say that we have stayed at many places. This is the perfect one night stay hotel for cruisers or transition guests. Rooms are clean, service is good. I would not make this a multi night hotel.

Nice hotel. The staff are great, very friendly and attentive. The beach is a quick walk across the road. Breakfast in the lobby restaurant is decent. Biggest complaint is the tv in the room. It is always pixelating, or out completely. It is odd because if you go down to the bar, the tv's are working there but not in the room. TV outage is almost daily for about an hour. I travel for business so when I am done for the day I just want to come back to the hotel and chill, watch a bit of tv. Not here....

Not on the beach but good value, however Michael at the Front Desk needs Customer Service Training. Walk to beach, restaurants and bars.

Amazing stay! The entire team was awesome, delivering a true hospitality experience to me and my kiddos. Special shout out to Andrea in the bistro. She was so attentive to us and went out of her way to make our visit extra memorable by offering sweet treats to the kids, providing genuine recommendations and positively engaging with us every morning. Also thanks to Vernita for the kind birthday wishes. From the front desk, to housekeeping to General Manager and cooks, this team is very impressive. Will definitely stay here again if back in Barbados!

I stayed during the pandemic and got caught up in the airport because of paperwork issues. Karen from the front desk went out of her way to do everything she could. She really went above and beyond. I don't think I've ever had someone do what she did. Just amazing. Thank you so much.

I attended a presentation in one of their conference rooms. The hotel is clean and well situated, and the presentation room was well set up for everyone present.

The room is very nice although it lacked a few basic things to make the stay more comfortable like a kettle. Some members of the welcome and catering staff very impolite and ordering for room service seemed to be an annoyance.

We stayed here one night as we were staying at Sandals but had a late flight and didn’t wang to pay an extra day when we were landing at 1am. The Courtyard is what you’d expect from any Courtyard in the US expect it’s located a block from the water. Everyone was super friendly and they even have a taxi service onsite that was super easy to use. I wish we had more time to try more local restaurants near the hotel.

We stayed here our first night on Barbados, as our flight got in quite late, and we had no desire to get an AirBnB proprietor out of bed at midnight. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and they let us leave our luggage with them for a few hours after we checked out. All in all a lovely stay. (We used a free voucher, so no opinion on the value.)

Dropped in for a drink, decided to get take out as well. Bar staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Pina Colada was very good, daiquiri could have been better, but I think it was that the banana was either not ripe enough or just did not have much flavor. Pizza was good and the chicken quesadilla was yummy. Conveniently located very close to home.

Very very friendly staff , couldn't do enough for me, considering my tour operator got my transfer the wrong day, I came back to the courtyard marriot Hotel, one hour later, and they put me back in my same room, as I had booked out a hour before, thanks to all the staff at the courtyard Hotel, many thanks Mr Boden 👍

Not the best experience. On arriving the service was not great which I found strange considering the hotel and the cost. The room was nice. On leaving the service was great. Very friendly front desk lady named Karen.

Good sized clean rooms. Pool long but thin and shallow, overlooking car park and limited seating / loungers. Staff friendly and professional. Restaurant good value and tasty. Beach a short walk away, across the road from hotel. Overall a great start to our stay.

It's a business hotel not a resort but it's ideally located near many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The staff are pleasant, food is good and room was clean.

Platium elite members had a problem with detergent used to wash bedding. It gave me a very painful rush, excem etc. Informed GM to change bedding . 1 night not done. Complaint to front desk in the morning. Nothing done. So, I slept on the couch in my close to stop exposure. I stay 150.- 250 nights in a year in hotels that only happened 1x time before in Bonaire with me same chain. By the way, a standard buffet style breakfast ( nothing special ) is US 32.00 plus. This was a business trip where the customer booked. I would not rebook.

Standard Marriott services.. and pleasantries! From the restaurant at the hotel, I had fish cake bites? And chicken club sandwich... they were ok

As a return guest, the Marriott continues to provide exceptional service. The front desk check in experience was efficient, friendly yet professional. Minutes after accessing my room, I received a call to confirm full satisfaction. Ordering from the kitchen was equally rewarding. Great job even with the instituted covid related protocol

The desk clerks (and manager) were extremely helpful. If you don't mind a 5 -10 minute walk to the beach, restaurant food didn't have a lot of Caribbean vegan options, the hotel was suitable. The pumpkin soup was good. The room was not fully cleaned. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. Actually, the whole room floor was not cleaned.

I recently had the opportunity to go into Bridgetown, Barbados for business. The flights are usual were lengthy, but not as stressful as they could have been. What made the difference for me was the beauty of the island and the warm, pleasant nature of the people. I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. The room was spacious, with sunken tub and a cosy veranda. The food was more international, then local. But the local flavor still crept in. My chicken soup has coconut dumplings, which gave it an unusual, but savory flavor. A great pool, well equipped gym and the breakfast buffets were outstanding. Well worth the visit if you get to the island!
