We had a wonderful week here. The staff are brilliant, the food is great and the cocktails are plenty. Only downside is that the sea is quite rocky once you get off the beach, so you need to wear sea shoes to protect your feet. Alternatively, there are lovely pools in the complex, so you don't really need to go in the sea. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean, with good air conditioning. Would definitely recommend.

Last day of a 18-night stay with my family of 5. This is a fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating beach club hotel. Great services from the reception, the housekeeping, the maintenance, the food and drinks, the lunch and dinner entertainment shows, the kids club, etc. Everyone on this property demonstrated they are doing their best to make guests feel welcome and rested, especially in these unforgiving times of COVID restrictions. Our stay was personally touched by Sandy and her team at the kids club, Ashleigh and Ryan at reception, Stephen, Kimeisha, Teonny, Mary Ann, Kane, Obi, Elecia at the always-welcoming restaurants. We would like to thank them for going above and beyond. The food was tasty with lots of variety and themes. Between the Rachel and the Drifters’ restaurants, we were all set for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kids had a blast too with ice creams, smoothies and natural juices. I would recommend the all inclusive package because it simplifies the stay. The beach was right at our footsteps, and walking the 1.5 miles of sandy beach was an easy sporting activity we delved into regularly (Savannah Beach to Accra Beach Hotel and back to the Hilton Hotel is about a 3 miles in total of beachfront walk). Sunsets were magnificent for pictures. Savannah is also a very good location to wonder towards the West and North, or the South East and East. It was easy to book taxis and tours though the hotel reception. Last but not least, the main pool and the nicely built swimming canals were well kept and a pleasure for the kids to swim in. We wish we could stay longer.

Savannah beach club is just decent, no better. We stayed for 3 days and i can confidently say the actual beach is rocky and NOT suitable for swimming. They do have 2 small pools. Drinks are watered-down, food is mediocre, bedrooms and resort in general are loud and echoes. The best aspects of Savannah beach club are the wonderful staff and comfortable beds.

Beautifully situated by the sea with easy access to buses into town. The rooms were spacious, each with a balcony giving out onto a canal with small bridges and flanked by trees. However it was the staff who made our stay so memorable; they treated us warmly, each and everyone could not do enough for us.

Well...I pride myself on customer service, even when dealing with my own clients. It wasn't everyone but I experienced very rude staff at Savannah Beach Club. I had a few incidents with one particular young lady. The last incident was when by fiancee and I were at breakfast. I spoke with a big smile and said Good Morning! She looked at me turned her back to me and only asked my fiancee are you finished, can I take your plate and then walked away...mind you I was finished to. If it wasn't for the other staff members, the Savannah would have gotten one star. The place needs alot of updating but the views are amazing and it is clean. Another thing that was alarming to me is that you had to ask for bath towels and it was very hard getting them. I bathed with a large hand towel the first three days. The food was okay. Due to being environmentally aware..which I respect. They serve you in plast cups that have been used serveral times and its very obvious. ln my opinion it is off putting. I requested a glass and one of the young ladies held my drink for about 5 minutes going back and forth with the bartender. I suppose my request was offensive but I wasn't trying to be. I asked her " is everything okay?" She kept whispering to the bartender and would not make eye contact or respond to me. I asked several times. I know she heard me because the bartender tried to answer me as she kept her back turned on me and pulling him back around so she could continue to whisper to him. Would I go back to Barbados? Yes, but I would seek other accommodations.

Amazing staff amazing place amazing food. Everything about the place was just amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and got on great with our family. They even knew what my youngest liked to eat and drink. They couldn't do enough for him. We were gutted to be coming home as we've made memories to last a lifetime. We'll definitely look to go back in the future. If you're unsure where to go in Barbados then this place comes highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. Love the wading pools, although I wished there was one deep enough for those of us who can swim. The plus side to that, is that one of the pools goes right up to the bar! If you're planning to vacation/staycation here, you've chosen a great place, but I hope you like walking because there are many stairs to climb and it felt like it took forever just to get to the elevators. The place is truly beautiful and the spa is divine! It's close to the popular St. Lawrence Gap (about 15 minutes drive) and also close to Bridgetown and many restaurants.

