Once a great spot to explore the history of the island, COVID and a fire have brought the place down in status. Still worth the visit and the view. The grounds manager was outstanding and took time to ensure we saw the littlest detail.

Wonderful views, and the ruins are very charming. Wish we’d taken a picnic as café is outside of the main grounds but definitely worth a visit.

the term national Park is a bit misleading if you are accustomed to national parks in other countries. you shouldn't come here for nature to see. there is a nice lookout, some ruins and a picnic area. if you park outside you save the parking fee which is currently 6 bbd per car. During my short time there I was disturbed by 3 bus tours which drove around the "park" and spilled their tourists and also by a taxi which dropped off people at the lookout. so don't expect any peace and quiet there...

Good spot for a Picnic, and had good Toilets for your convenience. Otherwise a bit disappointing as the main Ruins are closed off and the on sight shop looked like it was permanently closed. A bonus though, we did see a Troop of Monkeys in the nearby Woods.

6 Barbados dollars to take your car in but otherwise its free. Great viewpoint, lovely grounds and a dramatic ruined mansion. There are toilets , also free and a cafe/shop which was closed when we were there. Well worth a stop if you have a car. Sign posting is pretty poor everywhere in Barbados so Google maps or a sat nav would be a boon. You can see it in less than half an hour.

Beautiful views at the top of the hill. Bathroom. You can’t walk around the old house but interesting to see especially if you’ve seen the movie.

Old and not well maintained, but still has some charm. Nice and scenic picnic spot but another covered gazebo would be nice for rainy days.

Nice chill spot, even in the hot hot sun sun this little park stayed nice and cool. Lots of family's setting up picnics for the afternoon and a little hill with a really nice view. We snuck into the forest along the muck paths and much to our happiness we were able to spot a bunch of wild green monkeys!

Such history here. Plus, the vegetation is amazing. Spectacular views of the island and sea as well. You'll have to watch the 1956 movie, "Island in the Sun," as just after filming the home caught fire and was destroyed. Even the large remains are stately. You can see and feel how grand this home was. The grounds are beautiful , and it's well worth the visit. Enjoy the Wildlife Sanctuary across the street after its another great place.

The old building burned in the mid 60’s. Nice view of the Atlantic. Beautiful trees about.

Lovely, quiet park with beautiful views. The mansion ruins are interesting. The claim to fame was that it featured in the film Island in the Sun, which starred Harry Belefonte. It's a shame that more hasn't been done to promote the house. Nice place for a walk or a picnic

At the top of the hill, I experienced the loveliest view of this beautiful island! There was a slight breeze at that elevation that helped cool a very hot and sticky day. The once majestic historic structure on site begged questions that I wish could have been answered. I'm going to look it up and learn more about it.

Very scenic and clean. It was raining so there were not many people there. The bathrooms were very clean and the cats and dog very friendly. Wish I could adopt the small white kitty. He has lots of personality

The Park was clean and I enjoyed the ambience and the sound of the birds in the trees. Went during the week, so had plenty of space to walk around and just relax. Looking for somewhere to just relax for the day, Farley Hill is the place. Do take a packed lunch though.

Really nice place and it's free. If you're lucky you will see wild monkeys... I suggest getting through the small jungle forest to drop and an even better location. Tell them "hi from André the guy with it's bicycle", they will know ;-)

This was an extraordinary experience! The air, the view were breathtaking. To top it off we were there for the Barbados Gospelfest. The music was top notch.

Beautiful scenery, somehow romantic, but also in stage of decay. Entry per passenger car only 6 BDS, benches to sit, public restroom. Very interesting history, super friendly and helpful guards. Well worth a visit!!!

Oh this place is so special to me. Farley Hill National park is a hidden gem in Barbados, one of my favourite places in the world. It does, however, need some TLC, some investment in renovating and bringing it back to its glory. The park features a lovely ‘view point’ and a gazebo at the top, flanked by wonderful shady trees. It also has restroom facilities and a lovely kids park for all ages (be careful, however, some of the toys can be dangerous as they’re in dire need of replacement/fixing) It has lovely areas for walking and the grounds are pretty well maintained. The mansion at the heart of the park is an incredible feature, and is shouting out for restoration. The entry fee is $6 per car. We use this park as a place of peace, quiet, solace and seclusion- it is never busy, always wonderful. Highly recommended, although in dire need of love and affection- I hope an initiative to raise funds to restore it will be raised soon as I would love to contribute.

Nice lovely views. You can get some amazing panorama shots of the island while there but only concern and its minor is the road is single lane with high kerbs. If another car is coming at you one has to reverse especially if in a hatch back

Maybe it's due to Covid but this park was completely empty with signs all fallen off. The grouds themselves seems to be maintained but there's something eerie about the place. Still it's worth going for the views and looking at the old overgrown building. Pack a picnic and bring a treat for the local ginger cat. There plenty of park benches and a kids park with swings.

This is an interesting location with a lot of beautiful sights and an interesting story. Despite this, I would not recomment this as a site for a visit during a tour...it is not so interesting as to be a major highlight of your trip to Barbados. It would be much better to come for an hour and have a picinic rather than rush through a 15 minute presentation.
