Wow the highlight of our trip! Our guide Junior did a very educational tour about the plants and the history of the forest and neighbouring earthworks pottery. Sad we missed the blue blossom in bloom but so much to see. Got a lovely coffee afterwards too.

I would recommend a visit to this garden which comprises lovely walks through what does at times feel like a forest or even a jungle. There are places to sit, enjoy, contemplate and other places to see wonderful views to the northwest hills and Atlantic coast. Add in the excellent cafe where you can sit on a large deck enjoying the surroundings, and gift shop it makes the visit a worthwhile experience. Accept that the 1k road in is steep and bumpy.

Beauty! Natural beauty! Peace and quiet! Every visit to Barbados should include The Flower Forest. Easy walking as long as you are able-bodied, not really suitable for wheel chairs, due to inclines, although there is a tarmac pathway. Cafe is great - lovely fresh food and a great ship with high quality local crafts. Don’t miss it, we’re so pleased that we visited!

This was a lovely oasis. Beautiful gardens along the walkways and some pretty views of the coast. We really enjoyed our visit. The gift shop is really nice and worth a visit. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Don't let the location deter you, it's a bit off the beaten track.

Most beautiful place to visit. Gorgeous flowers and pathways. Could have stayed all morning. Took taxi from hotel who waited for us and took us back to the hotel. Very clean.

Excellent, relaxing nature oasis. The drive down here is quite steep, so take caution. The tour is self guided with a map and umbrella provided if rainy. Lots of cool plants to see, bugs & sometimes animals as well. Cafe and gift shop indoors are also pleasant!

Beautiful forest with a variety of amazing plants. You can pay by card and it was 30BBD per person without a guide and we didn't need to book in advance. Using their provided map (a laminated copy, but you can also find it on their website) we took ~90 mins to go round the forest. Their map appears to be wrong about Theo's Trail, as it is not wheelchair accessible (there are a few steps down to it). They had a lovely giftshop with pottery, palm fans and Bajan trinkets from which I bought a large mug for 36BBD (Hamilton's Pottery is much cheaper). The road to the forest is very trecherous and steep, I certainly wouldn't take a minivan down there. You can park at the site (~20 spaces).

Heaven on earth. This place is gorgeous and very relaxing. My friends and I loved it and all it's beautiful plants, you feel like you're in the middle of the wilderness, away from all the population. The paths are clear and have many flowers. The cafe is great, the food was very tasty.

Wonderfully serene walk through a forest of exotic flora. No sounds of traffic, people or machinery, just the birds twittering. In a bustling island it was a tranquil escape. Simple paths and signage made for a delightful hour or so. I would thoroughly recommend for an escape. Great restaurant and gift shop, too.

These are beautiful gardens. My mom and I visited a few years ago while on vacation. It was so relaxing to walk around and look at all the plants. I especially loved all the huge palm trees everywhere. It was peaceful and relaxing. I had a wonderful time there.

Beautiful gardens, well maintained and presented. Their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the site. If I could offer 1 piece of advivce go early, its magical to get the gardens to yourselves. There's a great chance to see the wildlife.

Stunning forest walk in the middle of the island, lots of variety of flowers and some incredible views of the east coast. Very friendly and helpful staff. A bit of a trek to get to, though the roads were in good shape and there's lots of signs pointing the way

So many amazing flowers and fauna to look at, some great views looking over the east coast. Beautiful place and the trail isn't too taxing. Would recommend either booking a tour or taxi or hiring a car as the walk from the bus stop looked a nightmare

Amazing place to get away from it all and listen to nothing but birds, the trees and sometimes the rain too xx. Trees, plants, flowers and views are amazing. Very welcoming, food and drinks excellent as well as the selection of locally made gifts.

Lovely, peaceful place. Walk through a forest of household pot plants gone mad! Beautiful flowers, towering trees and gigantic leaves make this an enchanting place to meander and chill.

Favourite garden in Barbados With towering palms and trees from around the world mixed with grassy glades and some great views, this is a lovely peaceful place to visit after the bustle of the coast. The flowers are beautiful but it’s the sheer tropical lushness that is so breathtaking. It’s a good size with well laid out paths and also a good cafe.

I found my lipstick tree there! If you love green place it will be perfect for you. Just round the corner there is a Coco Hill also worth walking.