The experience at the Savanah resort our all Inclusive stay, from the booking to the arrival was like royalty. The security attendant made the welcome heart felt and warm as he held the afternoon break just for us and that started our welcome. The property was very picturesque, easy to relax. We enjoyed every delicious meal in every location. From Chef David Layne and his team of master Chefs the team in the restaurant matched and came up with excellent service as you are greeted by name as you enter every restaurant on property, the room was Beautiful, neat and tidy with great room service. Our resort manager Mister Best is confident and gives his team the opportunity plus freedom to make guest always feel welcome, next years time there will be longer as it feels like our second home . Savanah resort ☆☆☆☆☆ .

We arrived at the Savannah Beach Club 03/10/22...everything seemed fine to start with until we noticed there was no control for a/c or t.v. Husband immediately went back to reception to report this and was told it would be dealt with. 3 days and another 2 requests later we finally got the .... 3 days with a 3 year old and just a ceiling fan in that heat is not fun Then we discovered the safe was not working 😕. 1st morning there we sat by the pool and had drinks..... served in glasses ... not the best idea by a pool and to top this off were given plastic straws !!!! by the beach ?????? There was a well stocked shop on site but unfortunately it was closed the whole 7 days we we're there, which leads me to my next rant . 11.30 Wednesday morning and our granddaughter wanted an ice cream..... knowing full well the shop was closed so the only other option was the bar, but only ro be told we couldn't have one until lunch started at 12.30 !!! Come on , a 3 Yr old wanting an ice cream isn't too much to ask ..... its not like there were a dozen kids all wanting one ... she was the only child on site. Finally on Thursday housekeeping came to clean our room which is pretty awful considering we'd been there since Monday teatime. Oh we had received a change of towels once in the 4 days and had the bed made but nothing cleaned to what I would consider a decent standard..... I even had to find housekeeping on the Tuesday to ask for more toilet roll. Apparently the reason behind only having rooms cleaned every 3 days was because of Covid protocol!?!?!? Surely there would be more thorough cleaning in that case ???? Eventually Monday came and we had requested a late checkout, so went for lunch as usual, got back to the room with 1 hour to spare before taxi was due only to find out they'd already automatically checked us out and our key cards no longer worked . After 10 minutes of trying to find someone we got back in . 14.10 we received a call from reception informing us our taxi has arrived...... 35 minutes early! No where near ready we said they'd have to wait. 14.45 we left the room.... had to go and find our own luggage trolley and make our own way through the hotel, over 2 raised steps to the reception area..... no help from porters whatsoever. After going to Barbados 7 times, staying at 4 different resorts I can categorically say we will not be returning there !!!!!! On the plus side, the restaurant staff were lovely....made a huge fuss of our granddaughter, but as for everything else..... I think we'll pass next time.

An exceptional hotel with the most impressive pools we’ve ever encountered. Recently redecorated and refurbished, both the common areas and our room we’re like new and finished to a high standard. We were blown away by the uniqueness of Savannah Beach Club, it felt like you were in a building inspired by plantation houses yet would blend in perfectly in a place like Miami - incredible! Two amazing restaurants offering a selection of buffet and a La carte meals. Better yet, it’s perfectly located for exploring the south and west coasts of Barbados, with many beaches, shops and bars in walking distance. Add Savannah Beach Club to your Barbados list! @laaurenjade

My experience at Savannah beach club was not the most pleasant as a business traveller from a fellow Caricom nation. From my arrival, certain aspects as it relates to the amenities were not communicated prior and I felt very uncomfortable during my stay there. Some of the staff were flat out rude and expressed their disdain from their facial expressions for any clarification required. To say the least i tried to avoid them most of the trip. The hot component of the shower was not functional and the ac remote was not working. When I called reception, they took 2 days to get a remote checked . I wouldn't advise anyone that is black or from the Caribbean to stay there and to spend your money at a place you will not be valued.

Location is great, beach is way too rocky to have a nice swim. The view is amazing though. My issue came with the front desk staff. No smiles, didn't give us accurate information regarding check out time. ( she said 10 am yet the paper they gave us said 12), this made a difference to us because our flight out wasn't til 400pm and when we asked for a late check out, we were told no. We wouldn't have asked or rushed to pack if we knew we could stay till 12 legitimately. Considering the cost per night, they wouldn't give us our arm bands for food or drinks until strictly 3 pm. All inclusive, resort, just left us feeling like we were staying in a cheap hotel, especially considering the unfriendly staff at the desk. Saying that, the restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and happy, as were the bell men who helped get our bags to our rooms.

Convenient location. Beach was sandy until you went in the water..rocky. The pools were both nice. Rooms were basic. Clean. Not quiet. Check-in is at 1500, not 1455, 1500. Of course, the drink/food band isn't given until you are checked in. And the lunch gets put away at the same time. Check out is 1200. Lunch is at 1230. May be a good time if staying for a week. Certainly not worth the all inclusive price for one night.

We stayed at Savannah Beach from 4th -11 th March 2023. Absolutely loved it. We had a fab room with everything we needed. Staff could not do enough for you. Food was great and plenty of it. After reading reviews that food was not up to standard, I was a bit sceptical, but had no need to worry. The hotel was very clean but is looking a bit tired. We heard it is being renovated 2024. We would certainly recommend. Oh and the entertainment was good.

this place is horrible. the staff are so unfriendly and horrid. When me and my family arrived at the place after 16 hours of driving we were expecting to be able to relax finally. The place over booked so we weren’t allowed in. We entered our room and there were people in there! This place is outrageous and absolutely unacceptable. this behavior is unacceptable. We weren’t refunded or anything for compensation. They attempted to blame it on the elders of the family for “being too old to see to book it” ! this is outrageous. Never again and don’t recommend. Also there was bugs everywhere!

Hotel needs updating, fittings and fixtures worn and a bit worse for wear ,most of the staff are helpful and fun ,but some in need of customer service training and let the hotel down, food is a bit the same some days good and some days not so good. It could be an amazing boutique hotel lots of history and great location..

I was a guest a wedding reception @ The Savannah Beach Club. The location didn't send difficult to get to. I'm grum NYC & this was my first time in Barbados. My cousin was as first at the hotel here, she was Not hair with the service, WiFi nor staff interaction. She had to carry her luggage up for flights of stairs to the lobby. No one came to get her luggage, the WiFi worked in certain areas (in her room and on the balcony/veranda). She did say her room was clean (hardly any dust on her Clorox wipes-b4 she unpacked). Quality sheets and a spacious room. The food for the reception was ok. We had white rice, rice & pigeon peas (I didn't eat either, they looked bland), 3 cheese macaroni, veggie lasagna (looked like canned mix veggies was the filling) in red sauce was tasty too me(didn't care for the potatoes & like beans). The fish (Marlin) was dry but the coconut sauce was nice, the orange chicken was very tasty. The serving staff was friendlier then the parking attendant or the few other staff members were asked directions from. I won't be staying at Savannah Beach Club on my next holiday in Barbados.

There are a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and a 10-15 minute walk will take you closer to a town area. In terms of the rooms, they are quite spacious but there are two sides - an older side and a more modern side. The older side isn't bad, but the walls are thin and you hear what's going on in neighbouring rooms. Some of the reception staff were not very friendly and there were two nights during my stay where I had no water in my room.

The Savannah Beach Club was a very comfortable and professionally run hotel. They coped admirably with a hurricane and kept all guests informed on what was happening. Service proceeded without a break and their high standards maintained.

Lovely setting on the beach. All staff very friendly & helpful. Quiet when we stayed, so the menu was a little restricted/ repetitive at times. Personally, I would have liked a little more entertainment in the evenings.

This was my second stacation fo 2022 (August and December). I enjoyed my stay immensely. However I was looking forward to old year's night but the band was a big let down. Not only was the music left much to be desired but the band had technical difficulties. I am suggesting that the hotel get a real live band and a deejay who knows how to get the party going. Finally, it would be good if the hotel had its own fireworks as we had to peer between the trees to see fireworks from Sugar Bay nextdoor and Hilton

Savannah Beach Club in Barbados looks very good. It’s a much small in size which makes it easier to get around. Four of us should have a great time in the near future.

We stayed here for 10 nights this past Christmas. Like many others have said the hotel needs some TLC in particular the bathroom. However, I have two fairly pressing complaints; 1 - goes to the housekeeping staff which others have mentioned. There is very little cleaning going on there besides the wet floor left afterwards. I had to request my bedsheets be changed on day 7 after they had allegedly cleaned the room. 2 - the afternoon tea was a disappointment too. Again, others have mentioned, and I experienced this twice. The hotel is either failing to estimate how much it’s guests will consume here or deliberately rationing. On one occasion I had been out and missed lunch so was excited for the afternoon tea. When I arrived and tried to serve myself I was told I could not, fair enough. There were a couple of sandwiches varieties, scone and a fruit cake. When the staff handed me two little sandwich cubes and a scone I signalled that I needed more. She then turned around and looked at the guests and mumbled that the food had to last. Unbelievable when I’d spent thousands on an all-inclusive and again as a seasoned traveller this was a new experience. Best features; 1 - breakfast! Not only there was so much to choose from there was a mixture of all the usual you’d find anywhere in the world plus local cuisine which was delightful. 2 - the staff especially at the bar/waiting staff. Staff were courteous and attentive in an authentic way. They also appeared happy to be working there and seemed to be having a great time mingling with the guests. 3 – picnic to another town, Christmas dinner and variety of special events. With some minor adjustments this place could tick all of the boxes

Lovely hotel in a wonderful location, right on a glorious beach. The bedrooms are a bit tired and could do with updating but the public areas are fine. All inclusive meant great food and plentiful drinks. What really shines are the staff who offer a sincere and friendly service, nothing is too much trouble. A great holiday venue. I recommend it.

We had a day pass 1/11 and we loved it. Beautiful abience and very clean. Was worth the money. The staff were efficient on arrival, though they forgot to give us our rum punches on arrival. The receptionist manager ( purple hair) was professional and warm. The gentleman that guided us down was brilliant ..bar staff, catering staff fantastic. I have an severe MSG allergy, the table server, he was competent. He was able to navigate me around the menu. The afternoon teas, could have been a bit better, the sandwiches were named as ham, but looked like something else, there was nothing for non pork eaters or vegetarians. The cakes were 9.5 out of 10. Missing from the beautiful scones was jam, cream or butter. But it was all good still. The only negative point was access to the hospitality room, booked for 5 as 2 of the group needed to catch a plane. The reception lady ( who was not there in the morning ). was truly slow and lacked the essence to recognise that we needed to move. She failed to communicate the hold up to the room, which caused us anxiety - which could of been avoided. We finally got 45 minutes of the paid for 60 minutes. No apology from her about the delay. Further feedback to the manager, was immediately mitigated that this particular receptionist often gets compliments and good feedback. The managers response though apologetic was disappointing. On this occassion the receptionist failed. We dont want to hear what she is normally like. But, away from that, it was a nice experience and I would recommend it

Avoid Savannah beach hotel, from checking in being the biggest headache waiting nearly 2hours to giving us a room that someone ( might I just add this poor man was blind they summoned him to front desk) to then realise the gentleman was there for another week, staff are rude to you numerous times I’ve been abruptly told to WAIT in a tone I wouldn’t speak to anyone let alone a guest, food is disgusting unless you like burgers everyday the restaurant is not a restaurant but a buffet and the chopsticks restaurant is only open Friday and Sunday to which we had no knowledge of as some friends ate there on Tuesday it’s only Wednesday and we’re having to eat out again tonight as we did last night this place has totally spoilt my holiday which is such a shame because the place is lovely and could be so much more never felt so unwelcome anywhere everything is such an effort!!! Not looking for sympathy or anything just making others aware of this place as it’s totally ruined my perception of this wonderful place and don’t think I’ll be in any rush to come back 🇧🇧

The people behind the bars and in the restaurants are great, so attentive and polite. Chef is a top cook! Food is very good! Beach front rooms are great. Beach is bit rocky but not too far to walk to find a spot with no rocks. Stunning sun sets.

I went for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was good regular Bajan fare. Ambience was awesome, right off the beach but flies were pesty. Desserts were lacking. There were only mini cheesecakes and a little baked goods. Sorbet or ice cream would have been nice. All in all I would go again.

The staff was excellent! Service great. Unfortunately the beach was not in great shape due to the time of year, and the large pool was closed for maintenance m. Deserves another look though.

We arrived knowing the property was lovely, but the people, food, experience exceeded all expectations for our family of four, including two teens. The buffets are incredible: healthy, plentiful variety, reflect local Caribbean flavors, clean, delicious. The staff are warm and wonderful. The rooms were clean and private and every room has a view worth remembering. The beaches surrounding the hotel feel almost private. Bring goggles, so much to see along the shoreline. We will return!
